This place was SO good! We have a kiddo in the hospital here in Columbus but live in CA. We got a late start today and were craving brunch, but didn't want to have food regret by rushing or decision and ending up somewhere mid. We came in and right away knew we wanted the deviled eggs, Barbacoa breakfast burrito, and the berry compote pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious!! Like I want to come back and try more! Service was spot on! Our server was so friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Our food came fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are lots of sports games on lots of TVs throughout, so a great place to catch an event.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool open concept with the distillery itself visible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outdoor seating available as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Be aware parking lot is real small, so allow extra time in case you need street parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seems to be dog friendly also.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Really enjoyed my experience here. It was very easy to make a lunch reservation for a party of 10. The staff called the day before and confirmed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They gave us the perfect spot for a discussion and our server was very friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our food came out delicious. Great portion sizes. Great drinks.

The service was excellent. The food was very good. The spicy chicken sandwich had the right amount of spice. The side Caesar salad had fresh lettuce and the right amount of dressing.

Pasta alla Vodka

It's been a while since I've dined at this location. The menu has changed quite a bit -some staples remain (like the pepperoni and honey pizza). Attended for a work event. Ordered the pasta alla vodka. Overall, the pasta was just ok. I was very excited about it, especially after seeing how sauce-y and cheesy it was. But it was pretty bland to me - meh taste/flavor profile. The service was ok. We had a large group (~10) so things took a while - no surprise there. Overall, I still believe this is a great spot for cocktails/drinks and brunch. Lunch/dinner - not so much.

I absolutely love High Bank; everything about it is great! They have incredible drinks, with fantastic spirits they distill themselves; their food, both the standard menu & brunch menu, is delicious no matter what you get; the service is friendly & quick, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibes here are perfect![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is an ideal spot for a date night, a meal with friends or even a night out with the family![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I most recently went to High Bank on a Wednesday, & had to get their weekly wing deal; the Gochujang flavor made extra crispy was definitely a move! The Purple Reign looked amazing & tasted even better! Everything we had was delicious as always, & I can't wait to come back in real soon!

My husband and I came here for brunch. Whoever is in charge of the food and drink menu deserves an award. A+ job! The food options allow you to eat either healthy or let you splurge away on your calories. We ordered the Hi-C vodka cocktail, and the brunch cocktail. I ordered the omelette special of the day, which had chicken, cheese, bell peppers, mushroom, and mozzarella cheese. It came with a side salad with vinaigrette. My husband ordered the egg cheese and bacon sandwich. Both were delicious but the egg sandwich was our favorite! They also offer distillery flights. If you're into sports, there are tons of tvs in every direction.

I tried this High bank location a couple of times. My personal favorite is their spicy dipped chicken sandwich and the Brussels sprouts. Tried the margherita pizza for the first time and I would say not worth it. But their chicken wings and sandwiches are my go to. I would try more options but overall pretty good options and vibe. The service is quick and the servers are very friendly. I really like the part where you can see the distillery part in the end.

Pepperoni & Hot Honey**
Jana N.

Summary, service and dessert was 5 stars. Atmosphere was a normal open feel modern rustic brewery. Food lacked a lot of flavor. Ordered their hot honey chicken & biscuits due to diners dives and drive ins. Gravy had no flavor, chicken had been in fryer a bit too long. Extremely disappointed. Also tried their hot honey pizza, similar experience with not a lot of flavor. I would come back for their service, dessert and beer. For entrees I would go somewhere else.

Deviled Eggs

Our favorite stop downtown before hockey games! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service is quick and they have a lot of light options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our table had sweet corn dip, (the chips are a little more on the oily side), the deviled eggs with crunchy pickles, fish and chips with carrots, and the grilled cheese with tomato bisque. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside has lots of seating and a large bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can also view their distillery area behind the glass in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Stopped in for brunch and once again had a wonderful experience. Gretchen was an amazing server and took such great care of us. There are a couple brunch specific cocktails but the full drink menu is available as well. The Apricot spritz was very light but also very tasty. The food menu has some breakfast items and some lunch so everyone should be able to find something to enjoy. I had to order the grilled cheese and tomato soup, its my fav! We also tried the hot honey and biscuits which was nice and had just a bit of the heat from the hot honey.

DDD was here!

This place was amazing! It was packed so we had to sit at the bar and wait. We got deviled eggs which were good and I love the side of pickles. We also got the pulled pork nachos which just had a shit ton of goodness on top. Also got some Brussels sprouts which is going to be a must each time!

