I attended Abby's class and from the moment I arrived, she was so kind, even giving me a quick tour of the studio despite me being a little late (first timers are asked to come 15 minutes early). Abby's yoga sculpt class was fast paced, but she encouraged everyone to go at their own speed and make modifications as needed, which made it approachable. The showers and bathrooms were well maintained and clean. I'll definitely be incorporating this studio into my routine. read more

Visited this location a few times now and I love it! They have 2 studios, so more options to choose from! There's also street parking around the studio and a retail parking garage around the corner (across from QA Beer Hall). The amenities are really nice, the lockers have full showers and bathroom stalls for changing, and complimentary locks for the lockers. Sarah's C2 class is one of my favorites, she had us use straps (which I've never used in yoga before) to help practice the more challenging balance poses. Will definitely be back! read more

I took Khalid's C2 class this past Friday and it was amazing. He ended with a very peaceful metta meditation at the end of the class which was a very nice unexpected surprise. This studio has plenty of space and I definitely felt safe with their safety precautions for COVID. The studio room here is much bigger than the ones I go to in Los Angeles and the changing room is very clean and up to date. I am grateful for how easy it is to sign up and attend Core classes in other states-- as I will be visiting Seattle more often :) read more

I have came here a few times and mostly for the Yoga Sculpt class, which is my favorite class here and i can't find any similar one in other yoga studios. The class room is pretty spacious and the locker room is clean. If you are looking for something a bit more intense than Barre class, I'd highly recommend Yoga Sculpt class! read more

I love this studio! I just moved to Magnolia and did a bit of shopping for studios but I wish I would have just started here. I've recently gotten more into hot vinyasa yoga (my first yoga experience was Bikram) and this studio has been a great place for me to work on my flow. I started with CP1 to get my bearings, but I got bored after a few classes. It's pretty much the same sequence every class so it's really better if you're new to yoga, getting back into shape, or want a refresher to work on your form. Plus it's not heated, and I like the heat! I've been doing C2 ever since and it definitely is not repetitive. Every class has its own flow, with a core strengthening sequence (abs, back, or both) towards the middle-end of class. I'd say about 1/3-1/2 of the classes I've taken included dedicated time to work on inversions, though it seems like there's an option to do inversions in all classes. The instructors here are amazing. So far I've taken classes mostly from Natalie and Meredith, but I've also taken classes with Chelsea, Corey, and Michelle. Their energy is so infectious, and I have not found a single instructor I don't adore. Plus, as far as I know they all do hands-on adjustments which I really love (there's always an option to opt out if that isn't your thing). I've noticed that most, if not all, instructors tend to give you something to focus on during your practice, whether that's self love, balance, or compassion, and say a few words at the end. I try to set my own intentions before each class, but it's nice to have something to focus on during class and take with me afterward. One thing that I also really love is the facility itself. The studios are clean and new, and the locker rooms are huge. The last two studios I went to were so cramped and it's nice to not run into sweaty bodies when trying to leave class! I typically go to noon classes so I can't speak for evening ones, but the studio itself doesn't get too crowded which is really nice. I'm really glad I found this studio! It's the first time I've actually bought a monthly pass to a yoga studio and I think it's well worth it. They offer discounts for students, teachers, active military, and yogis over 55 which makes it an especially good deal. read more

Queen Anne CPY studio took classes towards the end of last year. Will not be going back. Instructor Lauren Golshan was arrogant, appears to lack knowledge about basic concepts about yoga, aggressive with her adjustments ( eventhough I had opted out ) causing pain and incapable of listening to feedback or acknowledging her mistakes. She did not apologize for the mistake and acted like nothing happened. I guess this is what you can expect when someone with absolutely no interest or foundation in yoga hurriedly does a quick teacher training and somehow starts teaching almost immediately without a proper supervised internship. read more

