I asked if they would certify it so it would be covered under GM's CPO program. Mike took care of that at no extra charge. His communication was timely and thorough. He sent me all the documents next day and once I wired the payment. He sent the finalized documents as well. I arranged the shipping of the car to California. Fastforward to Friday I called again to see if there was any progress. He yelled at me again for calling and told me he usually charges 10 dollars every time someone calls to check on their car. That he thinks it's the bcm on my car and he will call me the next day with the price. He didn't call so on Monday I called to see what the price was and the possible time frame. Mind you I'm stranded up here with 3 kids and no car. My husband is gone over 2000 miles away. The mechanic yelled again and said that he ordered it but doesn't know the price. Didn't give me a time frame or anything. I sent him a txt asking if the bcm has to be programmed by a dealership which is what I heard. He said that since I'm researching it I might as well come get my car. I apologized and said I'm sorry I thought it was a good question. I don't know if you have to send it out or if I will have to tow it to a dealership to get it programmed. I said that i think it's also a good question to ask what the price is and a timeframe on how long he's going to have my car. He demanded I come pick up my car now. I said excuse me? Said come pick up YOUR CAR NOW. I said ok what do I owe you he yelled NOTHING COME PICK UP YOUR Da## CAR NOW and he hung up. So fast forward. On a dark winters night my husband was on his way to work, it had been raining for some time now, as a matter of fact it had been raining for many days. He took his normal route to work and spotted the high water sign, now mind you, My husband works third shift and it was dark, and by the time he had hit the water it was to late, the van had stalled ca-chunk-dead it was bricked. Luckily there were people home not far from where he had hit the water and a nice gentleman loaned my husband a pair of wading boots and went and got his truck and pulled him out. Now by this point unbeknownst to my husband, the nice gentleman's wife had called the sheriff to come and take care of the rest of the "situation". So Said Sheriff arrives gives my husband absolutely 0 time to call anyone and just calls Reinhart to make the tow. Now My husband had not asked for said sheriff to do so, and when Reinhart arrived my husband made sure to inform both of the gentlemen in the cab of the truck that he didn't have money for their services. Now one cannot feign stupidity here and tell me well I didn't know that meant he didn't want towed! They went ahead and put the van up on the flatbed anyhow. So my husband asked them to stop by the house so he could drop off his things and also he wanted the van dropped here. now this is where I came in. I came out side to say the least at this point I was beyond livid, and told them that what they were doing wasn't right and they knew it. That in order for me to pay this whole bill up front I was going to have to forgo buying groceries for my children and I would have to forgo my lupus medication and my fibromyalgia medication and my migraine medication. One of the "men" told me if you can't handle your finances that's your fault, yes because I went and got sick just to screw up our finances... (eye roll) So at this point I told them isn't there a payment plan we can set up then he accused me of trying not to pay my bills. That's when my father in law came out and told them that what they were trying to charge us for the tow was ridiculous and the other guy told my f-i-l to go out and buy a $65.000 rollback then you can go and charge people what ever fees you want. see what I mean just out right rude. so if you can help it please do not do business with these people.
