This place is AWESOME! BRKThrough is such a unique and fun experience. The website does a great job of explaining everything. I've only been here once and I would definitely come back! My husband and I booked the 2 hour experience. It seems like a lot of time, but once you play, it feels like it's not enough! The rooms truly are best played with 2-4 players. There are some rooms where 2 people is nearly impossible to get a perfect score, and there are some rooms where people would just be standing around if you have more than 4 players. Your team will have a team leader who will wear a specific wristband that opens the rooms and allows you to view your score on a big screen in the hallways. If your team doesn't care about rankings and want to just play for fun, then you can go at your own pace or split up if possible, depending on the size of your team. For example, if you have a total of 6 people playing, you could be one team with 1 team captain. For scoring, it would be best to stick together. Or you can split into two teams and have two team captains. That way, your team could split up into teams of 2 and 4 or 3 and 3 depending on the game/room. If you do care about rankings, then stick with your team and try to solve as many rooms as possible and get the perfect score. The rooms are so different! It's a lot of fun. There is definitely something for every one and many rooms to solve. Within the 2 hours, my husband and I were not able to go through all the rooms. Man, after we were done, we wanted to play more! It was exhilarating because you are trying to get through as many rooms as you can and trying to get the best score. It's like we were on a game show. haha Some rooms are addicting to where you want to just play it over and over again, but if you care about your ranking, just move on! lol The rooms have a time limit, which helps you pace yourself and prevent people from hogging a room the entire time. It gives off a "minute-it to win-it" vibe. Running around and trying to find an available room is also fun in itself. It's like a labyrinth in there. There were some technical issues with some rooms. For example, there was a soccer room where one of the goals would not score at all, so that messed with our points. There was another room involving a subway where I seriously think several answers were not on the posters provided. However, it was still fun! The employees were all super nice! One of the employees even helped us play in one room because it was one of those rooms where it would have been impossible to get a good score with only 2 people. I would say this isn't exactly a "one and done" type place. If you play with different people, it will be a different experience. Certain rooms you can definitely memorize and just plug in the answers. However, there are other rooms that are sports and arcade style, so replaying it would still be fun. Furthermore, you may not finish all the rooms the first time and by the next time you come back, they may have added additional rooms/games. Also, since they track rankings, you could try to get a better score the next time you come. The price is sort of expensive, but I think it's worth it. I mean, it's not something I would do every weekend, but I can definitely see us coming back a few more times for special occasions. They do serve food inside the venue. They have a really cool little glass box outside of each room to put your drinks inside. Also, they have free lockers to put in your purse and other valuables if you wish. There are also several cool photo opportunities. This place is just amazing. You have to just come and experience it yourself! This place is perfect for birthday parties, family outings, date night, or just to try something new. I highly recommend this place! read more

Everyone needs to try this place at least one time with someone different! We came as a family, but I'll have to say this is one of the best ways to take someone on a date!! lol! If you're looking to get to know someone - this place is filled with challenges! You will find out what a person is all about mentally, intellectually, PHYSICALLY, and emotionally! If you're looking for something fun, highly recommend going to Brkthrough. We initially booked a 2-hour session, but we were having so much fun, we extended another hour. There are over 30 fun game room challenges that are based on either skill, mental or physical abilities. Some rooms require multiple abilities to complete the challenge in each room for a maximum of 100 points per room. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Here's what I learned while there. 1) You can do a tour if you want to learn more. 2) They offer two and three hour sessions. I recommend 3 hours if it's your first time. It takes you longer to figure out some of the challenges. 3) They have tap beer wall, and food. If you want to eat there, go an hour before your allotted time so you can order and eat. We had the corn dip and it was delicious. The chicken nuggets were so moist and delicious as well. 4) Outside of each room there are holders for water bottles, and they have a water refill station at the facility. 5) Wear sneakers and athletic wear. You'll get active, trust me. 6) They have lockers to store your belongings in the lobby. If you want to carry your phone, make sure your clothing has pockets. You should take your phone because you're able to scan the QR code for a clue. Parking can be either in a surface parking spot, or in the parking garage. Can't wait to go back again. read more