Just wanted to stop by and say that Hannah's Saturday classes (how does she manage 3!?) are a killer... hangover killer, that is. I started out with C2, but definitely only hit C3 if you practice regularly. Though my home base is Capitol Hill, I always love coming to CPLQA for its relaxed, community feel. There are two studios (CPCH has one) so they always make room for latecomers and never run out of blocks or mats. The teachers really take an interest in your practice and your work/life balance as well. Be on the lookout for events with CorePower, especially on holidays! Last summer my boyfriend and I went to a yoga sesh ON CenturyLink field, it was a class + soccer tickets for $30. A few of their events, like outdoor and candlelight, are complimentary with RSVP, and CPLQA frequently has vendors come in with samples, like Pressed Juicery. I think once you go, you'll feel part of the community immediately. Can't recommend it enough. read more

This is one of my favorite yoga places! Clean locker rooms...locker rooms period. Showers, bathrooms in the locker rooms...super helpful! Solid teaching quality all around and super friendly staff. I also love the variety of classes. The sculpt class is the most fun and it's more of a workout and the hot fusion class makes my joints feel wonderful! The C2 is probably the one I go to most though, I love the commitment to repeating a flow which allows me to really sync my breath and body! I wish that all the lockers had doors that locked and that there were more of them during the busy classes, which is a good problem for the studio to have since there are so many students! read more

PROS: 1. Literally everyone is ridiculously nice. Stupid nice. And good at what they do too! There's this one instructor, Matt, who somehow times his workouts to the beat of the music. Sick. 2. Facilities are new, clean and have a higher end feeling to them. 3. There's a goddamned clothing store inside. Need a new mat? No problem. Prices are similar to what you'd find online. 4. You get an insane workout. 5. The schedule is hyper-convenient. I love being able to easily find 10:30 or 4pm classes during the week. 6. Locations. Convenient to almost anyone in the Seattle area (other than South Seattle, but we know those people don't matter. j/k.) 7. Good music. Most of the instructors play indie electronic music. (Odesza, Beruit, Baths and Detz - heard some Moby a few times as well). 8. People remember my name. 9. Free parking. All the location seem to provide this. 10. Uniformity. Nearly the same experience no matter where you go. I can see how this could be a con as well, but I sold out a long time ago. Actually, I didn't sell out, I bought in. :P CON: 1. No West Seattle location. Yet. 2. Showers need more water pressure. 3. Some locations didn't have a men's hair dryer under the sink. 4. Your friends may try to shame you for giving your money to a large corporation 5. You may become a nicer person as a direct result of dealing with CPY employees. If you're looking to remain an insufferable prick, this place may not be for you. read more

This new Core Power Yoga studio is gorgeous! I'm talking pristine and fresh. I hope for their sake they sanitize daily to keep it looking that way. I've tried nearly every teacher (thanks Groupon) and they all seem knowledgeable. It's a phenomenal sweaty calorie blasting workout that's for sure. My only gripe...it's just TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE. I'm sorry Core Power but yoga is supposed to be relaxing and y'all are gonna give me a heart attack with these prices. I refuse to pay $20 per class Anywhere so for that reason, sadly, I will not be back. read more

LOVE!!! Gorgeous, clean, modern studio. Has the works if you forget something: hair ties, spray deodorant (REALLY IMPORTANT PEOPLE!!!), tampons, etc. I've had 3 different instructors so far, and Casey has been my favorite by far, but they've all been great. I come from a bikram yoga background and wasn't sure what to expect walking into hot yoga, but here are some observations if you're curious: bikram tells you to lie down facing the back wall. here it seems you can lie either facing front or back. it's not an intense quiet. students are friendly and talk to one another before and after class. they play some soft music in the background. it's overall less intense and less drill sergeanty. C1.5 has been great for me, I've been too chicken to try C2. I'm 3 classes in on the 1.5, so maybe I'll give 2 a whirl for my next run. Power Fusion is the closest class to bikram yoga if that's what you're looking for. It incorporates most of the poses minus tree, and the breathing techniques. the order sequence is also switched up and you don't hold your poses as long. I felt like it had more of a focus on your core too - this class kicked my @ss!!! in a good way of course :) i love the overall flow of the practice and best of all, your first week is free! read more

