Warning - Do not bring your jewelry to this place for repairs!!!! They are thieves!! I brought in my engagement ring to have an upgraded stone placed in my old setting. They shaved gold from my setting and made it thinner, and also gave me less sturdy prongs for my diamond. They tried to deny what they did, but I had the shank replaced elsewhere not long before , because another jeweler thinned it out. I also made the jeweler bring out the old prongs to compare. They did make the corrections after I fought with them, but it never should have had to fight to have my ring fixed in the first place. Please remember to: Have your jewelry formally appraised. Buy diamonds that are certified by GIA with a serial number engraved on your diamond, so it can't be switched . Bring your paperwork with you and review your diamond through the microscope yourself to confirm your laser etched serial number. read more

My husband and I have made purchases from Corinne since the early 2000's. Both inexpensive and more expensive pieces. Our first experience with Corinne involved my engagement ring, which was purchased from another jeweler. The ring on the bottom continued to break and the other store continued to try and repair the broken platinum ring with no luck. We finally brought it to Corinne for repair and from that point on (many years ago) I have never had any issues with the band breaking again. Which gives you peace of mind, in regards to a cherished and valuable piece. We have had other items repaired over the years and most recently my engagement ring soldered together with my two wedding bands. Essence was wonderful when handling this repair order, as well as a very small purchase I made the same day for my young daughter. I know the holidays are an exceptionally busy time at your store so I was not in any rush to get my rings within a certain time frame. At week three I did call and there was a tiny issue with the rings and the order. Essence called me back almost immediately and she resolved the small problem quickly and professionally. I had found a wedding ring that I loved, but the jewelry store near me was charging WAY more than they should have (which is sad because so many people are probably getting ripped off). I looked up different places that carried the ring / brand and Rachel was an angel throughout the entire process. Went in today, and very expensive. Beautiful jewelry and I probably would have purchased my wedding band there, however it took 20 min for someone to say hello to us and then they proceeded to tell us that they don't have any bands with diamonds for under 1k. Really... because I don't remember telling them what limit I was looking for.. ? I feel judged by my age, and the fact that my engagement ring was at the jewelers being dipped and having a stone replaced, made her further judge me. She inferred a few times that she thought I did not have a ring. I feel judged and if she was a better salesman I would have bought something or at least gave them four or five stars. I went to Corinne for an engagement ring.... The woman was very helpful and made me feel welcome. I ordered a ring that I loved and she gave me a price that I very much liked, but when the ring came in, she told me it was over $5,000 more than what she first told me and asked me "is that ok?" My reply was "how can that be ok?? I don't want it any longer" I was very very disappointed at that and will never go there again! The owner reached out to me almost immediately after my review with genuine concern, which made me feel much much better. He apologized saying it was an honest mistake on their part and if I came back in they would work their hardest to get me what I wanted. This is a mixed review, as this place is very beautiful and I've been here before to purchase a retirement gift for my co-worker and was previously helped by a very nice woman. However, today my boyfriend and I went in to look at engagement rings and I was left with such a bad taste in my mouth from a specific employee I almost wanted to immediately call when we left but decided to take my frustration out here instead. We were helped by a young woman who I personally felt was very snarky and condescending which baffled me. I told her we were very new at this and I felt she challenged me by asking me certain questions only to correct me with what I took as a "got ya" attitude. Again, very baffling and I just wanted to leave. I also didn't appreciate the scripted, rushed and confusing approach she took with us, it did not feel like a family-owned experience which from the other reviews I expected it to be (and am sure it might have been had we had a different employee I would still recommend this jeweler as I feel I was just plain unlucky today. We went in here over a year ago when we first starting looking at engagement rings. I didn't see anything in the case that bowled me over. But, nonetheless, the woman, Gigi I think her name was, was very helpful and professional. I came upon a ring at another jewelry store and ended up going with them only to have a horrible experience; felt like I was in the twilight zone dealing with that other place. When it came time to purchase our bands, I certainly wasn't going to go to the other place so we went here based on our initial experience. We were helped by Ryan and he was very easy to work with. He made a phone call to get the pricing on my matching band, was professional when I told him I was going to shop price at the store where we bought my engagement ring, at the same time he ordered my husband's band and treated us politely and professionally throughout. A few days later we received the call that the ring was in, went in to pick it up... the place was extremely busy and we had to wait a while, but that was just further evidence to me that people like to do business here. None of the other jewelry stores we had visited had any crowds. I was VERY happy with this jewelry store. I will certainly make this my go-to place, I'll price shop after I visit them, and then ask them to meet any better prices if necessary. I like to give my money for things I want to people who deserve it. PS - like the reviewers who felt they received poor service because of their appearance, I was concerned about that, too. While we look fairly mainstream, we were dressed in a roll-out-of-bed style the day we went in there because we hadn't planned on it that day, and I thought for sure we would be ignored or treated less favorably and we weren't looking like we had cash to dole out. They allowed an unsupervised unskilled amateur to damage my solid 14K gold watch when he changed the battery. To this day, I don't know how someone could put hundreds of scratches in gold purposely unless he was trying to scrape it off to sell it. The manager, Allyson, told me she would restore my watch. She lied. They polished the double rope bracelet and buffed out some of the scratches, but left the majority intact on the side. If they would have added some gold to cover all the scratches as Allyson promised, my watch would have been restored. But gold costs money and they are too greedy. So I'm left with a scratched up gold watch. If you cherish your jewelry, don't bring it to this place. read more

