From the beginning, Wayne and Roy showed up on time, were extremely reassuring and reasonable. They we're also patient. John, the project manager and his brother Charlie were on top of everything, managing the subcontractors, making sure all of the details were taken care of. The guys at Zefi Plumbing and TriCat Electric were top of the line as well. Even 5 months later, when we had a concern...they were right on top of it and resolved it right away. I would have posted this review sooner but we've just been really enjoying our new space. It's so well designed and perfect that I'm still amazed that we have that much space in our house. Noticed they respond to negative feedback by criticizing the customer. Had they done their job well, no one would be complaining. Gallegos was given the opportunity to rectify their mistake. They sent a smug employee, allegedly to remove and polish the stone, he only wanted to photograph the hot mess, then got in the company truck and left. They used up their good will, I would not trust them in our home again!

Back story - my father-in-law is a master carpenter and has high expectations of work to be done but can't do the physical labor himself any more. He met with Eddie and was super impressed by his vast knowledge, honesty and flexibility. My husband and I, who are by no means knowledgeable in this field, we're impressed by his kindness, design suggestions and professionalism. We both work from home and he and his crew took great concern with not disturbing us, were very clean and weren't bothered my beagle would bark "hello" to them every morning. They were clean, made helpful suggestions and were always so kind. Oh! They were also VERY reasonable! We got quoted more from Home Depot with less services. After we hired them, we realized that they had actually previously done work on our house with the previous owners! Jobs they did: sanded and painted 35 red oak cabinet doors to a beautiful white, add all our new handles back on, painted the frames/ bases of all our cabinets, laid new backsplash in a herringbone pattern, sanded and painted our wood fireplace, sanded and stained about 1400 sq ft of wood floors, sanded and stained/painted our stair case and spindles. Jobs we are already planning on contracting them for: Finish fencing in our backyard, finish the flooring and creating a sliding door in our laundry room. I also want to mention how tidy they tried to keep my house during all the work they did with paper, plastic etc. AND They did ALL THIS WORK in less than a month. I can't wait to hire them for our next home project because I'm so confident in their work - we aren't even asking anyone else for a quote!

Some of the projects he has completed in our home include painting the walls, laying tile, adding storage space in our attic, updating the master bath including replacing the shower and tiling. He also painted our 30-year-old oak kitchen cabinets, replacing some panels with glass inserts, installing soft-close rails on all the drawers and replacing the old pulls and hinges, making them look modern and stunning and saving us a ton of money -- we would have paid at least three times the amount Eddie charged to replace our old solid cabinets with ones of comparable quality. In July 2022, we finally accepted that we needed to spend serious $$$ on a comprehensive driveway and drainage project to protect our home. Numerous quotes from drainage and flood professionals were either epic town-scale projects, or tone-deaf installations of products we didn't need. Alex was recommended to me by a neighbor as WAY more than a paving guy. On our first meeting, I appreciated that he is a relaxed, clear-headed professional, who actually listened to my problems, and asked questions, rather than barrel into the answer he saw fit. We spent a few days exchanging emails and calls to determine a project that would resolve the problem, and meet our preferences. He ultimately devised an elegant solution that consisted of multiple stages of flood mitigation. We were most impressed at his pricing - as a general contractor with the right tools and skilled team members to hand, Alex could offer sensible pricing under one contract. As the final project was logically elegant and simple, he kept the total cost under control, without unnecessary additional equipment or destruction (one contractor had wanted to charge double Alex's final invoice just to rip up the lawn and install a completely redundant water tank). Alex's team all wear the same t-shirt uniform, they are tidy, polite, well presented and ALL of them knew the timeline and next steps - when I asked for an update, if Alex wasn't there, they could ALL provide an acceptable answer. When I commended him on this, he noted that he ONLY hires guys he trusts and works with regularly. The work was meticulous, clean and done to perfection - and I am a cynical obsessive compulsive. On completion, I noticed one of the edging stones was missing its cement - Alex was mortified by the oversight, and came out himself that evening to remedy. He kept me updated throughout the project, and was a pleasure to deal with, even sharing handouts on appropriate future care of the driveway and drainage system.
