When I was in the ICU at Sunrise Hospital, my mom and grandma toured other locations, but ended up choosing this location because of Debbie! Her heartwarming and friendly personality made them feel welcome. I was definitely nervous about going to a new place with new people. However, after being here for 10 days so far, I absolutely love it here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming here. All of the doctors, nurses, RTs, CNAs, therapists, etc. are all so kind and are all generally concerned about my health and getting me back up on my feet. I would like to especially thank: Debbie, Jazell, Terra, Elizabeth, Gary, Rob, Craig, Nikki, Molly, Bernie, Marvin, June, Annette, Garrett, Janet, and more but l can't remember their names sorry! They really helped me a lot and I loved talking to them. I have bad anxiety, especially at night, and they always reassured me that everything is okay and that I will be out as soon as possible. I always look forward to therapy here because they're all encouraging me to push myself so I can recover faster. It's very home-like here! We're allowed to roam around the lobby and even outside for fresh air! My family can come visit whenever and we can stay in the room, lobby, and outside. I wake up early to do therapy (I don't mind it, I love it) and the rest of the day I can do whatever. The staff comes in and checks on me as well. It may take awhile for staff to come in and help, but I understand because they're really busy! If I had to recommend a long term facility to anyone, I would definitely pick Kindred Hospital on Flamingo! Debbie is the reason why my mom and grandma picked this long term facility to help me recover. When I was in the ICU at Sunrise Hospital, my mom and grandma toured other locations, but ended up choosing this location because of Debbie! Her heartwarming and friendly personality made them feel welcome. She's so nice and caring. She always has a big smile on her face when she sees me and even gave me a coloring book and a journal to occupy myself. Debbie made sure that I was always safe and comfortable. She told me if I ever had a problem or concern to let her know right away. I consider Debbie as a third grandma. She's so sweet and hugs me. She would take her time to come to my room and visit me. Seeing her always makes my day! I can't thank Debbie enough of what she has done for me and my family. Debbie will always be with me and I will always think about her! Thank you Debbie for everything you did for me!!!

This is a very…read moreunorganized, unprofessional facility that seems to 'misplace' residents' personal belongings and tries to gaslight families into beliving that personal items were never in their facility to begin with! Back story - My loved one was a resident here for at least a month (from the middle of March 2026 until the middle/end of April 2026). Our family had brought some personal items to the facility to make our family member feel a bit more comfortable during their stay. Our family member fell ill 2 weeks ago and was transferred to a hospital before anyone in our family could get to the facility to see the family member or collect any of their belongings. Unfortunately our family member passed away in the beginning of May 2026 and when I went to the facility to pick up their items (on Friday May 1, 2026), I was told they couldn't find them. A representative from Life Care Center asked that I followed up with her coworker Cheyanne on the following business day Monday May 4, 2026. I called and left a message for Cheyanne on Monday the 4th, Tuesday the 5th, and Wednesday the 6th with NO CALL BACKS AT ALL. On Thursday the 7th, I went back to the facility to get the items or an answer to where they were located. I spoke to the original representative who tried helping me on Friday the 1st and was informed to reach out to the director of the facility. I emailed the director Nicole Smith-Delagdo, the executive director Jeffrey Minor, and the social service director Cheyanne Johnson (the same person that I left 3 messages for without a response) to try to get to the bottom of this situation. I finally received (an email) response from Cheyanne Johnson in which she / the facility informed me that there was 'no proof ' or record of any personal items being in their facility for my family member and they will not be reimbursing us for anything. My family is already going through a difficult time after our loss but to have the facility that was supposed to be taking care of our loved one AND their belongings to basically tell us that we are lying and nothing was left in their room as they were transported by ambulance to the hospital is beyond shameful!! Beware of this facility and their staff! Unprofessional is an understatement; unanswered messages, no straight answers, avoiding family members and their questions. . . .Best of luck to the employees who go through and take whatever they want from their residents' belongings (and/or toss the unwanted items in the trash). So nice to see that Life Care Center truly 'cares' for their residents. They obviously enjoy nothing more than making things more difficult for families along with causing more frustration and pain during already difficult times!

My clinician, Jill, was attentive and informative. The cooking staff was excellent as was the nurses. Now the negative. The case manager, Lynn, was unavailable and uninformed. She made assumptions and accusations and was a major trigger. The common areas were filthy, although the client rooms were tidy. The tech staff maintained poor moods and each didn't know what the other had said. The clients were in need of a greater level of care, leaving me to believe Vogue wasn't the right place for them. They appeared to be admitted for the money. Had I attended Vogue first I would have never returned. The outpatient services were far worse than inpatient. Again, just a money grab. The group therapy was lacking, the paperwork was incorrect, there was no support, i will complete my outpatient elsewhere. And I promise, if Vogue attempts to bill my insurance, they will be denied. I've never seen so many clients in tears. And if an attempt is made, an attorney will be called as I documented EVERYTHING. PLEASE DON'T PLACE YOURSELF OR YOUR LOVED ONES IN VOGUE

Out of the list of places she could go, this was rated the best. If you care about the person who comes here, know you need to be MORE on top of things than other places. My sister was diabetic. When i questioned her increased shakes (like parkinsons) i asked them to take her blood sugar especially since dinner was served. The nurse was like surprised and said, "so you want me to take her blood sugar?" I said yes since she is diabetic and you should be taking it multiple times a day before each meal. She replied that there is no where in her chart from the hosp or from the other skilled nursing facility. I said thats impossible since they take her blood sugar daily. She was a relatively new nurse though. So please make sure you go through all treatment plans with the nurses. My sister went without ANY insulin for 2 weeks!!! My sister particularly did not like the nurse Mirta. She was going to give my sister hydrolazine for high bp, but it should only be given if her bp is elevated. Before she gave it to her, i asked the nurse what was her blood pressure. She didn't recall but said she would look it up. She said she took her bp before i arrived.. i arrived 4 hours ago. She should have it taken it again before distributing meds. !! I was also told Mirta told others that my sister passed from another stroke.. reality was she aspirated from breakfast, and the external icd alarm alerted staff. What happened there? No idea. Did they sit her up before eating? Again no idea. so if you need to go here or anywhere for that matter, be involved in your loved one's care. Ask questions!
