In town for work. Dinner tonight was the 14oz ribeye, with grilled asparagus. Salad with blue cheese too. The salads was good, although I would have liked a bigger plate. The steak was cooked just right, with good char. Service was great, and the atmosphere of the place was good.

We visited this Steak House on our way from Red Bay Alabama to Washington State. So glad we did! Man alive did the owner Jon Savely produce a magnificent Lobster Ravioli and also a Crab Spaghetti. The color was unique in that it was black, this was done by adding Cuttle Fish ink to the batter. The spices complimented the dish as did the Merlot wine. Salad was beautiful and tasted good. All this was served to us by Gerardo and assisted by Angie and supervised by Samantha! What a team. Atmosphere was upscale but comfortable and inviting. The entire staff literally fast walked from table to kitchen to get food on the table while piping hot, and were very attentive to our needs. We will truly be back when next we pass through Kearney NE. Neil

Ordered the Lobster Mushrooms, critical lack of lobster. Tasted like a crab salad mousse at best with too much mustard. On the other hand, I also ordered the Dry Aged Wagyu Ribeye and it was divine. Perfectly seasoned, great crust, and spot on medium rare cook. The whipped mashed potatoes, asparagus and aged tallow butter were wonderful accompaniments. Service was professional and friendly. The dining room was beautiful decorated. There were high tops, tables, and ample bar seating perfect for just about any occasion. I just wish I had ordered the scallops instead of those terrible mushrooms or my server had offered a better recommendation. Needless to say, I will definitely be back for more Wagyu the next time I'm in Nebraska.

Went in for a snack. Picked a delicious salad and had to have the soufflé for dessert. Great food, great atmosphere and great service.

While in Kearney, Nebraska one is faced with a fairly narrow selection of cuisines: basically steak and potatoes (or burger and fries) are the predominant options here. That is not to say they aren't good, it's just natural given the community. Headed to the Coppermill Steakhouse for my bday. Of course a celebration deserves a great drink and the gin Martini was mixed delightfully. I enjoyed the Wedge Salad as our starter. Not a fan of bacon bits (or Gorgonzola cheese) so skipped those staples from the salad. I wound up jumping in on the New York Strip, which was fine but served medium as opposed to the requested Medium Rare. The sides were the better part of the meal though. Tasty mashed potatoes, rich with butter but the Blackened Cauliflower was unique, nicely (not overly) blackened and cooked to allow for firmness yet chewiness. Never looking for a freebie, it was mentioned that we were there celebrating a birthday. Not even a 'happy birthday' from the wait staff certainly didn't make me, or the place, seem special.

Our meal was excellent! We were driving through and wanted to stop at a steakhouse, and this one had good reviews. Our server Gerardo was very attentive and the meal was fantastic. We had Asian Seabass topped with smoked salmon dip, creamy pesto risotto that was to die for! The sirloin steak was cooked exactly right at medium rare and the rosemary mashed potatoes were also excellent.

This is a nice steakhouse with good food, but narrow menu. In all fairness, I did not get a steak. They have a robust lineup with pricing average to above average. I did find it odd that it was sort of a casual place, but the menu was pretty high-end. People were dressed in shorts and a t-shirt, yet many of the steaks were well over $50. The chicken breast sandwich was good. The breast was quite large and thick. The breading was light. So, it's definitely on the healthier side of all the fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I would totally try this place again. I did not have a steak and felt like maybe I was shortchanging them.

The first bite of that pepperoni pizza roll with the obviously fresh yeast bread dough roll, the meat sauce, the garlic cream sauce...then the fresh beer-battered fish and really good crispy french fries, and a home made cole slaw that's just about as good as my husband's late Southern grandma's cole slaw (which is really high praise.) The Lucky Seven pizza was also delicious with a perfect crust and big chopped veggies like mushrooms and peppers. Service was friendly and attentive; the decor is clean and on the more minimalist side while also comfortable and welcoming. Agree with all the other reviewers, this is absolutely an amazing experience--this meal will be one of the great memories of our road trip from Sugar Land, Texas (greater Houston area) to South Dakota and Mount Rushmore.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the restrooms were spotless, always a great sign. The food was clearly made with fresh ingredients. The side salad was humongous and beautifully fresh. The cup of chili was outstanding, packed with beef and beans in a hearty Rocky Mountain style with just the right amount of heat. The pizza was delicious, and the steak had gorgeous grill marks, juicy and tender just the way it should be. Pro tip: order the chili and beef pizza together! The pizza has a perfectly bread-y crust that dips beautifully into the chili, a combination you don't want to miss

Visually, it's a great spot--beautiful inside and out, an amazing patio, lots of TVs, and an impressive bar with 48 beers on tap plus beer flights. Unfortunately, during our visit, both the food and service fell short. We started with the pork belly bites. They were okay, but the texture wasn't what we're used to--we typically prefer them cooked a bit more. We also ordered the crab cakes, which came as three large pieces on a bed of lettuce (basically a big house salad). After a few bites, we realized they were ice cold. We let the bartender know and they were sent back, but they came out ice cold again. To their credit, they removed the item from our bill, which we appreciated. We then ordered a burger. The patty was very thick and had potential, but the fries were ice cold. Service slowed at this point--it took a long time to get ketchup or any follow-up. We noticed staff eating in a booth behind us while two employees behind the bar appeared busy, which was disappointing. The beer selection is excellent, but my Dirty Shirley tasted off. I switched to a Tito's and Sprite, but it still didn't taste right--likely flat soda that hadn't been changed. Overall, the patio and beer selection are highlights, but the execution on food and service missed the mark on this visit. Based on this experience, I'd give it 2 stars. Glad I didn't order the steak, as I think I would have been disappointed. -- Foodie99

The BBQ aroma meets you at the door as soon as you walk in. There's plenty of seating, and the restaurant is bright, and clean. I ordered the two-meat plate since I wasn't super hungry, and it was just enough to satisfy my taste for BBQ. The smoked sausage wasn't greasy and had a nice snap to it. The sliced brisket was moist with good smoky flavor, and not fatty at all. The Cole slaw was good, but I wouldn't mind a slightly larger portion. The toasted slice of Texas toast filled up the little last bit of space I had in my stomach. The meats were flavorful, and just what you'd want if you have a taste for BBQ. Service was quick, and friendly at the time of my visit which was on a Saturday afternoon. A good place for BBQ if you're not too picky, and hungry for some smoked meats.
