Karly used a lot of numbing products so I virtually felt nothing. I almost fell asleep during the process. Karly is a perfectionist and makes sure you look natural and are happy with your look when you walk out the door. She sent me home with a care sheet and ointment for my brows and numbing ointment for my lips. After care is to keep my brows dry for 4 days then use the ointment and numbing cream for 48 hours to keep my lips moist and help with any after pain. Honestly, the only after pain is minor prickly feeling on my lips and brows. Which is essentially no pain at all. I'm def grateful I made the decision to get my lips and brows done with Karly. Brittany had reached out to me same day after I had scheduled my appointments online, and provided all the details on the services I was requesting to make sure it was what I was wanting. This made me feel so much better about getting each procedure done. The day of, she walked me through the process, and took her time finding the right colors. I was nervous about going darker on the lips at first, so I went with a lighter color. She put plenty of treatment on the brows and lips, and felt no pain during each procedure. She also checked in on me frequently to make sure I was doing ok. Immediately after, there was very minimal swelling which went away within 24-48 hours. I recommend following the healing directions she hands out at the end with the care kit she provides. I was so happy with my results, she totally nailed the look that I wanted!!! I did get complimentary touch-ups with the combo packages I chose (which I also recommend). She was flexible on the scheduling, and I decided I wanted to go darker on the lips. Brittany was totally accommodating to all my wants and needs, making sure that I was happy. She also checked in with me after both visits to follow up with any questions I had, and to make sure my healing process was going smoothly. Jessie set it up, came back to check on me a few times, and made it an easy, pain-free process. Afterwards, when i checked my lashes, they looked amazing! The best lift that I've had in awhile and especially in this area. You do have to put down a deposit to make your appointment, but it goes toward your appointment, so you only need to pay the difference. Overall, I had a positive experience and my lash lift lasted a good 8 weeks. I definitely recommend and would like to go back (though it is a bit far for me!).

