First you choose from approximately 360 different experiences, sit in the chair and put on the head gear which enables you to experience the virtual reality show with your site and hearing. The chairs will move in different patterns to sync with the VR experience you chose. Prices are $15 for one person and $20 for 2 people. So bring a friend if possible :)! They sell the head gear in case you only want to wear your personal head gear or if you want to purchase the VR machine. The VR machine allows you to place your cell phone in it. We received a text after we made our reservation to ask if we had any lefties in the group (they have 2 bays to accommodate left handed players). We were running late and when I texted to let them know they said they would hold our bay for us. That would've been fine--except the 40 minutes turned into a full hour. We ended up stuck behind a large 6‑year‑old's birthday party, even though the course itself only had about four people actually playing. Instead of letting us play through or staggering groups, they just had us stand around waiting with no explanation. When we started to play golf, they handed us gaming cards for the arcade, which was very confusing why didn't they give it to us in the beginning so we had something to do, but we didn't come for the arcade, and we weren't doing anything--they just didn't manage the flow well at all. A few positives: the bathrooms were clean, and the place itself is visually fun. But be aware there's no real food available--just tiny bags of chips--and no alcohol. The only drinks for sale are canned sodas. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and not worth the hassle. If you're planning to go on a weekend, especially with a Groupon, I'd say it's not worth the discounts.