My fiance and I first went in to Corinne Jewelers last year to start looking at engagement rings, and were helped by GiGi. (Yes, it's a very busy place, but if you give them a few minutes they will accomodate you.) GiGi is SUCH a sweet person, and showed us some beautiful rings. While she was helping us look, my fiance happened to stumble upon a GORGEOUS designer brand engagement ring which I immediately fell in love with. It was a little expensive for what we were looking for, but the quality of the ring is outstanding and you get exactly what you pay for. We left without it, wanting to look around at other places to compare other rings, etc. After looking for several months elsewhere and not finding anything we liked, we saw on a billboard that Corinne was having an inventory sale and decided to stop in. It just so happens that ring was still there, and was HALF OFF! My fiance purchased it on the spot (after I left, of course) and a few months later, sat down again with GiGi and the owner and picked out a gorgeous diamond. He said it was a very nice experience, with the owner and GiGi showing him all sorts of diamonds of all types, teaching him about quality, color, cut, etc. He never once felt pressured or intimidated by anyone there, and was extremely pleased, as am I, with the quality of the ring, price, etc. They were SO nice when I went in to pick up insurance info and to get it resized (which they supply you with), and they're eager to see you come in and check your ring. My engagement ring was purchased at Corrine, a very pricey Hearts on Fire Diamond. After being divorced, I went to them for a recommendation on the best way to sell it. They recommended Ebay. After getting very low offers on an extremely expensive ring with a very high quality Diamond, I visited a friend who owns a very large, well known jewelry store about how to get the most for the ring. He said the best way to do it is to go back to the place it was purchased because they know how much you spent and should be willing to work with you to give you a good price being that things did not work out and they made a large profit on you. He recommended that if they gave a low offer for the ring, to ask how they can offer so little after charging me so much for it and the ring has appreciated since. He said that he works with his customers who's engagements/marriages don't work out to give them a fair value being that he profited off of it the first time. He said that I should ask for close to half of what was paid and he thought that would be fair and good customer service to keep a customer for the future. He said that it would be hard for a jeweler that did not make the sale to do this, but the jeweler that you purchased from should always be willing to understand your situation and work with you, knowing what the ring was purchased for and how much they profited. When I visited Corinne to tell them that I wanted to get a price to sell back to them, being that it was purchased there and they would be able to give me the best value, the manager explained to me that they have a contract with Hearts on Fire and part of the contract states that they are not allowed to sell used Hearts on Fire Diamonds b/c they are an authorized dealer to sell new only, therefore they do not buy back Hearts on Fire Diamonds, I could only receive an in store credit. (Their outside sign flashes "we buy diamonds") He gave me a very genuine sounding speech on how he would love to give me a good price on it and another jeweler definately could give me a good price, but unfortunately, their contract does not allow them. He even went on to name other jewelers I should try. Well I knew that was a lie so that he could avoid telling me that he could only offer me pennies for the ring they profited so much on so I decided to look into this and found this statement on the Hearts on Fire website "Reselling is often easiest through the jeweler who sold you the diamond in the first place." The Hearts on Fire website recommends you go back the the jeweler it was purchased at, but Corinne tells you that Hearts on Fire does not allow them to buy back and sell used Hearts on Fire Diamonds. Also, how is he able to take it in on a trade but not give cash for it, either way he has to resell it. This just goes to show the customer service Corinne offers its customers. They are a very dishonest jeweler who does not care about their customers or returned business. I walked into the store and was greeted right away by Patricia...I said I was looking for a 25th Anniv. ring, and thought I had an idea on what I wanted..She then introduced me to Allyson who asked me some questions, and started to direct me to some rings...As the store Manager/Designer, she spent much time with me, educating me, as I had almost thought of purchasing a ring at the local Mall, and thank goodness I didnt.. I never felt so comfortable and not pressured in the least. I also was just thinking about picking a ring, and that would be it, but its so funny because she watched my face when she showed me things and new what wasnt going to make me happy...Allyson told me she had an idea, and started putting rings together, and she certainly ended my search for a ring....I really liked a ring, and thought, "It looks like an engagement ring...she then again said, let me show you another option...I chose the beautiful Halo Ring, then she put two diamond bands on each side and That was it!!!! So beautiful, and she is going to make it all into one ring....Brought my husband in and he loved it also.....They ended my search, and I am happy I will have just what I wanted, and if I hadn't wandered in to the store, I probably would have just settled somewhere else, but I never found "the ring"... I use to go to a family owned Jewelery Store in Clifton , and I had the same feel when I went into Corinne.....They werent just trying to sell me a ring...they were truly wanting me to be happy with whatever I chose.
