You drive in and there's a small sign that directs you to the right for Big Sky Barn. There is someone outside directing you where to park - either in the small parking lot to the left or some spaces to the right. Ladies, there are a few rocks so be careful walking to the Chapel and the Big Barn with your heels! The Chapel was a decent size and you are met with amazing windows in the front that shows the green trees outside! Makes for an amazing backdrop to say your vows, though the lighting coming in may not be the best contrast for photos! I liked the beams and the rustic barn wood used to decorate the chapel - the only thing I saw wrong was the pews were not evenly spaced and you can move them back and forth so it may look a bit in disarray in photos. They should take the time to line them nicely prior to each event. The Big Barn was where the reception was next door. Fairly large, held a party of 100ish comfortably. The tables were decorated nicely with flowers and the combination of long wood tables and round white table clothes were a nice contrast from each other. I liked the beams and drapery but those light fixtures were fantastic - I was a huge fan of the chandeliers with the bird cages around them, added a bit of character to the space. The grounds between the chapel and the big barn was nice for cocktail hour - there were games, like cornhole, to keep the kids busy but they were mainly running around the large space. You can walk down the stairs to this gazebo covered in flowers, the trees were covered with twinkly white lights and there was a "little" (actually really steep) bridge below to take photos at. This makes for a really pretty outdoor space at night. You can look down from the large deck as well, and the deck has it's own wood burning fireplace as well as a chair swing. Definitely nice to be outside after dancing on a lovely Texas night. Overall, the venue was pretty and if you want the rustic barn feel, this is it! It's so close to Conroe though and the water, I wish there was some water views or even lodging on site for guests/wedding party. They have enough space for it. However, the way the evening ended left me feeling deeply disappointed, frustrated, and saddened. When families invest as much as we did in a venue of this caliber, they expect the customer service to match the beauty of the space.The venue itself is absolutely beautiful; however, the overall experience did not match the price or expectations. Throughout planning we were assigned three different planners, we started with Jillian, she left, and then were assigned 2 more, which caused confusion and stress, especially leading up to the wedding day. On the day of the despite requesting that all logistical questions be directed to the wedding planner (MOB), the on-site coordinator (Giana) repeatedly approached the bride at a time when she should have been fully present and at ease. We had to frequently ask what was happening because communication was not being relayed appropriately. We were looking forward to the dinner. The salmon was great but the steak was undercooked for many guests. We asked for medium rare but instead of pink received blood red, poor in quality, and no steak knives were provided and we were reduced to using a butter knife to cut the steak. Cake service was also mishandled, as guests who were not seated at the moment cake was passed were not served at all and many never had the opportunity to taste the cake we paid for. Our contracted breakdown window was from 11:00 PM to midnight. We had over 20 people assisting and were moving efficiently. Despite this, venue staff, who were not previously introduced began breaking down tables and throwing away personal items. We had glass votive candle holders that were intended to be wrapped with florals and placed into labeled bins, but instead were thrown together on other tables as they began breaking down tables. When we asked them to stop, the situation was met with eye-rolling, dismissive behavior and unprofessionalism by Moe. We do want to acknowledge that the bartender, DJ, photographer, and videographer were excellent and professional. Iron Manor is a gorgeous space, but unfortunately the staff experience did not match the beauty of the venue. It's unfortunate. We were blessed with a beautiful space, a wonderful ceremony and overall loved our day. We just wish the rest of the experience brought as much joy. We hope this feedback helps other couples make an informed decision when looking at venues. While Iron Manor is visually stunning, we expected customer service and professionalism to match the elegance of the space, and unfortunately it fell short.

Within the first two weeks, my daughter reported being pushed, having her hair pulled, being dragged by the arm, having her finger bent backward, and being punched in the stomach by older boys. These incidents were serious enough that I spoke directly with her teacher multiple times. The teacher acknowledged the incidents and explained that he had redirected the boys involved. What was especially frustrating was the lack of communication. I never received an incident report, phone call, or written notification regarding any of these incidents. In fact, after my daughter came home covered in ant bites on her very first day, I specifically requested incident reports moving forward. Despite that request, I never received a single incident report. After raising concerns, I was later told by administration that I should have gone directly to them. However, I had already spoken with the teacher multiple times about what was happening and the teacher failed to communicate with admin appropriately. I was also surprised to receive an email stating, "At this time, Astrid has not brought these concerns directly to her teacher..." when the teacher had witnessed the behavior himself, intervened by redirecting the boys, and had discussed the incidents with me. The emotional impact on my daughter was heartbreaking. She has attended daycare for most of her life and has always loved going. After starting here, she was crying on Sunday afternoon because she knew she had to return on Monday. She cried before drop-off which should have been a red flag. That is not normal behavior for her and was a major warning sign. Rather than addressing the behavior of the older boys who repeatedly hurt her, my daughter was moved into the Robins classroom with children ages 3-5. My daughter is almost 7 years old. While I understand the daycare was trying to separate her from the situation, it was difficult watching her be removed from her age group instead of seeing stronger intervention with the children causing the problems. The most alarming incident occurred when my daughter was able to leave the building and run into the parking lot after I had already dropped her off and she was in the daycare's custody. A gate on the property had been broken for some time, and she was able to get through it. I observed staff standing there while my child ran into the parking lot crying. I had to retrieve her myself. When discussing the incident afterward, I was told it would be used as a training opportunity for staff. In my opinion, a child being able to leave a childcare facility and enter a parking lot should never happen in the first place. To the daycare's credit, they did later repair the gate and address some of my concerns. However, the combination of repeated physical incidents, lack of communication, lack of incident reports, emotional distress to my child, and the supervision failure that allowed her to enter a parking lot ultimately left me without confidence in the facility's ability to keep my daughter safe. I would not recommend my worst enemy's child to attend here. If I could give negative starts I would.

My co teachers treated me horribly and didn't include me on any of the classroom guidelines(as if there were any). There's no curriculum done and barely any structure. They just need to make sure that licensing standards are up to date. I understand that state and regulations are extremely important, but so are the children and their development. The assistant director at the time (Courtney) was very courteous and kind during the interviewing process, than once i started she barely looked me in the face and didn't even acknowledge my presence; and turned down a reference I gave to her due to my friend "banging on the door" which she had mistaken for an amazon driver. This place is not how a childcare facility should be run at all! All of the marketing that Kaye has put into this is a scam. But at-least they look good for corporate (eye roll) Coming from a person on the inside-don't send your child here.

Open from 9am - 5pm, families and college students alike gathered in the downtown square for the plethora of fun activities and neat sights to enjoy. A giant chunk of the downtown streets were shut down to accommodate what seemed like hundreds of vendors from all over this part of Texas. Clothing boutiques, nick-knacks, fatty fair foods, holiday decorations, jewelry, candles, nuts, antiques. Seriously, you can find anything here. The best part-- the people and the spirit. I love when people come together in outdoor gatherings in high spirits. I love all the Texas gear-- giant door displays of Cowboy Santa, "Happy Fall Y'all" signs, Texas stars, university gear, leather gun holsters, cowboy-decorated wreaths, etc. It's worth checking out in you're in the area!

The track is newly painted, field has awesome also new turf, in general extremely well-lit AND paved parking lot (which has not always been the case) They even allow credit/debit for ticket purchase. Where am I?! Can it be Willis, TX? Chiller Bee was there providing $1 waters which was nice! I attended the homecoming game last Friday and the stands were packed when we arrived late; however, we still found a spot. The band and drill team had separate stands so it freed up some space for fans.