Second visit here. This time we sat at the bar for drinks since we ate lunch elsewhere. Hubby enjoyed sampling several bourbons. I tried their Banana Stand that comes in a Kahiki-looking mug. Very delicious. Mom sampled a mocktail mule and mocktail espresso martini. She liked the coffee drink.

The tour is informative and fun; our guide made it entertaining and included tastings at the end. I had the chicken gyro with crispy fries and fry sauce. The gyro was full of flavor, fresh and a little messy. The staff were fabulous especially on a busy Friday night. Reservations are suggested!

Another excellent experience here!…read more Stopped in here last weekend to celebrate my birthday. We were seated quickly, and our waitress Amelia took great care of us. She was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was still buzzing well until the evening; it's a great mixture of upscale and trendy, but not overly stuffy. Food was delicious. I had the barbecue pork ribs with the coleslaw which I've had in the past. The ribs just fall off the bone. The cheese biscuit skillet is also delicious. This is a must stop if you're in Columbus, truly a local gem!

Our plan was to get to the restaurant 45 min early to have a drink at the bar before our reservation. We arrived and were told that the bar was also on a waiting list to sit down and it wasn't first come first served; even the tables in the bar area. So we out our name in for the bar, and waited. We waited over an hour. In this hour, we saw the same hostess that told us we needed to wait for a seat at the bar/bar table tell another couple they could sit at the open table. When I asked her about it, she said "oh sorry, your table will be ready soon." This was pretty disappointing. We finally sat in the back room about 30 min after our scheduled reservation and never got a drink at the bar. Dinner was good. The rolls were great. We might return, but were pretty turned off by the bar situation.

I really, really, really love the drink menu of the Alibi. Like, a lot. Their visual chart is a…read moregodsend for cocktail explorers, and all of the drinks came out delicious and exactly as described. It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.

Way too much but the wings were edible... and that's where edibility ends! The tofu with peanut sauce sounded good to me, but I swear they took a whole block of tofu and cooked it as one piece. The exterior was bland which meant the inner depths of said tofu was even blander. How do you make peanut sauce bland? The drinks had to be good, right? After all, they're also a distillery with their own craft whiskey. Nope... Epic Fail on the blandest old fashioned in Ohio (I'm guessing). If they're trying to showcase their whiskey... maybe they shouldn't. Just really not a fan. Other Old Fashioned fans in the dining party weren't impressed either. The margarita wasn't much better either. What about a refreshing peach dessert? I'll give you 3 guesses and they all start with B! You guessed it, so flavorless and the pound cake was dry! It was even dry if you were calling it a biscuit. If you're going to serve this, then maybe a peachy sauce to cut through the dryness. Oh, the description promises that, but it did not deliver on those bourbon macerated peaches by any means. Even Bowser would send this peach back! TLDR: Bland food, Bland drinks, Dry Bland Cake, and Bland Drinks (a no-no for a distillery themed place). So many other great restaurants in Columbus, but this is a pass from me.

Was able to split the Caesar salad, in which the dressing was more mellow and less acidic than typical Caesar dressing, but was accompanied with a charred lemon wedge to add however much acid your heart desires! The crispy potatoes albeit fried were extremely light, and the aioli complements well the shaved cheese placed on top. Then came the burger, with the fries being extremely crispy and perfectly seasoned. The burger was very good as well, but I could do without the mushrooms added. It is a wet burger as well due to the mornay instead of a typical slice of cheese that just sticks to the burger. Most importantly, the cocktails are FANTASTIC as always. A seasonal menu always gets created, with the staples of course always available, typically using their own products within.

The place is not big and they usually have large parties coming in, thus fills the space quickly. We started with Tofu chicharron which we were expecting to be crispy - because chicharron means 'crackling pork rinds' but these Tofu were soft a lil disappointed there. We tried the pork sisig, it was okay. It has this mayo topping and there's an overpowering taste of ginger which is not typical of sisig. We enjoyed the grilled pork belly though, marinated enough and it's complimented with soy vinegar dip. The pancit on the other hand was very greasy. The oil was pooling at the bottom of the bowl. Taste was was just okay. It has way too many chinese sausage in it. We completed our meal with Ube Carioca, it is this chewy rice cake that is deep fried with glazed sweetness & that was okay as well. We wanted the mango sago, however they were out.