She extracts, steams, moisturizes, masks, and even has high tech equipment like High frequency probe to use on your face. She won't do something that won't benefit your skin. I came to her recently after I had really bad congestion and failed to extract properly, I gave myself red, inflammed, and patchy skin. She spent a good amount of time extracting the remaining spots I had failed to extract successfully and soothed, & iced my face after all the steaming and prepping. The next morning I was pretty shocked to see that even the initial breakouts I had, had disappeared and dried up. I don't go to anyone else because HeeSun knows my skin and offers everything she can to nurture it and heal it over time. She's very hospitable and takes care of the whole you. This place is a no go. I have been going here for about six years, and in and get a quick trim. But now it seems like Ellen, one of the hairdressers, thinks it is ok to cut your hair the way she wants it. And not the way you asked...:/ I am a girl, and i used to have long hair just about covering my chest. I had layers on the inside. I came in yesterday and asked for a trim. SAME FUCKING HAIRSTYLE. But just an inch and a half off. I measured this at home and saw my smallest layer in my hair would still be past my shoulders. I told Ellen i waned my hair to be cut in a V-shape in the back. But she said: "Are you sure? That's is not the style now a days. IT is supposed to be a U-shape." I said " Oh, but can you cut me a V-shape anyways please?" Ellen didn't respond. #0 minutes later she showed me the back of my hair- it was a U-shape and the layers were on the outside and my hair is now above my shoulders.:o I was shocked and sad, it took me so many years to grow it out that long and get the right amount of layers so my super-thick hair wouldn't bunch up and become all puffy. I now have a straight-cut ends, puffy layers that can't settle down on my hair, and a U-shape hair back. According to Ellen though: It is what is "instyle now". Ellen, i don't care if it is instyle. I was nervous about needing to find a new hair salon, because I have very thick, coarse, curly, long, red hair. In the past, I've had to deal with very inexperienced stylists. And their mistakes would take months to correct, and also leave me having to search again for a different stylist. Annie and Holly were gracious and very welcoming to me as a new customer. Annie helped me pick out the right colors, oh, I'm elderly so I also have grey hair as new growth. Annie also explained how she intended to color my roots and also added a full head lowlights. Holly did the washout and provided a head massage, which was amazing. The colors are absolutely stunning, and when the light shines you can see the lowlights perfectly blended. I also received a haircut, which I must say, Annie is one of the very best! As I waited on my hair color, I watched Annie do her "thing" in styling her customers hair. I was concerned about how things are being santitized in light of the Pandemic as well as what would happen to my hair. The experience was FANTASTIC! I typically don't write reviews but in light of where we are economically, it's a prudent thing to do to help those that truly want to provide excellent service in a very trying time. I was a time customer and Annie was fantastic! I very rarely take the time to write a review unless my experience was truly above average. I have very straight, fine hair, but a lot of it and wanted a bob. For some reason, all the stylists before her just couldn't get my hair to lay down right in a bob. Annie did! She is the best! I brought in a picture and she re-created it, after first making sure 'one last time' I wanted it cut that short. I have been coming to Vivi Salon for the past 6 years. Annie just knows how to cut my hair. I always leave a satisfied customer! You just can't beat a $20 haircut that looks like it would have cost $75 at other salons. I usually just walk-in for my haircuts and am out of there within 30 minutes. Annie is efficient. I was referred by sister to do microblading. I was very scared but Annie assured me that it would be okay. Annie did a fabulous job making me beautiful again. Her quality of work pays off what I paid for. She knows her job and she has skills in handling my type of eyebrow. She went over and beyond. It was my first time being at vivi salon. I found the salon on Google and Yelp and decided to give it a try because it seemed that there were many Asian hair photos on reviews, and that was an important deciding factor for me because it is super hard to find hairstylists who know Asian hair well in this area. Annie did a fantastic job with both my hair cut and color. I had a super dark color, but they used great products so that my hair was not damaged after bleaching and adding highlights. I go to the best salon ever. I want my hair to look great all the time. Now it does! My hair stylist is "Annie" at ViVi Salon and Spa in Mill Creek. Amazing service! They also have a lot of integrity. I went months ago because I wasn't happy with how another salon did my hair, but they told me to go back and have them fix it rather than spend more money (and they gave me candy). Today I went back for them to do my hair this time and it turned out excellent. I'm really in love with it this time! Also it was a really good price and really quick for what I got done. Just got my haircut, and LOVED it! Annie did a great job!!! This is the third hair stylist I've gone to, and she is the BEST!!! Prior to this haircut, I had asked my friends if they would recommend their stylist, but they wouldn't because they were not happy with theirs. I came in to have my brows microbladed. I only wanted someone who was Phibrows trained as they are the best and who I also trained with. Annie was AMAZING! She is an artist! I'd had a few bleach treatments in the 3-5…read moreyears prior, and my hair has tolerated it remarkably well, remaining healthy and strong and shiny, probably because I never heat treat it. I came in for my first hair treatment since covid, so I was ~emotional and excited for a refresh. I forget the name of my stylist but ...... wow. 1- We were lightening for a balayage and despite using bleach my tips came out darker, still warm-toned (I'm undeniably cool-toned and made sure to bring it up). Also my whole head was about one (warm) color... it didn't reflect our discussion at all, and my balayage gave harsh grow out lines 2- Despite the low level of lightening, and my hair being very receptive to bleach, the treatment she applied absolutely fried my hair. It's been over two years since I had this done and I've heat styled it 0 times and dyed it 0 times, and even after cutting it much shorter the bottom 8" completely remain utterly fried. 2 years later I'm accepting that I'll probably have to cut it chin length to stop the absolutely dead hair from splitting further. Even with Olaplex, it's so outrageously tangled, split (I've had hairs with 4+ splits in them ... WTH), and dead that there's no saving it. I've never experienced anything like it.. it's just *dead*. I've only had my hair lightened in a salon because I'm so worried about this happening, and it's hilarious that the most ineffective bleach treatment I've ever had somehow was the one bleach treatment to ruin my hair. I'm about resigned to hacking it to a short bob and starting over. Oh - they also charged me extra on top of the Groupon because my hair was below my shoulders, even though it's extremely fine. Long story short, my Groupon here actually ruined my gorgeous hair, and I think it'll be about 5 years to get it back. Approaching the midpoint I think it's time to leave a review. :( Tl;dr my self-care appointment to rehab long boring hair gave me 5 years of bad hair.

I do have blonde hair that tends to turn brassy very quickly, and unfortunately that happened again after my visit, which was a bit disappointing. I also felt like a lot of product was used in my hair, which came across a little like a push to purchase more products -- that was really my only negative. That said, my haircut was absolutely perfect, the prices are reasonable, and I would definitely go back. I'm confident that with a bit more conversation next time, we can get the color just right too. Overall, I'd recommend giving them a try!

Over time, I had two concerns about billing--one involving an unexpected charge and another involving what I believed was an overcharge. I raised these concerns respectfully because I believe clients should feel comfortable asking questions about pricing and services. The situation that ultimately ended my relationship with the salon arose while I was trying to coordinate my keratin treatment and hair color, appointments I had planned well in advance. After an unexpected change to my keratin appointment, I communicated with my stylists while trying to find a solution. I genuinely did not understand that communicating with them in this way was considered outside the salon's preferred communication channels or that anyone was uncomfortable with it. My intention was simply to work out my appointments, not to cross anyone's boundaries. Once I was told there was a problem, I apologized, explained that I had not understood the salon's expectations, and assured them that I would respect those boundaries going forward. Nevertheless, all of my future appointments were cancelled and I was told that I could no longer return. I respect that salon employees are entitled to boundaries. What disappointed me was not being made aware that there was a concern earlier, when I could have understood the expectations and changed how I communicated. If a salon has specific rules about clients communicating directly with stylists outside established salon channels, I believe those rules should be clearly communicated beforehand. I valued the stylists who worked with my hair and would have happily respected the salon's communication boundaries once they were explained to me. I wish this had been resolved through a conversation and an opportunity to correct an unintentional misunderstanding rather than ending a longstanding client relationship. Unfortunately, the way management handled the situation left me feeling uncomfortable and deeply disappointed, and it has completely changed my opinion of the salon.
