This hotel and gambling hall is located off E. Aultman St. which is also Great Basin Hwy. Out front are a few big sculptures. Parking is free here. I booked the room using Spark.com website. I got a Dlx Dbl Rm 2 Queens for $104.08 x 2 nights + $28.09Tax = $236.15. Breakfast is not included. Our room was on the second floor. I don't think there is an elevator here. We used the stairs. Upon check-in, we were given 2 drink tickets good for 2 Well Drinks from the Prospector Lounge. The room was nice, nicer than I thought it was going to be! It was nice that there was a safe in the room as well as a microwave and a larger mini-fridge. In the room, we were given some candy and earplugs. We didn't need the earplugs. We didn't hear anything going on in the hallway during our stay. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well! We stayed here for two nights. If you desire to have some wine in your room, there are two bottle of Wolfgang Puck Wines for purchase. There's an on-site restaurant called Margaritas. It seemed like a cozy place to eat. We saw the steak and decided to give it a try, but we should have opted for a Mexican entrée instead. Maybe it would have been better. The Gambling Hall is the casino. It isn't in a room with a divider or barrier so the smoke is pretty prevalent. I truly felt like I was transported back to before the 1980's when smoking was allowed everywhere! I think smoking is not allowed in the Guest Rooms. I would not hesitate to book another room here again.

They were on their phone behind the bar the entire time I was there with my wife and friends. which is a shame. now, if you brought back that gentleman you had a year ago it'd be a different story. But good things don't last forever. i'm just one reviewer this will not make any difference, but I feel like I should be heard. And to that gentleman Chris that was working there last month myself and my wife wish you the best in your future endeavors.from the kenway family I had to look this gentleman up on Facebook, but I found it his name was Christian big white guy with glasses Keynote here I'm not staying at this motel. I was just gambling and drinking here. i'm staying at the Holiday Inn. And to anybody who see this online Don't be surprised if you start gambling and you have to wait 1 to 2 hours for a drink even though you've been there longer the only exception I would make is the bartender named Brett and he's a kind gentleman

It had a king in one room, a queen in the other, and a full pull-out couch in the common area. There was also a kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, sink, counter and cupboard space). The bathroom was roomy and had a spa tub with jets. We were in the "executive rooms" building across the parking lot from the main building (literally only a 30 foot walk). It is two story and did not have elevators. The couch bed, when folded out, partially blocked one bedroom door and made passing to the other side of it impossible without crawling over the bed, which was unfortunate. It was also a really low-quality, lumpy, springy mattress. But at least we had bed space for everyone. There is only one a/c unit (in the common area) , so to cool the bedrooms you have to keep the doors open. The jetted tub was a really nice surprise. The one jet behind the back was pretty weak, unfortunately, but the other four were good and strong and felt great. Breakfast was good: waffles, biscuits and gravy, cheese omelettes, a variety of cereal, toast, muffins, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt. The juice was really good: real, fresh orange juice instead of the usual watery stuff, and POG juice! There was also a great selection of 8 different teas, all good brands (no Lipton!) which I really enjoyed. The kids loved the pool, which is heated, and the hot tub. It is a chlorine pool. If you have to stay in Ely, this is the place to do it.

There is a mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, iron, iron board, and hairdryer. You also get a packet of complementary chocolate chip cookies and 2 water bottles. How thoughtful, it's the little things that count :) Casino is small but this would have been perfect had my mother in law joined us for this trip. Wouldn't have to worry about her getting lost. She loves to gamble but husband and I aren't into that so we didn't play. Pool and jacuzzi are inside. Gives me 70s vibe but I think it's groovy. Didn't use it though, forgot my swimsuit. There is a restaurant on site that is open 4pm-9pm. We didn't eat there but that is convenient so you don't have to leave the property. However there is a couple other restaurants that are walking distance from here. They have a grab and go breakfast bag but we didn't get it. Gym is not on the property. It's about 3 blocks away. You will be given a pass to Anytime Fitness. Dog friendly!!! And as of 5/6/23 free of charge for your fur baby. Only con is there isn't a designated spot for your doggie to do their business. However, this wasn't a problem for me since I like to walk my dog for at least a mile so I just walked around the area...I saw some deers !!! The price was worth it for us. We paid $136 for a Saturday. The room was clean, lots of amenities, friendly staff at the front desk, and my favorite it is dog friendly. We would stay here again if we return to Ely :)

We got in around 2pm and took a chance that we could check in. Luckily, there were rooms ready for us and we put into a ground floor room at the "annex' which is diagonally across the street. I'm sure it was another motel at one time and was taken over by Ramada for an expansion. The room we got was a ground floor and in the corner. The room showed some signs of wear, but it was very clean and comfortable. It was spacious enough for us and our 2 dogs. It came with two bottles of water in the fridge and cookies, both were complimentary. Breakfast was pre-packaged at the front desk and it had a breakfast sandwich, juice, breakfast bar and fruit, all in paper bag for you to take with you either back to your room or on the road. There is no fitness center at the property, but you sign out a fob and go a short distance up the street to Anytime Fitness, which beats any hotel fitness center. Like it's been pointed out in other reviews here on Yelp and other sites, the swimming pool and hot tub are in the lobby, just past the slot machines. I've never seen that before! Overall, it was a great experience staying here and will again whenever we are back in the area.

We were able to enter Room 135 because I saw a staff person had affixed to the office door an envelope with my name that contained the keycard. When I entered and turned on the light, I immediately saw that the bed was unmade. We quickly saw that staff hadn't changed the sheets, which contained a few hairs with a stain on the fitted sheet. The two trash cans were not emptied. There was no soap or shampoo. The lack of a fridge made the terrible situation complete. We felt we had no recourse to go to another hotel in Ely, a spec of civilization in a middle-of-nowhere region of Nevada, every other motel likely closed. We left the next morning around 6:50, before the office opened at 7:00. Because there was no key drop, I affixed a sticky note tersely bulleting the deficiencies, stuck it to and wrapped it around the keycard, slid the card in its paper holder, and propped it on the metal push/pull bar of the office door. The management never contacted me or offered at least a partial refund. We will never stay here again. Do not stay here.