Looking for a great activity for dates, family fun, team bonding, or just a good time? Brkthrough was a super fun experience! You and your team pay for 2 or 3 hours and receive wristbands that can badge you into each room, and you get to stay in that room until the game is over. There's a good mix of physical games (climbing, running, jumping), skill (balancing, hand eye coordination), and mental (strategy) games. It was exciting walking into each room because we had no idea what to expect, and you have to figure out the game rules yourself-- like going into escape rooms! There is a short hint at game rules near the room name and if you need another hint, there's a QR code to scan as well. Most of the QR codes hints were not very helpful but we ended up figuring out all the games, so they're all doable. Since they're just 2 weeks old, it was pretty empty and really fun to have the place almost to ourselves! For 2 adults and virtually no wait for any rooms, we finished all the rooms around 2.75 hours and got to play our favorites again a few times. To keep things competitive, there's a leaderboard where you can compete with the day/month/ all-time players and see how many points your team earned. If you need a break, there's a seating / dining area where you can order food like pizza, burgers, etc. as well as snacks or drinks. They even have self-serve beer on tap that you pay per the ounce! There are also water fountains / bottle refilling areas too. There is a lot of touching objects, and each room is not sanitized right after. There are a few hand sanitizer stations, but I think they can benefit from more... might be hard to convince younger kids not to touch their faces after playing a room! There are free lockers to place your stuff. The staff are all nice and helpful in answering any questions or requests. This was a super fun surprise date, and I recommend trying BRKthrough out! Wow! What a fun experience. My husband really wanted to check this out with our two teenagers. To be honest, the kids and I were reluctant because we didn't know what to expect. But boy were we surprised by how much fun we would all have! The set up is team style. There were over 30 game rooms with different challenges. Some mental, some physical, some a bit of both. Some rooms were even more like escape rooms. As you go through each room at your own choosing, your team earns points and there is a leader board that you can check. They also have food and lots of drink options. We definitely plan to return with our kids and then go another time with our adult friends. Be sure and wear comfortable shoes you can move in. My girlfriend took me here for my birthday and we had a blast. We went soon after it first opened so everything was brand new. For the price, you get a lot of value. You get plenty of rooms with unique and varied activities that range from pattern recognition, to mind bending puzzles, and very active 90s game show type activity rooms. It's like a bunch of mini-escape rooms in one. Being able to redo the rooms make it exciting to try and figure out. It was a very enjoyable night out that I recommend for friends and families. We also managed to catch the manager on the way out and he was nice enough to give us a free birthday desert (S'mores fondue) which was a delicious way to wrap up the night. read more

The management is very unprofessional. Darren (the GM) according to him, was very unprofessional, very disrespectful, and extremely impatient with my wife and kids. This was our first time ever coming so we didn't know all of the details regarding the time limit and when we approached the front desk Darren didn't hold back his frustration on people that were there for their first time and will definitely be there last.Honestly I can't believe that this establishment has people like Darren in management that has zero people skills, no integrity, and no patience for first time customers. We came here on Fourth of July to explore this location since it has a five star review. We decided on the first hour since the front desk gentleman said we can add additional time at a later time. I asked at that time do we just pay the difference which would be 5 bucks and he nodded yes. Well the first hour went pretty quickly since my 8 year old daughter had the card and just kept scanning rooms and we were still understanding the process. So fast forward past the hour we decided to add an hour. I spoke with one gentleman and he said it would be 10 bucks per person. I explained my previous conversation with the First Gentleman so a manager named Darrin came out. Immediately he was polite I explained to him but then he appeared to be overwhelmed and frustrated my niece and daughter were running and playing in the back ground and he took it upon himself to correct our children who again are in an active environment. Me and my sister understood and asked our daughters to settle down. However when it came to added the additional hour his energy was just completely off and he kept being snarky towards me and my sister. It's like he was rushing or irritated that he even had to do his job. He asked my sisters name and she said her husbands name since that's who did the account set up and he rudely said I'm asking your name so she said her name and could not find the additional waiver so I spelled it to him and he said yeah that's what she just said. Over all just a negative vibe an it ruined our whole experience. One you should not yell at someone else's kids and at all time hold a certain level of respect when just have to communicate with paying customers. Darrin ruined the whole experience. read more
