Recommended! The dessert (pistacho cake) isnt all that sweet and def a work of art to admire. Croissant isnt oily but still remains that croissant structure and taste. Lots of seating area. They have multiple locations but the ossington location is large with many seating options. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. Toronto's most luxurious dessert spot for a reason! Love this place. The service is always so professional and warm that it makes you come back for more. The sweet treats are an absolute delight to look at and tastes incredible. I tried their pistachio crumble and vanilla tiramisu and both of them were out of this world! Personal favourite was the pistachio one. Also tried their coffee and it was pretty good. Gotta try the macaroons next time. And I loved the dark aesthetic inside the cafe! read more

This is one of those situations where luxury doesn't necessarily mean good or tasty. We got 2 macarons and a pistachio pastry. The macarons were terrible, super dry, and didn't have a lot of filling. The pistachio pastry was good, but not good enough to bring up my rating. read more

Although I was impressed by the store's fancy looks and an elegant presentation of the cakes when walked in, later on, I felt that the actual tastes did not match the appearances - and the price. My review may be severe, but I am considering the balance between what I got & what I paid for. (most individual cakes were $10-12 range) Fraise: Good - with different fraise profiles, fresh berries, strawberry flavored custard inside and strawberry jerry on top. The flavors matched with the vanilla Babaroa. However, the sponge base was too squishy to support the soft elements on the above. The base may be better to have more distinct crunchy or crumby texture to better harmonize the whole. Mango: Sophisticated looking, but lacks the main mango flavor overall. It has cocoa flavor crunchy base, but once the mango mousse and the base are in the mouth, the cocoa flavor overpowers and kills the rest of the flavor. They do not match. The mousse texture was also a bit too hard. When I ate mousse itself, I did feel mango flavor - it was too subtle. Passion Fruit Cheesecake: The thicker and crumbly biscuit base gave a good balance and texture to this cake. But the cheesecake itself did not have enough Passion Fruit flavor. It had passion fruit's petal on it for the appearance, but I wanted to "taste" the actual passion fruits punch. Chocolate Raspberry: This one uses the same cocoa biscuit base as Mango cake. For this cake, the cocoa base went very well with the ingredient on top of it. But I wanted more texture on the actual chocolate cake part. Disappointed when I found that the raspberry flavor in the center was just a hard jerry with no raspberry seeds texture. Over all, texture is monotone, but the chocolate flavor was pronounced. Plain croissant: holding it is light, and the beautifully shaped. thin layer of crispy sugary sweet on top. But when splitting it, I found that this airiness is coming from actual air/void. Meaning, lack of layers, just a giant air pocket inside. I wanted more buttery flavor. The thin layer of sweetness may be nice to many people, but I look for a nice balance of buttery flavor and lightness. Tasty for sure, but it was not what I was looking for. Overall, each item was above average for sure, but did not worth the price I paid for. Their looks may attract attentions, so will be suited to impress others with flashiness at a gathering. read more

The desserts are a work of art. Most range from $8-10/piece. Some looked too pretty to eat! Had the cappuccino and it was good. The aesthetics of this place are unique. Dark walls & minimalist decor around. Several seats available. The menu included hot beer faces, glazed cakes, and pastry's. Really enjoyed spending the afternoon here. Came to Delysees after seeing their beautiful but affordable desserts (on par with other patisseries in Toronto) on Google. Their desserts really look like a piece of art on their own. There are so many different flavours and you are sure to find something you like. I got the Ultimate Pistachio Sphere which is filled with pistachio mousse and vanilla sponge cake topped with roasted pistachios and a chocolate button on a shortbread cookie. As a pistachio lover, I was blown away by the richness of the pistachio! I loved it so much and I would totally eat it again. I also got to try the matcha cake shaped as a rose and it had a strong matcha mousse. So creamy! The sweet and salted caramel macaron was delicious but nothing too special. The macaron shell did crumble but this did not affect how much I enjoyed it. Service was great and the entire staff (including the owner) were all very welcoming. We would definitely return to try out their other desserts. Such a great experience! read more

Very classy place to grab artful patisseries. They carry macarons, full cakes, and smaller single-size cakes and tarts. If you're in need of a last minute cake for a birthday, they had lots in refrigerated cases. I saw a lot of the trendy smash heart cakes in interesting flavours like mango. I wound up getting 2 smaller desserts. One was the nutella dome and the other was the 3-tier chocolate cake. Each dessert was $10. I gave each of them to different parties and the verdict was unanimous - too expensive for what it was! Definitely very pretty and would make a great Insta photo but in terms of taste, nothing to write home about. read more

Yummy treats and excellent service. The staff working here gave us in depth details and best sellers. Go qith the staffs pickings. We chose 10 items all were golden. Coffee pairs very well with the desserts. Would def come back again. The store is very busy but everyone had common courtesy which made the experience simply perfection A+++++. read more

