10/10 recommend My Gym birthday parties!…read more My kids and their friends had an absolute blast playing here. The programming is structured without stopping any of the crazy fun. Owner Naomi & her staff are a pleasure to work with. I spoke with Alex several times leading up to the party and communication was always so warm and helpful. Clean! This kids gym is CLEAN, which is worth its' weight in gold. All of our guests noticed and complimented the fun inviting space. Thanks, My Gym! This is the best bang for your buck in the area.

It was our first time and I expected…read morethere to be some kind of introduction to the class as far as what was expected of me and my daughter but all I received was a breakdown of the schedule and related costs, which isn't very relevant info considering I had to view that in order to schedule her class. The "leader" of the class had good vocal projection but she wasn't enthusiastic, she just expected the toddlers to listen because she raised her voice. Meanwhile the other staff members very shyly supported her by urging kids to participate. It seemed to me that there is an expectation of compliance potentially carried out by the parents but the staff acted genuinely bored and unmotivated so the idea of active children participating wholeheartedly when the adults aren't modeling it themselves is silly. Something easy that can be done is using first names to get attention, not "my friends" because kids are naturally self-possessed by their own activities, or instituting a specific bell or clapper (something novel) that can mark the time for transitions. Also, if it's a priority in this class to learn/master specific skills, make attempting those skills an expectation & utilize parents and staff members to accomplish that. Say "hey, benny, I noticed you haven't tried zip lining yet! Each kiddo who tries the zip line gets a purple stamp. Wanna try it?" When any activity is accompanied by recognition & enthusiasm, kids are far more likely to participate. One more suggestion: staff should really take turns leading activities. That way, kids know who all the staff are and that they are all authority figures & cooperating together. In a room with lots of adults, kids can get confused or only listen to the one they think is the most in charge. The lack of engagement & confidence was really hard to watch.

First time checking out this location. It is also owned by Carlsbad Skyzone owners. Customer…read moreservice is just as amazing at San Marcos. This location is more compact, still cool free video games to play. Their concession stand has ample supply of ice cream and other items. Great prices just like Carlsbad! I would say this is perfect for toddlers and younger children. When we went with my almost 10 year old there were armies of 5 and under. Probably closer to 3 and under. I wish I knew about this location when he was smaller. They even have a jungle gym good for the younger crowd and opened their Skytower while we were there. Would highly recommend this location for the younger Skyzone members it's perfect size to chase your child around and not have them get lost. Their toddler time was popping. (Very busy, in the best way, like a small child party but plenty of room.)

For many families like ours, this isn't just another activity on the calendar, it's a weekly routine that our children genuinely look forward to and depend on. As a parent of a child with special needs, consistency and predictability are extremely important. Sensory Hour has been a valuable opportunity for our child to safely enjoy the facility in an environment designed to meet their needs. Receiving such short notice left families scrambling after already planning their day around the event. What is most frustrating is not just the cancellation itself, but the lack of consideration shown to the families who rely on this program. A little advance notice and communication would have gone a long way. Because of this experience, we have decided to cancel our family's memberships. We hope Sky Zone will reconsider how they communicate changes to programs that are so important to the special needs community and make a greater effort to support the families who have faithfully attended Sensory Hour every week.

We took our kids to Sky Zone Carlsbad recently and had such a great experience…read more One of the biggest things that stood out was how clean the entire park was. The floors, trampoline areas, seating spaces, and overall environment felt really well maintained. What impressed us even more was the level of supervision throughout the park. The staff was consistently attentive, walking around, helping guests, answering questions, and actually making sure the rules were being followed so everyone could have fun safely. One employee in particular really stood out. I believe his name was Ryder or Ryker (something along those lines), a younger redheaded staff member, probably around 16-17. He did an amazing job keeping an eye on the different areas, making sure kids played safely while still making the experience fun. You could tell he genuinely cared about creating a good environment for families and wasn't just standing around. He was helpful, professional, and made us feel comfortable letting our kids enjoy themselves. Overall, we left really impressed. Clean facility, great supervision, friendly staff, and a safe atmosphere for kids. We'll definitely be coming back.
