Our experience with Jonathan Jennings and his company was nothing short of a nightmare, and we feel compelled to share the details so others can avoid the same frustration. The project was initially estimated to take one week. In reality, it dragged on for nearly two months. From the very beginning, communication was abysmal. We were repeatedly told that our water would be turned back on by the end of the day--only to return home to a house with no running water. This happened multiple times, and each time we were left scrambling to make alternative arrangements. Jonathan's bid on the project was inaccurate. He assured us that the work could be completed without cutting into the driveway. That turned out to be false. Not only did the driveway have to be cut, but Jonathan also refused to complete the concrete repair in a reasonable timeframe. To make matters worse, he demanded full payment before the driveway was restored, claiming it was a "separate job"--even though the need for driveway work was a direct result of his own miscalculation. As the delays mounted, so did the excuses. Eventually, Jonathan began screening our calls and refusing to respond, even while our home was still without water. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any industry, but especially when dealing with something as essential as a home's water and sewer system. To top it all off, near the end of the project, we discovered that no permit had been filed with the county. We had to personally call and confirm this with the county office. Only after we confronted Jonathan did he finally submit the permit. When the inspector came out, the project failed inspection due to multiple errors--further delaying completion. There were other issues as well, but frankly, this review is already long enough. The bottom line is this: communication and honesty are the foundation of any reputable business, and this company demonstrated neither. What should have been a straightforward project turned into a stressful, drawn-out ordeal that left us without basic utilities for far too long. I would not recommend this company to anyone--especially not to new homeowners who are already juggling the challenges of settling into a new place. Save yourself the stress and hire someone who values transparency, accountability, and customer service.

Frank is very personable, explained all areas of interest which would raise flags, which items should be given immediate attention and others which were normal settling such as vertical/horizontal cracking. His suggestions of benefits such as additional attic insulation, drainage away from the foundation, etc., put us at ease that nothing serious was noticed, just maintaining good maintenance practices. King Piers was able to get us on their schedule within a week. King Piers was more expensive and I didn't feel as comfortable with the man who did the estimate, however, the guy who physically did the work was kind and knowledgeable. My husband spoke with him multiple times throughout the process and said he seemed really experienced and confident but he wasn't arrogant. There was a miscommunication on our end, I misunderstood the scope of work. I was out of town and having to FaceTime in to see what was happening. As soon as my husband even dared to question the process the owners son got really annoyed, rude and, somewhat aggressive. As soon as he deemed us a potential problem he didn't listen to what we were saying and just kept repeating himself "Did you read the estimate? Do you want me to call my dad?" So...take that for what you will. They started very loud work very early, we had multiple complaints from neighbors frustrated that the concrete was being dug/drilled so early. The posts are seemingly solid, our floor is level, and the addition to the back of our home that was sliding is seemingly secure. Though they were more expensive than the other estimate, I didn't feel that the price was outrageous. Did they technically get the job done? Yep. Would I recommend them? Maybe?