I am a big big dessert person. I love sweets and everyone knows it. We stopped by this little store on our last day in Canada right before going to the airport. I ordered the Ferrera Rocha cake and I loved it! It was so good and really did taste like a Ferrera Rocha. The pistachio cake was good too. My bf loved the strawberry cake and the lemon tart was so tart! I also got a latte and the bf had an espresso flambe. The most expensive thing we ordered was that espresso flambe! But the bf said it was really good and he enjoyed it. Each of the pastry ranged from around $11 - $13 CAD. The coffee drinks were around $5 - $7 CAD. I also thought service here was great. The girls before the pastry counters were so sweet and friendly. They were nice and chit chatted with us. I also like the ambiance of this little dessert shop. It's modern but chic inside. Overall, great way for me to end a trip to Canada! With some yummy desserts. read more

The cafe is trendy and newer to the ossington area. It is intimate with some limited seating but has a very casual vibe. Perfect to grab a dessert or some coffee on the weekend during a stroll in the area. The puff pastry is very flaky and enjoyable. It is filled subtley with lemon curd. If you want something filled more then this may not be the item for you since it is a bit underfilled. But it helps you appreciate the pastry more. I love pistachio as a flavor and the pastry is very creamy, has an excellent distinctly pistachio flavor that is nutty and fresh. There is a dense bottom that tastes like a sable possibly. Gives the baked good a nice crunch. Would come again for sure. Very parisian while maintaining the chill relaxed vibe of ossington area. Perfect dessert spot for those shopping on the Ossington Strip. I was blown away by the confectionary artistry. There are a zillion types of macaroons and chocolates that are colourful enough to be in an art exhibit on their own. Super friendly staff and large open airy space. Newly opened as of September 2021 and I heard they will be adding in door seating soon! The macaroons are absolutely divine and at $3 each, they are a perfect "You're living your best life" treat. I had their box of 7 mix individual cakes and it was the best way to sample the many different cakes they had! It was a package of their most popular cakes, and I must say... YUMMMYYY Overall, the mousse cakes were VERY SMOOTH! They were all SUPER FLAVOURFUL, especially the fruity ones, they pack a punch. The chocolate cakes were rich and aromatic. Review is only for Opera cake (haven't tried their other stuff and don't intend to sadly after this experience). The opera is a classic French cake that unfortunately was not executed well here. The layers were all unequal (some layers of cake were thick while other layers of cream were thin and thick elsewhere). The top layer of dark chocolate couverture ganache was tasty but applied also unevenly and had light gaps of coverage in places. Overall it wasn't a smooth covering on the cake and it looked unprofessional as a result. Lastly, the cake layer itself tasted like a basic vanilla chiffon cake with a similar consistency. Didn't really have much almond flavour to it as it should. Overall not impressed with the quality or craftsmanship. Taste was so so but could have been less sweet and more intensely coffee - chocolate. For the price it wasn't amazing read more

The chocolate eclairs with macarons was decadent and luscious. We also had the chouquettes ( small pate au choux) and chocolate Rocher dessert, creamy and elegant. Only thing is I wish there was more of a crunch with the hazelnut "rocher" concept. This is their production facility and I look forward to seeing their cafe open soon!! read more

I knew the king location which was ok in my memory, nothing more, and is now closed. This new one is top and woa way above. Classy with professional and very courteous and smiling staff ( so rare nowadays in all those high ranked places....). You really feel welcome and want to thus buy all those cakes, more than you should. Pastry chiefs are obviously experts, artists and everything looks so good... i tasted several macarons and 5 different cakes... relatively expensive (not more than expected or other places in the same specialty though) but very good... sad now that i do not live closeby and will not be able to return as soon i d like to. read more

I ordered online a large Wildberry cake last Wednesday at Ossington location to my dad on his birthday .The cake display was nice, but the time for delivery was supposed to be at 11:30a.m., but they kept on dragging delay time for 3 hours. My dad stayed home and waited for the cake for hours and he had to cancel his lunch reservation. I am disappointed because of their delivery time arrangement. read more

I had to chase them down just to get a refund. When I asked for a goodwill gesture, they ignored me. My partner called and emailed--only silence and empty promises. They took her number and then disappeared. Their "by a mother, for mothers" branding is a sick joke. They showed zero empathy or decency when it mattered most. Their silence was cruel and unforgivable. This isn't a business--it's a heartless, soulless operation. Avoid them.

There was only one person when I stopped by, popped in to grab a quick little treat for a coworker's birthday. The one girl working didn't acknowledge me at all until she had no other choice, not a simple "I'll be with you in a second" or even a glance/nod over. Vibes were very off. Also she was the slowest mover I've ever seen, it felt like all her movements were in slow-mo from wrapping, packaging the processing payment. I've literally never seen a human worker move at that pace. Even after the other customer wrapped up and left it took her at least another minute before looking up at me. When I picked my item, again... she was moving at a pace where natural selection would've definitely taken her out. Not sure what was going on but it was weird. The air was stiff as there wasn't any customer service, kindness or even welcoming in the store. And the audacity of the machine to ask for a tip???? For what? Packing up a pastry at a snails pace? Tipping culture has really gotten out of hand. Grabbed my item and left, with no intent of ever returning if I'm paying premium prices for pastries, there are much better, friendlier and QUICKER places to go to. +1 star for the pretty pastry.

The Cake slice was Raspberry and Pistachio, and not sure if this piece was old but it was very very dry and crumbly when I was expecting something more moist and spongy.
