As I was paying by credit card, I had the opportunity to speak with Maria directly. She asked about allergies and preferences. Thankfully neither of us have any food allergies and because of that, I didn't want to limit her creativity by choosing any preferences. I wanted her to know that she had complete creative licence and mentioned my love for blue cheese so even that would be welcomed... you know, on the off-chance she may have some laying around.
