Most rude, abrasive, and dismissive doctor I have ever been seen by. And with a cataract surgery at…read moreage 6, multiple optometrists and ophthalmologists over my life to now.at age 30, and much eye therapy under my belt, that is saying a lot. I am flabbergasted at the lack of time, care or concern given to my questions and concerns by Dr. McHenry and his techs. The doctor spends very little time with you, does not explain anything he is doing or what it means for your vision, and then expects you to just follow along without questions. That is not ok. I don't appreciate the fact the technicians "assigned to me" (this practice makes a big deal about that bulls*%#, instead of having the doctor be an active part of the examination process) rushed through checking my vision in regards to my prescription and I don't have confidence my prescription is correct. Very little of this process is handled by Dr. McHenry himself. This process is maintained to crank through more patients for more money. Sure does not help that the tests they make you do are rushed through, the results from the tests are not explained to you in depth, and the techs can not explain the results to you, as they aren't allowed by Dr McHenry. And with how little time Dr. McHenry spends with you, paired with the fact most of the talking he does in the room is to his own technicians and not even to the patient, good luck getting any explanation directly from him. Not! They act like info about a patient's personal health is a proprietary secret, even to that patient! Never been treated like that in my life. The equipment is dilapidated and falling apart. It's not even clean! It's grody and disgusting! The equipment they used to check my prescription change they had to assembled and significantly adjust before they could even use it. Everywhere else I go the equipment is clean, well maintained, and ready to go. They could not even got an eye convergence test to work on me that involves looking through 2 lenses on a machine and converging a picture of a lion with a cage. They could not angle the eye pieces correctly! They brushed off the exercise after a short time with no explanation as to why. Guess I "failed". I have had 2 craniotomy surgeries requiring referral to this "doctor" for clearance. He wears a mask and mumbles so good luck understanding him. He breathes heavily as he is quite heavy set. Might hep if he was more active with his patient's examinations instead of sitting on his butt in between running in and out of each patient room only to mumble a few words. The rooms are also very noisy with fans and AC. A tech said this is intentional to be intentionally loud (so others can't hear outside). Hint: You can't even hear the doctor in the same room without either a. Being close to the doctor (hell, he doesn't like that, don't push it with him) or b. Asking him multiple times to repeat himself (if he hasn't left the room already before you have a chance to finish asking) This is an eye doctor. Not an interrogation. I would appreciate being able to have a conversation with the doctor evaluating me. I would appreciate the ability to ask questions and have concerns addressed in meaningful detail without being rushed and brushed off. They attempted to charge me with a prism with no explanation or evidence it would help my vision. They would not clear me to drive and expected me to just sit around for a month until the next follow up. Perhaps a few exercises will help. 1 I can't even do, And the doctor would not clarify or provide meaningful help to correct the treatment plan. Life doesn't magically stop for a month. Sorry! They would not listen to me that my vision has improved since my second procedure at a second follow up visit with their practice. The techs (not Dr McHenry) dilated my eyes for no reason and did not offer temp throw away sunglasses. Worst eye doctor ever!! Avoid Dr McHenry if you can. I'm sorry if you share the same bad experience I did. I wish I would have seen the Google reviews before considering an appointment. Good day!

Very friendly place. Shout out to Mrush, Izzy and Britney!…read more Now the doctor is straight forward so don't go thinking you are getting a sympathetic enabler. He does his job and does it well. Great staff!
