We enjoyed our experience here as two lady beginner/intermediate golfers. Great affordable course for a quick 9 before or after work. Boys went golfing on the beautiful renovated coarse while my niece and I enjoyed Lilly's . The food was great drinks were very enjoyable! Definitely a nice Sunday .. will do again soon read more

1 Star - Incredibly Sexist and Disrespectful Staff I've played golf since I was a kid, competed on varsity in high school, and even worked at a golf course for four years--but I have never experienced treatment as blatantly sexist as what I faced at Copper Creek in Farmington Hills. During my round, an older employee came out and hunted us down on the second hole. When he pulled up to us, he stood in silence for at least 10 seconds. I politely asked, "What's up?" and was met with an incredibly rude, dismissive response: "Ma'am, let me say what I need to say." He then directed the entire conversation at my boyfriend, as if I wasn't even there. He threatened to pair us up if we didn't play each hole within 15 minutes--even though we were waiting on every single shot for the slow foursome in front of us. We ended up averaging about 6 minutes per hole while continuing to wait on the group ahead. This wasn't about pace of play--it was about how women are treated at this course. Because I was wearing a pink skirt and had a pink bag and water bottle, this employee assumed I didn't know how to play and spoke down to me as if I was incompetent. To make matters worse, the man in the pro shop was already extremely rude to my boyfriend before we even teed off. I have never been so disrespected at a golf course in my life. The sexism here is blatant and unacceptable. I will never return and would warn any female golfer to steer clear of Copper Creek. read more

Worst golf course in Michigan. Tees and greens are not playable. The marshals harass you and garbage all over the course. Do not play here.

Used to love this course. Was a decent value for 9 holes and a cart. Now only run by teenagers without any management on or off site. Thunderstorms at hole 5. Asked for rain check. Basically they said no they get in trouble for giving too many out. Not even a discount for me to return. Well I won't be and I will be letting others know this too. Greens were not in great shape and the carts are very out dated. Too bad this used to be a favorite. Good thing there's a lot more to choose from in the area. read more

We have golfed at this course a few times in the past seasons and told others about it with rave reviews. However, I will no longer be doing that, nor will I ever go back again. Not only does the course need some severe tender loving care, with lots of brown sandy ant areas all over the course, but they were also testing the sprinkler system (on Memorial Day?), so I am guessing it is the first time watering? Unfortunately, it doesn't look recoverable. Our tee time was at 11:09, and we did not get on to the course until 11:30. Would that be a big deal usually, no not at all; however, the young man who was running the flow of carts came by us about hole 3, and asked if it was slow, I said no it's okay, and explained we have to wait for the people in front and for the lawn mower a few times. We were with someone who had not golfed in many years but never did he hold up anyone and moved his ball up to ours if needed. At HOLE 9, he came back to us and asked about our tee time, I told him the time we had booked, and he said, "That is almost a 3-hour round, you need to pick up the pace!" We were in the fairway of the LAST HOLE! It was extremely rude, and he obviously was getting in trouble by someone, but for 6 holes, we couldn't hit right away because of the people in front of us! It's GOLF! We were done at 2:00, which for 9 holes on Memorial Day is not bad! The person we played with was polite to them (more than I was) and at the end, complimented them on their course and told them about how he had not played for 20 years. They seemed nice to him. However, they went inside and began talking about him, NOT IN A NICE WAY! I heard every word, walked inside, and went to the bathroom to let them know we were still there! The words drunk, walking that way, crazy, never understand, how insane, were coming out of their mouths! I will never step foot on their course again, and neither will many others after I share this with the groups at Fox Hills, Salem Hills, and other wonderful places we frequent! Don't waste your MONEY, Go elsewhere! read more

I had the more than fortunate experience here after the starter at Bay Pointe Golf Club treated me like a peasant's toenail fungus for showing up 5 minutes late to my tee time, on a rather slow morning. Nonetheless, upon entering the clubhouse at Copper Creek, my group was welcomed by a true gentlemen. Salt of the earth kind of guy. He provided us a brief overview of the challenging holes offered at Copper Creek. He was 100% accurate. The golf carts were top of the line and well-maintained. Each cart had a cooler on the side full of ice. One could fit the perfect amount of beer for 9 holes to delay a hangover after a long night at the saloon all while not going over the edge. It's Saturday morning, after all. The banquet hall appears top of the line. I'll certainly keep it in mind when looking for a venue to marry my third bride. I will see you again, but not yet. I love this course for a quick nine holes. It has some challenging holes, decent par 3's, decent par 5's and some easy and tough par 4s. You get a chance to use all the clubs in your bag. The price is fair and they're very friendly here. The course is well kept. I do wish the fairways were ever so slightly shorter. I'd play here anytime. read more

This is my favorite nine course golf course it's a little hidden gem and I love playing they're excellent service they keep the greens really beautiful and it's just such a lovely setting I shouldn't be telling you this because then it would get crowded so maybe I will just try to keep it to myself read more

Tight winding course through houses, leave your hook and slice at home! Good prices, love playing this course. Each hole by itself so no one plays into your hold, has elevation changes and is well maintained. One par 3 over lake which has a few of my golf balls. Most people do not realize it is a public course as the clubhouse is in the basement of the Leli's restaurant ($$$$). Downstairs does serve burgers and sandwiches and drinks at reasonable prices. read more

Showed up with my 7 year old daughter on a Sunday afternoon in the fall to play 9. The parking lot was kind of busy but the course looked quiet. There were a lot of people in the bar upstairs. I'm guessing this is a hang on a football Sunday... went into the pro shop which was empty. Adjacent meeting and dining area also empty. Attendant comes in and I tell him we want to play 9. He immediately started coming up with reasons we couldn't get out. First it was because he had a "big group" of 20 going out in "20 minutes". Ever been to a golf outing? Carts are lined up and 20 minutes before tee time everyone is getting ready to go out. There was not a soul in sight. I asked if it was a shotgun start. It would have made sense to me to not let anyone go out if there was going to be a shotgun start. He said "No, there isn't a shotgun start". So with no one on the 1st tee, no one in sight of the 1st tee, and 20 minutes before anyone was going off in this big group of "20" where there wasn't one person getting ready to go out we were clearly not welcome. We would have had two holes in in 20 minutes. After the attendant (a grown man and not a kid) tells me there was no shotgun start he pulls out, "you know, I'm not sure I have a cart and we are pretty busy." There were two carts outside of the pro-shop. He had just blew them off as we were walking in. Ever heard of a old course running out of carts on a Sunday afternoon in an NFL town in September? I felt angry and more than anything sadden for my daughter. The attendant at a public course clearly didn't want a kid on their course. It was 100% obvious. I took my daughter's hand and said we had to go, but would find another place to play. As we were driving away the attendant came out of the shop. Still no one to be seen in the course. Still two cart sitting on the curb. I rolled down my window and politely informed him that I knew he didn't want us to go out because I had my daughter with me and that I would never forget that. He immediately panicked and started begging me to come back. Too late guy. We ended up going to Idyl Wyld in Livonia. $22 for me and they didn't even charge for her. For the record she hits the ball better than some guys I've played with at courses like this. I only let her play from 150 yds in or less and she shot a 54. Clearly lied and discriminated against my daughter. I've never been this upset as a dad. If you're a woman or a parent know you are not welcome at this course. read more

9 holes with unique setting at each one. Challenging but no so much I couldn't feel the fun! Nice remodeled club house and shop with best priced priced golf folks there really nice. Fees are the best! read more
