Don't let the small place fool you, it looks very unassuming but wow was I impressed. I had a pound of brisket and it was so tender and juicy and flavorful. Had a half rack of ribs and wow it literally melted in your mouth. The sauce on the ribs was fantastic but the yellow sauce for the brisket was out of this world. The mustard based sauce was unlike any bbq sauce I've ever had and had a nice little kick to it as well. The mustard slaw, which I had never even heard of, was delicious. It's certainly a strong mustard base but if you like mustard you'll love it. I don't normally go for dessert as I'm carnivore but I was so impressed with the meal I knew I had to try the desserts. I had the carrot cake and the butterfinger cake. Wow. Both were the bomb but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the butterfinger and I'm not even a huge butterfinger person. If you live within an hour of this place do yourself a favor and go here. I'd just about fly from NC just to eat here again.

Floors and tables were very sticky. That should have told us something. It was a Monday and fresh oil should have been used. We are not that picky, but being closed Saturday and Sunday should have been time to get things right. Soda fountains ran out on first drink. Sister's eggs were cooked with grill oil - not butter. Oil for fries, hash browns, fried steaks and eggs were all old oil. You could taste it. There were flies and the place needed a good steam cleaning. Waitress was partially attentive, but looked like she really didn't want to be there. Sat around a lot when she could have been deep cleaning. The place could be epic and nostalgic if someone cared.

Burger Depot drink looks to be about a 10 ounce cup, which comes with mostly ice at about 4 to 5 ounces of actual drink for $2.19 if you order it individually.
