A nice little hole in the wall with pretty cheap jian bing. Wish there was more filling but overall very tasty

I've been wanting to try these egg crepes for a long time. So glad I did! Nearly missed this place but saw the sandwich board on the street, then went inside to the little window to place our order. The chef -owners were happy to let me take pictures and show their process. There is so much care going into each and every order. With a tiny space to maneuver in and a couple of grills going, you can see why you might have to wait a few minutes for your crepe. There were 1-2 people ahead of me and my dining companion. I think we waited 15 minutes or so for our crepes. Good food takes time, and it's worth the wait. (Also, it gave us time to have a really nice chat with another patron waiting in the stairwell area!) We both ordered the traditional. It was loaded with crispy dough and tons of lettuce. Came piping off the grill and we found a bench a little ways down College to enjoy it. The textures are perfect together. MOREISH is the word for this. One crepe is MASSIVE, enough to share (but I ate the whole thing and so did my dining companion). So satisfying, can't wait to have this again.

One of the more affordable spots for Chinese Crepes! The owners are friendly, and understand if you order in English as well. Bring cash just in case. Keep in mind that it can take a while to make if there is a lineup! They make each order fresh! This is a literal hole in the wall spot, no seating, just grab and go. Ingredients are fresh, and the fried dough adds the perfect texture. Highly recommend!

So good and super fresh! Of course service so friendly will remind again for next time!

Although I had a bit of trouble locating the place, it was well worth it. It is a mom-and-pop type of kiosk inside 267 College Street. I ordered the "traditional" crepe which I was advised was vegetarian. I also opted for spicy (although it was only mildly spicy). It took about 15 minutes but worth the wait. At $7 dollars, it was a delicious, filling meal. Looking forward to my next visit!

Easily 5/5 for all those looking for a quick lunch or snack for two. This is a traditional Chinese crepe snack that has sauce, egg, lettuce, and fried dough freshly made to order. They also have congee and soy milk. The owners are lovely and friendly. The store is tiny, with no seating and you order at a window, truly a corner. You can watch them making crepe after crepe. As the crepe tastes best right when it's been freshly made I recommend you taking a first bite right there. I've gone twice in the last two weeks!

    Sausage and chicken jianbing

I have been craving one of these Jian bing for so long. Not sure why it's so hard to find (good ones of course) because they don't appear to be hard to make. Came across this place because it popped up on Yelp. And because I was downtown I took a detour to check it out. This place is a literal hole in the wall, mom and pop shop. And of course hole in the walls have the best food! There's a little window facing college street not sure if they open it up for ordering during the warmer months. But there was a sign to go through the doors to order. They don't have many options, mainly just the regular jianbing and option to add in shredded potatoes, sausage or chicken. I ordered one chicken and one sausage. Sausage is sliced hot dog wieners. It was soooooo good. Definitely satisfied my craving. I wish they were there during my UofT days because it's a good cheap meal. Oh also if you order a chicken or sausage filling you get a free congee. The congee I got was a pumpkin one, very well made the rice was nicely broken down and it came with half a boiled egg. Note that due to location there's some sketchy people that do go in and out of the building. So be aware of that. I had someone that looked like they were clearly on something deliberately walk to my me inches from my face and then walk away to try and intimidate me or something. But even with this if I'm in the area I'll pop in to grab one of them for a meal. Maybe just make sure I'm with a friend or something tho.

If I could give this couple 6 stars I would. This is an authentic Chinese breakfast crêpe or Jianbing (煎饼) shop. It's crammed between Burger King and a Shawarma shop and takes up no more than 150sqft of space. They sell the best and cheapest Jianbing in Chinatown. They also have congee and marinated eggs too. The Jianbing is made fresh to order so the inside remains crispy. But this also means that if there are 2-3 people before you, prepare to wait up to 15min.

Parfait: I got two different flavours of ice cream, black sesame and thai ice cream. They were both really smooth and delicious. I love that they have asian flavours here! The crunch of the cornflakes, freshness or the fruits, and creaminess of the ice cream went really well together. I would recommend this over the crepes to be honest, my friends got the crepes but found it really hard to eat them without spilling. Crepe cake: while this is good, I found it difficult to eat. When trying to use my fork to eat it like a normal cake, there crepe layers slipped and slid against each other. It kind of came apart as I ate it. It was still nice to experience what it tasted like for the first time, though I don't think I would get this item specifically again. Overall I think Millie's has great menu items and I would go back again! Note that it is quite small, so best to only go in small groups of 2-3.

I got the matcha crepe cake and found it really nice, light and fluffy. It is a bit pricey though, so I would only get this if I am planning to indulge in a splurge. They also had Earl Grey which looked interesting too. I went with a friend on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. However, probably 15 mins later a whole crowd of people came in and all the cake sold out within minutes. lol. So it might also depend on timing for getting a cake. Overall, I would recommend if you are okay with the price and I would return if I am in the area.
