Great place. Food is always good and drinks are cold. Bob runs a great business that really supports the community.

Food was excellent. Service great. Friendly owner. Clean bathrooms. We will definitely eat there again if we're in the area.

Clam Lake Classic!…read more 3.5 stars, but rounding up for the horseradish sauce! Clearly there are some issues with this place, but considering where it is (middle of nowhere and a 20 minute drive to your next best option), I'm willing to look the other way on certain things. First of all, the bar is awesome. There is LOTS of antler themed light fixtures, NRA-themed decor, and even some pro-Trump paraphernalia thrown in to remind you where you are. Aside from that, beer at the bar was cheap and conversation was good. We dined on a Saturday night suckered in by the temptation of smoked prime rib. After some discussion with the chef/owner, we discovered that there was no horseradish sauce in the house. Oh no!! Not to disappoint, the chef jotted off to the connivence across the road to pick some up. He whipped up a great sauce in a jiffy. Sorry, but Prime Rib is nothing without a good horseradish sauce! I loved the subtle smokiness of the meat. It had a great crust, but the cut was very fatty. For $24.95 with soup/salad bar, it was a bit pricey. At 16.95 I would not complain, but I suppose they gotta keep the lights on. For as up-north cool as the bar was, the dining room is pretty terrible. It could definitely stand some remodeling, but I think we all know that's not gonna happen.

They were out of the steak offering a small sirloin instead at that point we should've left, but I said well let's just order something else.so I order half rack of ribs and my husband a sandwich .The ribs came out with no sauce and tasted old I couldn't eat them I mean ribs with no sauce who does that??The waitress was sarcastic and very unprofessional.Burgers lost our business I guess they depend on the drinkers from the bar because they're to drunk to know what the food tastes like.I guess they need to do false advertising to get people in.So if you only want fries that's the place to go because that was the only food that was edible

Not only was it…read moreincredibly small- especially for an almost $14 burger (in a small town in WI no less) but it tasted reheated- dry, with no flavor and was slapped upside it's sorry dry face with a slice of processed American cheese. It was served with supposed hand cut fries that tasted like they were frozen fries you make in the oven. Everything came lukewarm, the processed cheese refusing to even give me the small pathetic victory by agreeing to melt on top of the dry meat pile. Even the cheese wanted out of this pathetic mess and back into the safety of its crinkly Kraft wrapper. I eyed the A&W right across the parking lot with a tear in my eye and thought once again of my bad life choices. I will never be eating here again and honestly wish I had read the reviews to save myself this experience and my $$. It's not too late for you.

I walked up to the bar, was greeted by a woman with a sour look on her face, and ordered a non-alcoholic Bloody Mary. I asked for it to be spicy. I've been ordering these drinks with and without alcohol for about 40 years now: This was the only undrinkable one I've encountered. It tasted like Red Hot on the rocks. I took a couple of sips and had to go throw up in the bathroom. Not kidding. My stomach and mouth were on fire. I'm still sick over an hour later. The two people I was with ordered food and were happy with it. I only had this horrible drink. When the waitress came back a couple of times, my full drink sat in front of me. She didn't ask if something was wrong with it. The second time she came back to the table I told her she could take the drink, that it was not drinkable. She said their mix is hot. Understatement of the year! There aren't a lot of people up north who like things spicy. I, however, do. She was kind enough to leave the full glass and bring a bill for $8.50. I paid it. On the way out, I handed the full drink to the sour faced lady that had originally "greeted" me at the bar. I told her it was so hot that it was undrinkable. No offer of a refund. I told her it was a nice way to spend $8.50. Now I remember why we stopped going here.

Love, love, love this spot…read more On a recent trip to the area, we stopped by here for dinner one evening. I think it was our favorite dinner of the trip. Patsy's serves up some delicious eats and their patio? All blooming, shaded loveliness. The first thing to note is that if you're dining on the patio, you'll want to run inside and grab some menus. You'll order at the bar. For my dinner I ordered their patty melt served on marbled rye, which was everything a patty melt ought to be (so good!). For my side, I opted for the onion rings which were battered (I prefer this over breaded) and perfectly crispy. Zero complaints on the pub grubtastic food. I also ordered an whiskey old fashioned, which was prepared in the Wisconsin style and was great. The service was also lovely. When I was ordering, the gentleman in front of me explained that he had been coming here for 30 years and it's the same guy behind the bar--amazing. Also, I totally accidentally left my purse on the patio (I only had one drink--just a complete oopsie moment). I didn't realize until the next morning. When I called, they had it stashed behind the bar for me and I was even able to pick it up prior to their opening. Really, above-and-beyond lovely folks working here. Get to it!
