Looking for crepes and came to try this place. It's a small cafe in Yorkville probably only 5-6 tables inside. Feels a little cramped. Good selection of sweet and savoury crepes on the menu, omelettes, sandwiches and cafe drinks. Menu didn't really feel authentic and a lot of the savoury crepes had egg as filling. Tried the Rive Droight savoury crepe with salad combo. Really underwhelmed. Smoked salmon and filling combo was really salty. I ordered green tea which came from PC. Overall average crepe place which didn't entice me enough to return.

I'd give them a higher rating if they didn't take so long. We love this place and know that they're typically slow, but today, they were SUPER SLOW. We've mostly ordered them through UberEats since our weekends are often cramped, so it's easier to eat at home. Today, I placed my order shortly after 12 pm and still didn't have a delivery person assigned at 1:15. Since we weren't far, I decided to switch to pick-up. My husband got there around 1:35 and they had JUST started making our order! If they knew they weren't able to handle it, why did they keep their delivery orders open? At least we knew it was freshly made and not sitting there for half an hour. We didn't eat until 2 pm-ish. On the happy side, the crepes were delicious.

I can rate it based upon a couple of pickup order as the inside dinning is closed for now. I used a pickup option for a sweet and savory crepe. The crepes were almost ready when I arrived so received them nice and warm. Both are OK and nothing to write home about. Would I order from them again probably if I don't want to venture out as this is just a middling spot for crepe.

The two ladies were very friendly and nice when we walked in, but they couldn't keep up with their service as soon as the place became packed with customers. Expect slow service when this happens. When it comes to savory crepes, we have very high standards since we used to have an excellent creperie that made gourmet crepes in our town. We like our crepes to be thin and crispy with a nice balance of filling and sauce for moisture. Yorkville Crepes had a great selection of savory crepes, but they failed in execution on all of the crepes we ordered. The crepes were crispy but chewy. This meant they overcooked them, which caused some of the fillings like smoked salmon to get cooked and be dry. Rive-Droite in particular could have been better if it had half-cooked scrambled eggs or a sauce like aioli. Other than that, we loved their kale salad.

Yorkville crepes have a beautiful ambiance to set your morning right. Coffee and crepes were amazing.

Crêpes à Gogo reminded me of just how much I loved crêpes, especially savoury ones! I stopped by here for a quick dinner one night before seeing a friend's concert. These delectable creations are folded and served in a paper bag, so no utensils are required. I was torn between all the choices I had! A lot of them contain smoked salmon, which I normally love. But I wasn't sure how much I'd like it served inside a warm crepe. In the end, I opted for the Parisienne with scrambled egg, swiss, mushrooms, threads of red onion and filaments of dill. The combination was perfect- absolutely delicious! The dill was wonderfully fragrant and paired fantastically with the red onions and earthy mushrooms. I would've liked a little more scrambled eggs, but other than that, everything worked really well together. Best of all was the crêpe itself, which was inexplicably tasty! I would be very happy to just eat the crêpe plain on its own. I proudly finished my entire crêpe (albeit with a little help from my friend who took a few bites). It was a little too filling for me, but extremely satisfying nevertheless. Crêpes à Gogo recently opened a second location on Bloor and Spadina, so I might want to check that out soon. Can't wait to try their sweet crêpes!

So the bear itself in the affogato was a solid icy chunk of milk (coz we chose the milk flavour) that just frozen. We added the affogato on top of it and while it looked aesthetic, the dessert didn't make sense at all. We were unable to break the frozen chunk or be able to mix it with the coffee and the coffee mixed with that frozen chunk submerged tasted really bad. Paying $16 for that wasn't worth it at all. The bingsu was good though. We got the mango bingsu bowl and it came loaded with mangoes and a marshmallow and an oreo cookie to make it look pretty! I don't think I'd come back to try anything else here. Was a little disappointed.

Delicious desserts, waffles ice cream, smoothies, and more. We ordered: Medium Mango Smoothie - $7.95 Simple Pleasures Waffle - $15.50 The waffle was light and fluffy and the toppings of fruit and chocolate were a great combination. I requested to be lighter on the chocolate but there was still a LOT of chocolate on our waffle. The mango smoothie was refreshing and sweet. I started going to Holy Choco when they first opened and their service was really good from some of the owner. Super attentive and caring staff. Unfortunately, it's since gone downhill since they've hired new staff and we had a number of small problems when visiting this time (dirty tables, dirty cutlery, requested if our food could be put in to go containers because they didn't want to do dishes, unfriendly, etc.) I hope they improve upon these staffing issues soon. Their seating area is good for friends and groups to loiter. Also, if you plan on bringing a laptop, they have MANY OUTLETS!!

For items: we chose strawberry, banana, halal marshmallow, waffle bites, brownie bites, and Oreo with a round of cappuccino's ($5.50 each). The interior is nicely decorated with a cute angel photo op in the back, and window bar seats and couches to choose from. Great spot for 2-4 people. The only criticism I could have was it took a while to get our order. So, it's not one of those places you can be dipping into expecting to be done in 20mins! We stayed for nearly 3 hours and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

I got the Avalanche (Skor,Cheesecake, and Caramel) and I loved that they stretched the dough when we ordered and then start frying it right there. It really ensures that we get freshly fried Beaver Tails at the peak of their deliciousness. After I got mine slathered with the toppings I ordered, I dug in and as expected, it's really hot but SOOOOO good. It's like the concept of a donut only thinner and crispier, thus resulting in a much better texture and crunch throughout which I very much prefer over a donut actually. The cheesecake spread mingling with the sweet caramel, crunchy toffee bits, and crispy hot dough is just such a perfect combination. It's a bit of a mess to eat but sooooo worth it. It really is such a shame that there isn't an establishment like this in NYC because it could seriously do some REALLY good numbers over here I reckon. I HAVE to get this again when I come back up to Canada (unless ya'll want to build a place down across the border haha).

When I saw the price was $9.90 per chocolate, I was honestly a little surprised, bc it's sold under 7 per chocolate in Korea. But they were running a promotion until the 15th -- 5 for $30 -- which made it much more reasonable. I've never had the original version sold in Korea, so I can't compare it directly, but from what I've seen and heard, it seems pretty similar to what's trending there. Korean reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and people say it tastes just like the viral version. The texture is definitely chewy, just like the name suggests, and it's very sweet. Personally, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's just my preference. That being said, I gave some as gifts and they absolutely loved it. So if you enjoy rich, sweet desserts -- or you're looking for something trendy and fun to share -- this would be a great choice. The shop itself is small and cozy, but very welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, even though it's not exactly my personal favorite flavor-wise, I can understand the hype. It's a fun treat to try at least once, especially if you've been curious about the viral Korean Dubai chocolate trend. I'd recommend stopping by and taking advantage of the promo while it lasts!
