The hygienists are professional and knowledgeable and they truly care about your comfort and experience. Dr Durusky is fantastic. He's smart, yet approachable. If there are multiple options for treatment, he explains them all to you and doesn't try to upsell any unnecessary treatments. A Christmas Miracle! On the evening of December 21th, while eating cheese, my very old crown fell out! I had a January 2022 appointment with Cornerstone as a new patient, but I had never met them nor did they know me. In panic and hopeful desperation , I called for an appointment on Dec 22 and was seen on December 23. Figuring on the worse but hoping for a temporary relief, I was amazed to have the dentist tell me that it was only a deterioration of glue and he could fix me right there and then!!! And he did. My Christmas roast beef was enjoyed by all, including me! The staff, the attention to stress, and the relief of it were all everything one could hope for in a dental practice. This is a wonderful dentist office. I have been coming here for 4-5 years and I love it. The entire office staff is wonderful, kind, friendly, and professional. I went for my first time this morning and was completely blown away by how positive of an experience I had. The last time I went to another dentist, I had a really bad experience. Dr. Chris was honest and straightforward and did an excellent job explaining my x-rays and talking through my cold sensitivity issues. I never felt pressured to buy anything or get an unnecessary service. Tina was great too! She was gentle but thorough and my teeth feel so clean! Very attentive staff overall. Also, office and examination rooms were clean, airy and comfortable. Really like the idea of all examination rooms were equipped with doors and completely private, which gave you a sense your privacy was of paramount importance; this is something you don't experience at most other dental establishments. Also, this visit was an initial new patient visit with two issues I wanted to address. The Dr. was very informative and completely focused on the most pressing issue, first so to get a baseline on proper treatment protocol. The other issue wasn't nearly as pressing, but he assured me if it did become an issue before next visit, he completely encouraged me to contact and help will be rendered immediately. I'm a new patient of Dr. Durusky, but I've been so impressed by the level of service and care already that I felt compelled to leave a review. We found out about his new office in Chapel Hill through a postcard that came in the mail advertising a family dental plan. It was great timing because we had actually just decided not to renew our worthless dental insurance plan that I get through my job. Cornerstone's Family Plan is a great value for us because it includes 2 cleanings and a discount on additional services, which is just what we needed. I've also been impressed with how quickly we've been able to make appointments. I've already had a cleaning and a filling done in the span of less than 2 weeks, while my previous dental provider covered under my old insurance plan couldn't get me scheduled for over 8 months.