This place is my home!! I came here with a Groupon, not being a huge fan of hot yoga but the deal was too good to pass up, and now I'm a permanent member! They have two studios which means lots of different class times and types to fit your schedule. The studio is always clean and pristine. The teachers are enthusiastic, friendly, and make a point to welcome you to the community and get to know your name. They want to know your goals and encourage you to achieve them. You aren't just another faceless member. There is a parking garage behind the studio (part of the apartment complex) that has parking for CorePower, plus it's usually pretty easy to find street parking. ClassPass Review My favorite class is the C2. It's for intermediate and advanced, and I love that it gets hot. You WILL sweat ALL OVER, so bring a towel. What's awesome is that the studio is clean and the instructors are patient and friendly. I usually go to the Core Power back home in Los Angeles, so it's pretty cool to be able to go to different studios. (ClassPass baby!) If you're new to yoga, try the C1 and work your way up to C2. As someone who had only done one yoga class before, Corey was awesome. From the minute I walked in the door, I felt welcomed & comfortable. The location and amenities were great, very clean and light. As for the class, Coreytaught a great class (C2) that was very challenging. Great pace and use of breaks (i needed them). Went to a mid morning class & there were only about 7-8 people which was great, as it allowed me to stumble around without bumping into someone! Will def. be back to QA for future classes. So far I have taken two classes here a C1 and a C2 C1 is the beginners 'non heated' yoga. However it was quite warm and by no means a cool room which is what I have experienced in all other exercise classes. That being said. I loved it. The studios were clean and that staff was so kind and friendly to both me and my friend who were/are yoga newbies. The instructor took time to push me and help me get the poses correct. I was so happy with my first experience I'm pretty sure I was gushing to anyone who asked me how it went. C2 not for the faint of heart. I looked like I had gone for a walk in heavy rain. I wish I would have removed my make up and worn a sweatband to avoid sweat in the eyes. Again the instructor was kind and helped me find poses that I could do when it got too challenging. I never felt lost or hopeless even though I was challenged to the max. They gave me a week of free yoga and I used it three times. Twice here and once in a studio in Chicago. This Studio far exceeded the other studio and I am anxious to return home so I can come back to this Studio- yes I thought it was that good. Other pointers: Lock rental is a $1 deposit. So keep a dollar in your yoga bag. They come complete with a wrist band to keep it attached to you if that's your thing. Yoga mats are a $2 rental fee after your first time Water bottles are a $2 (a little over priced in my opinion) Hope this helps other newbies like me. I loved it hope you do too! read more

I cannot say enough good things about CorePower yoga!!. Coming from smaller studios, i was seriously retiscent about joining a corporate style yoga chain. Deciding to take advatage of the free week, i gave it a shot and was hooked. I have been going regularly 4-5 days a week ever since signing up and see changes in my mind body and spirit. I have not had a single yoga teacher i didnt like and everyone - i mean everyone - is warm, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel an integral part of the yoga community. I know that the teachers have a script they must stick to after class about promoting the programs, teacher trainings etc, but they genuinely love what they do and feel passionate about the programs they espouse. The studio is spotless, the teachers are amazing and the community vibe is strong. I recently became part of the Studio Experience Team where i clean for 1.5 hours a week thereby reducing my monthly dues to about $20 a month. The trade off is huge for me and just further validates the pride they take in the cleanliness of the studio. Not only that, but the way they treat the cleaners is amazing! I only clean 1.5 hours a week but i cant count how many people thank me for what i do showing genuine appreciation. The entire experience for me has been nothing but positive and has really made me want to take my yoga practice even further. One great thing about the classes is how everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace at whatever level they are at. After month of practice i have finally mastered crow pose :) If you ever wondered about taking a class here, take advantage of their free week- it really is worth it :) read more

