She would ask me a question about my hair and then walk away to talk with them and direct them in the furniture movement and cleaning, and when she returned, she seemed to have forgotten she asked me a question. She wasn't paying full attention to what she was doing while cutting my hair and left some areas unfinished. When I asked her to finish them at the end of the cut, she said no, I had to go, because she was paying these people! I was astonished, as I was paying her for a service during which she did not pay full attention. She also insisted, with belligerence, that the cut was complete, when I felt it definitely wasn't, as she simply hadn't been paying attention to what areas she had finished. I got the feeling that she was frustrated and checking out, because she didn't want to be there, or at least, didn't want to be interacting with a customer. I found the situation challenging, and overall, I felt that the service was quite unprofessional.

Despite that, the stylist started cutting the back with a zero guard. When I asked her to fix it and make the back even, she then insisted on cutting the top as well. I do believe the stylist means well, but man the communication is off. At first, I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe I was using the wrong terminology. I even pulled up photos and definitions on my phone to clarify what I wanted. I was asking for a taper, but it seems like we had completely different definitions, and she may have thought I wanted an undercut, despite having a wolf cut. For some reason there was a ton of confusion and was even told "it is hard to understand what you want, because you don't know what you want for your haircut". Simply put, it was a very frustrating experience for something that should have been simple and seamless. I've seen photos of your work online, and it seems like your salon does good work, which makes this even more disappointing. I'm honestly surprised that such a basic taper could not be done correctly. The end result, the side burns aren't even. The upper part on my sides are way worse.
