But today gave it another chance, eggs were served over medium instead of easy and the sausage was a little underdone. 2 people trying to serve a busy restaurant says to me that they intentionally understaff in spite of Sunday crowds. Not blaming the staff, but service suffered for it, to put it mildly. It's a shame when they used to be so good.

The jalapenos weren't spicy at all, and all of it needed salt, but it was otherwise delicious. The batter was good and crispy. Add a bit of salt, and it'd be perfect! My husband had the breakfast burger and I had the BBQ bacon burger. Both were perfectly cooked...nice and charred on the outside and juicy on the inside. Both came with fries, which they offer in a few seasoning options. I opted for the garlic parmesan fries. When they came out, I was disappointed to see that they were shoestring style fries, since shoestrings are typically a bit too crispy/overcooked for my liking, but I must say, these were the best shoestring fries I've ever had. The garlic parmesan seasoning put it right over the top. They were also the perfect crispy outside, tender inside that I love in a French fry. Again, shoestrings usually aren't tender inside, but these were. This is a great little restaurant just a short distance from the lake house we stayed at. If/when we return to Warsaw, we will be back!