I've been a CorePower junkie for years, so I was thrilled to see that Seattle has CPY locations! This is your standard corporate CPY location. There are a lot of classes and various times throughout the day. The teachers that I've met are all very welcoming and pleasant. I didn't give this studio five stars because I think that it could be cleaner. The mirrors in the yoga rooms have marks and prints on them, and the floor (at least in the front studio) is sticky. You touch the ground and your feet and hands kind of stick. I'm not sure if it dirty floors or from a film from the cleaning supplies. I will continue to go to this location, and I will continue to recommend CPY to all beginner and advanced yogis. read more

CPY gets the job done. They have nice, clean studios and a glutton of classes to choose from. C2 is your standard vinyasa flow, sculpt is a nice little weight/boot camp type class and Hot Power Fusion to cater to Bikram lovers. The only downside I've had is that the teachers are always changing and as soon as you fall in love with one they switch the schedule around. They're a yoga machine that's always popping out newbie teachers and some are better than others. With such a huge schedule though I guess that's the price you pay. Currently using my free week. I'm a class pass member as well and will most likely use the Core Power Yoga Option as well! This is great for beginners as they over a wide range of classes. I'm 35 and new to Yoga, but felt like I wasn't intimidated at all. Pro's: Changing rooms are nice, beauty products are substantial, clean, showers, and overall atmosphere. Con's: Motivation - it was kind of dreary and dead to the class I went to (beginners yoga 1). Noted that Yoga is supposed to be Zen, but there weren't a lot of people there and it killed the vibe. There were only 3 people in class. I'll be sure to check out other classes and update my review, but overall great facilities and had a great class despite the zen, or lack there of. read more

I had just started at the Queen Anne location and it's by far my favorite studio now. I'm so sore after my hour long workouts and I honestly can't even wait to go back the next day for more. I love the classes and everyone is so awesome and friendly, including the people that go. I would highly recommend it to a beginning or someone with more of an intermediate to advanced fitness level, which is where I stand. I never though I would get a great workout with yoga, but man was I wrong, my core is doing some work. I sleep better and feel more energy. You owe it yourself to try it at least once or twice, or just go everyday like I do ;) read more

Great yoga! This studio holds true what your may already know about CorePower studios; it was clean, pretty, had a wonderfully stocked retail area, locker room including showers and an amazing hot flow class. They have mats and towels available for rent which is helpful if you're visiting from out of town (but I wished I had packed my own sweat absorbing towel for the mat). Taylor worked the front desk then transitioned to teaching the class. She was very friendly and her class was amazing! I would give 5 stars for this place because the teachers are awesome and super nice! And they are worried about you and almost everyone knows your name. So if you are looking that descriptions you should come. My review is more about Core Power yoga corporation and not about CorePower yoga Queen Ann. My issues is with Core Power yoga corporation and the policy about the Black Membership, I'm losing 75 dolars this month and that's the reason I'm upset. I'm a international woman who has to travel outside of the country for two weeks or three weeks, for occasions like thanksgiving or Christmas. I go every day to yoga classes. So I called to the headquarters and their solution was that to freeze it the same day I got back from my trip because is the day they charge me, and my month out will be start while I'm back so that solution is not smart and clear. I think this policy is not flexible for the people who has this kind of trips. I have been practice yoga in different countries and is the first time I feel that this is more a business than Yoga place and that is sad. I'm not a Vinyasa trending girl , I look for a practice where I can connect my mine and body and spirit as well. read more

CorePower Yoga is my go-to place for the best body-mind-soul work out in Seattle. I frequent their studio in Capitol Hill but come down to the Queen Anne location every other week or so. This studio in particular is new and gorgeous, boasting two heated studios, pristine locker rooms, and a chic retail lobby. I take C2 or Hot Power Fusion every day, but really enjoy teachers Kai and Shelly at this studio. There is truly something here for anybody interested in yoga or simply in working out. read more
