We came just before brunch ended on a Saturday. The atmosphere was chill and low-key. Our server checked on us almost immediately. They have an extensive brunch menu. I ordered the breakfast burrito--substantial and filled with barbacoa, hash browns, egg, sour cream, and cheese. My wife had the avocado eggs with a side of fruit. For drinks, I went with the Parsons North Cider, which complemented my meal perfectly. My wife ordered a Bloody Mary that she found outstanding--perfectly balanced between spicy and sweet. I like High Bank, and I love it for happy hour. My only (minor) complaint is that I feel like certain drinks and menu items are a few dollars more than I would anticipate (or hope). But their happy hour takes care of that - even on Saturdays from 3p - 6p which is a brilliant promotion. While there, I had the smoked old fashioned which was impeccable. Then I took a sharp turn into the realm of Tiki with the Jamaican Rum-centric Caribbean Flannel. It hit the spot. After those cocktails, I really needed the Sweet Corn Elote to deliver and it did. Recently came here for my birthday and had such a good experience! Right when I walked in, the hosts asked if it was my birthday and were super kind with their wishes. The inside itself is so nice and spacious. Next time I come I would definitely would want to sit on their patio. I got their blueberry basil drink and my boyfriend got an old fashioned. I usually really don't like the taste of whiskey, but there's is DELICIOUS. Salmon bowl was delicious as well and our server was super sweet. She also offered me free birthday donut holes which were warm and delicious. This is definitely going to be a Grandview go-to for me next year. read more

Ordered the pasta alla vodka. Overall, the pasta was just ok. I was very excited about it, especially after seeing how sauce-y and cheesy it was. But it was pretty bland to me - meh taste/flavor profile. The service was ok. We had a large group (~10) so things took a while - no surprise there. This place was SO good! We have a kiddo in the hospital here in Columbus but live in CA. We got a late start today and were craving brunch, but didn't want to have food regret by rushing or decision and ending up somewhere mid. We came in and right away knew we wanted the deviled eggs, Barbacoa breakfast burrito, and the berry compote pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious!! Like I want to come back and try more! The food options allow you to eat either healthy or let you splurge away on your calories. We ordered the Hi-C vodka cocktail, and the brunch cocktail. I ordered the omelette special of the day, which had chicken, cheese, bell peppers, mushroom, and mozzarella cheese. It came with a side salad with vinaigrette. I tried this High bank location a couple of times. My personal favorite is their spicy dipped chicken sandwich and the Brussels sprouts. Tried the margherita pizza for the first time and I would say not worth it. But their chicken wings and sandwiches are my go to. I would try more options but overall pretty good options and vibe. Our favorite stop downtown before hockey games! The service is quick and they have a lot of light options. Our table had sweet corn dip, (the chips are a little more on the oily side), the deviled eggs with crunchy pickles, fish and chips with carrots, and the grilled cheese with tomato bisque. Stopped in for brunch and once again had a wonderful experience. Gretchen was an amazing server and took such great care of us. There are a couple brunch specific cocktails but the full drink menu is available as well. The Apricot spritz was very light but also very tasty. I went here for a small networking event. We ended up being there during happy hour (1/2 off cocktails) and tried a bunch (we were walking home). I liked the rose cooker, though the old fashion was nice too. For food, the meatballs were fantastic, and the chips that came with the pimento dip were homemade. The honey chipotle hummus was a bit sweet but also good. The service was great especially with it being do busy. Our waiter refilled the water decanters multiple times without being asked. This is a HAPPY HOUR STAPLE! My friends and I love coming here and getting some delicious drinks and tasty treats! The bartenders are so sweet and they love experimenting with new flavors with the cocktails. Get to know your bartenders they are some of the coolest people you will ever meet. We got a Smoked Old Fashion, End of Anxiety and 2 bartender specials. All were unique in their own way. Warning: the Smoked Old Fashion is BOOZEY. Definitely designate a driver for that one. Came here to meet some family. So it was a suggestion by them. It's a cute place. Pretty big. Has an inside space that is open and a nice looking patio. The distillery has a nice array of alcohol. They also have a good amount of craft specials with their liquor. We did not eat any food. So I cannot comment on the food. Looked good but we did not eat just drank. We were lucky and just hit Happy Hour. So good timing! We got some banana rum and coke, the banana slide drink. Both good. Then a regular rum and coke and a few beers from the beer list. Then we just hung out. Server was nice. She checked in a few times. It's a big space so when crowded it can be loud. They have the prerequisite TV's with sports. Prices are around $12 or so. The night we went was their 7 year anniversary so there was a drink special so all cocktails were $7! It was packed but we had a reservation and got in right when we walked in. We had the bread for an appetizer the portion was large definitely shareable. For dinner we got the biscuits and gravy (eh - don't know that we would get again) and the spicy chicken sandwich ( YUM!!! So good. Definitely would get again). However we noticed that a group of 2 was seated before us and we had definitely been there before them and had the same party size.
