    Shrimp scampi
    Mike B.

We came here about 7pm on a Saturday night. We called ahead to see how busy they were and if we needed a reservation. No reservation was necessary. As we entered the parking lot, there were quite a few cars but were able to park easily and entered the building. The restaurant is located in what appears to be an old house. I know from living here years ago that this restaurant has been located here at least 30 years. It has always been a nicer restaurant for the area. We were promptly seated in one of the rooms, there were four total tables in our room but we were the only table seated which we appreciated due to covid. We could hear many other people in the building but were by ourselves in this room. We checked out the menu and made selections. Our orders were taken and arrived in a timely fashion. Everything looked good. Overall this was a good experience for social distancing and service, but the prices felt higher than what they should be for what you get. The best example based on what we ordered is the shrimp scampi - rice, about 6 shrimp, baked potato and side salad for $28.00.

Service was good, food was even better! I truly cannot remember what I had for dinner but I recall it being pricy, yet good. My favorite part was when the waiter hoisted several different desserts on a platter for us to see. We had their red velvet cheesecake.

Really good food. Server was great! Nice atmosphere. A little gem in Chambersburg. Potato skins are wonderful.

My first time here, and the food almost did not disappoint. The ambience is pretty casual and it's a pretty spacious place; residing in a home like unassuming building. We sat in the bar area which was pretty decent. For appetizers, we tried the Mediterranean flat bread and it was crisp and tasty! I ordered lean cut filet Mignon and scallops, and the scallops were on point. The only disappointment was that I ordered my filet to be medium rare but it came out a little over cooked, still pretty decent though. Overall we had a pleasant dinner here and would definitely return.

Prime rib was excellent! Serving staff was very efficient. Expensive, but worth the money.

My wife and I dined here tonight to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary…read more The restaurant was very busy but we were seated right away with no reservations. The wait staff was very attentive. Initially, we ordered an unsweetened iced tea and a Diet Coke, and one of their cactus blossom onion appetizers (which I had a free coupon for). The cactus blossom onion was similar to the blooming onion that is offered at Outback steakhouses but I think it was actually much better than the one at Outback. To say that it was absolutely delicious as an understatement. My wife ordered the 12 ounce prime rib medium rare and I ordered a 12 ounce ribeye medium rare with shrimp skewers combo. Both were cooked perfectly medium rare. A house salad, a Caesar salad, and steak fries are included with our orders. We can rate the house salad "five" and the Caesar salad "four" (it was not quite as flavorful as I'm used to. The steak fries were not "crusty"enough for me, but still were tasty. Also served with the meal were some extremely delicious warm rolls with sweetened whipped butter. Everything was served very promptly and the waiter checked with us many times. The weight staff also helped us with checkout which is done with a small computer screen payment kiosk on every table. The restrooms were clean and spacious. The bill for everything was a little over $70 but I had a coupon for a free appetizer and a $30 gift card so my final bill was only $49 including tip. Overall, it was an excellent dinner and we would dine here again in New York minute!

We noticed the nice Christmas decorations everywhere. Our server, Trent, was nice and got our food order correct, but it seemed he mixed our table number up with our neighbor's as our meals were brought to them first, taken back to the kitchen, then brought out to us after a kitchen staff came to ask what we had ordered. Then my husband's tea was brought to them and the same thing happened with that. When we got our check originally, it had the neighbor's $12 drink on it. Granted it was a busy night, but I shudder to think how many people were around our prepared food before it finally got to its correct destination. My 6oz sirloin was ordered medium, but it arrived medium well. But I accepted it as it didn't look too bad. It, in fact, was delicious- though a little tough on the edge. My sweet potato, grilled shrimp and green beans were yummy. My husband's double cheeseburger was humongous. No way someone can eat that regularly. He had ordered it cooked "no pink" but it arrived "burnt to a crisp". He mashed it up and mixed tons of ketchup in but could still only taste burnt meat. Way too overcooked. His broccoli was overcooked (mushy.) The complimentary rolls in the beginning of our visit were delicious. The music was on way too loud. We couldn't have a conversation without constantly saying "what?!" and having to repeat ourselves. We eventually just gave up and did stuff on our individual cellphones until our meals arrived. The bathrooms needed attending to (the women's smelled of cigarette smoke as well.) This was a disappointing trip. We're hoping if we come back (maybe not during the holidays) it will be better.

The meatloaf was fair, but I'm not a big fan of chopped meat in any form due to the grease and all the negatives of meat in general, especially chopped meat and chicken. The server was a young woman who initially indicated her displeasure at my asking questions about the slight difference between the online and in restaurant menu (no senior citizen choices in the online version for example and a couple of other differences) she told me they don't like to advertise the senior menu (wow!). I guess that says something about senior citizen business but I'm unsure if it's good or negative. Another surprise came when I asked what the difference was in the number of ribs or weight between 1/4 rack and half rack choices. She to me 1/4 was 2 or 3 ribs and half rack was 2 or 3 as well. I tried to clarify in my head if it was literally by the bone or by weight. She became defensive and I could tell she wasn't happy with my question, drilling for a precise answer not a guess. But again rather than make her more perplexed or more unappreciative of my question I just chalked it up to today's generation and lower schooling on precision than my generation. That changed the relationship for the better and all was fine after. She was attentive to my requests and did a great job bringing everything correctly and the other things like wash n dry type towelettes for the rib eating. The place is located in a busy area. Has a nice, comfortable inside and is clean with plenty of room between tables/booths. It's a comfortable climate with the local country music station playing overhead the tables and booths. After realizing my server and I were from vastly different generations, things went better. I'll be back and I received recommend this establishment.

The restaurant is in a little strip mall with 4-5 other restaurants, and I bet any of the other restaurants would have been a better choice. Inka Kitchen looked the fanciest on the outside with its seating area and fresh hanging flower baskets outside. I ordered a water with lemon. Sorry, no lemon, is lime okay? I also ordered an Inka cola. Sorry, we only have 2 liters, no individual servings. Then I ordered a 1/2 chicken with fried plantains & black beans. Sorry, no Peruvian chicken and the plantains are not sweet. The Peruvian restaurant did not have Peruvian chicken or fried plantains. So, I settled for a burrito bowl. I could not have been more disappointed. The chicken was tasteless but salty and tough/dry. There was a tablespoon of black beans, some diced tomatoes, definitely NOT pico de gallo, four slices of avocado, no guacamole, no sour cream. The other person had a quesadilla which they said was okay. So, how the restaurant has a 4.7 review is BEYOND me.
