Cozy bar with interesting concoctions. It was nice but average. Bartenders weren't friendly and we tried to engage them several times - briefly - as we sat at the bar. Drinks were definitely English, Victorian, or Medieval inspired. Several bourbon or dark drinks but none made with vodka spirits. Wine selection is vast. Edit after Gregory's response: Thank you for your response, and kind invitation back. We asked the two bartenders if there were any special vodka based drinks and they said no so we didn't know there were. We will come back in the next few weeks and try them, and update the review afterward. Thank you!

Great spot for a holiday pop up. So many cute and interesting drinks for the holidays all $12 each. You can also purchase bottles of wine on the other side of the bar. Eclectic spot in Victorian Village!

The Bottle Shop has created a fun holiday pop up bar called Ebenezer's. We loved the decor, especially all the fun candles hanging from the ceiling. Their cocktail list is super unique and some even have dates of when they were created, back to the early 1900's. The drinks are made with care and were wonderfully crafted. Along with the bar they have a huge selection of beer and wine for purchase.

Stopped here after dinner at a restaurant two doors down to grab some wine. We thought it was just a wine shop with an outdoor patio. Oh no, no, no! Was surprised that the interior is split in half. The right side is wine/beer shop and the left is the wine bar... lit with twinkle light and very soft lighting. Very intimate. They had don a pop up Ebenezer Bar for Christmas and had a Christmas movie playing on a large movie screen. Had not every seat been taken we would of stayed and enjoyed wine. Instead we dashed home, making a note to definitely return and make this a date nite destination!

Treat your palette to some upscale drinks at The Bottle Shop. One side is a wine shop and the other serves an eclectic drink menu. Ordinary drinks are not to be found just like ordinary taste buds won't be awakened. This place is what dreams are made of. The venue isn't large and can get crowded but the staff work quick and efficiently. The wait was not long because of this and a good time was had by all. The ambiance is casual chic while still being a laidback spot that doesn't take itself too seriously. Tips to make your visit a success: 1) Welcome the extraordinary. Their menu won't have your typical drinks that you can find just anywhere. They can probably make it for you but why waste the experience when you can try something extraordinary off the menu. 2) Perfect for meetups or before or after dinner cocktails. I must confess we had both before and after dinner cocktails here and we didn't regret it one bit. They are open late for a nightcap. Make your way to The Bottle Shop for a bottle a drink or to just hang out. This place has little bit of everything and it's all great!!

Drinks Clockwise starting with the top center: Oscar's agua, watermelon frosé, twentieth century, espresso martini.

If you like fun, imaginitive cocktails then you have to try the bottle shop! They have the best happy hour in the city and the cocktail list has fun variations on classics, wild new cocktails and crowd pleasers like their espresso martini. The bartenders are awesome, craft cocktails take time and they do a great job! Love this place! Definitely recommend the 20th Century cocktail, it's like a lemon cake with chocolate icing!

This is a quaint wine shop attached to a currently inactive wine bar. While I've only been to grab a bottle from time to time, I love the location and will definitely return whenever that section of the business opens up again. The patio is truly a vibe and on September nights like these, I can see it being a big hit. While the wine options are limited and not the cheapest you can find, they do have a nicely curated selection including a few cheapo bottles from back in my college days. Most recently I stopped by before wine night with a couple friends and I grabbed two red wines for about thirty five bucks. One of the wines I chose I absolutely loved and the other is waiting to be sipped on next weekend. To wrap this up, the staff was friendly and wearing masks. They were also cleaning pens for signing and limiting the number of people allowed in at a time since it's a rather small space. Definitely scoop up a bottle if you're nearby and looking to support local!

Their cocktail program always impresses me and continues to change regularly. The bartenders are friendly and always willing to discuss their latest concoction. They have a great store to purchase beverages with a very unique selection. They have a great patio with food truck and an eclectic interior for great conversation. Truly one of the best cocktail programs in the greater Columbus area. The Mumbai Masala and Wayward Women are favorites off the current menu.

Always have a great time at Bottle Shop! Cocktails are great and I'm really loving the RayRays food truck that recently started parking there. Employees are super friendly, especially the guy that works in the wine section. Lots of seating and their patio is great!

Im not sure if its possible for me to say enough good things about this bar. Super laid back with bohemian vibes and the friendliest bar staff. The cocktail menu is solid with a wide range of cocktail options and most of them look like something you would want to drink which I don't always find. I tried their: Thyme and Punishment -kumquat liquor, thyme syrup, carrot, ginger, and tumeric and Trapped in Paradise - Hennessy vs Cognac with muddled banana, passion fruit, and pear spice syrup ***Both of these were mind-blowingly delicious. An absolute must try. So complex, delicious and well balanced*** I'm devastated that this bar isn't in Cincinnati because i would totally be a regular and this is now a must-visit location anytime i visit Columbus

I love the fact that you can buy bottles of wine next to a great cocktail shop. The service was fast and it has great date ambiance.

It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.

The small cozy atmosphere was a delight to enjoy a wonderful meal and conversation. The drinks were exceptionally great and since I'm coming from California, very affordable. The food was delicious, especially the braised beef croquets, chicken friend mushrooms, whipped ricotta, and sourdough. The pork collar and the tare squash were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I requested the sommelier to recommend a wine that would compliment our order and the Domaine de Ferrand Chateauneuf - du- Pape a fine French wine from the Rhone Valley was our selection. This was a beautiful bottle and fine selection. John, our server was the perfect gentlemen and server with great personality and full of customer service.
