Jodie has cultivated a wonderful, kind group of children, and the environment is always warm and welcoming. We only moved him because we wanted a Spanish-immersion environment for his language development, but we are so grateful for the love and care Jodie gave our son. She will be missed!

The teachers always have fun activities planned, and send pictures and videos throughout the day! Somewhat recently they came under new ownership. Honestly I have no idea who the previous owner was, I don't think I ever saw or met them. But Sabriya is there every day, and you can definitely tell the difference. They've redone all the classrooms, they constantly have fun events planned (like a giant blow-up slide and ball pit for graduations, water days every Friday in July, reptile presentations and Kona ice, a Disney party with activities, snacks, and prizes for all the kids, etc.), and they've even added a food / lunch service (we didn't opt in to that, but the menu options looked good). They've also put in more security cameras and made other improvements. Everything looks completely different now, and they're still adding more! They also offer parents nights out, where they have dinner and fun activities planned for the kids so the parents can get away for a night. We never opted in for any of these either, but I thought it was pretty cool seeing the different themed nights they had planned. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better daycare experience. She has attended this daycare for the past 7months and she has loved all her teachers she has come across. This was my daughter's first daycare so it was daunting at first with the fear of not knowing how she would react to seeing new faces, but it only took a couple of weeks for her to acclimate to her new surroundings. Her teachers made it such an easy smooth transition into daycare. Ms. Deneve from the Starfish class was very caring and sensitive to her daily needs. She also helped and encouraged my daughter to crawl as she was late in her milestones. I love the fact that I would get daily updates through their app so I know when she would have a change, feeding, circle time, playtime, snacks, art time, nap time, etc. I really loved and enjoyed the multiple daily photo updates to help put my mind at ease. When she transitioned to the bigger class with Ms. Sam and Jen from Sea Turtles, she flourished, became more active, and had more motivation to walk as she was seeing her other friends do it. Her next class was with Ms. Jaydin and Vanessa and although she only spent a short amount of time there, we know she was very well taken care of, and they were very responsive to her needs. I cannot thank you all enough for taking care of this little Lily girl. Thank you to the manager Ms. Monique for being so great and supportive throughout the whole process. We loved the "Parent's Night Out" that they offer every other week to give parents some time for reconnection. She will miss spending those times with Ms. Monique and Ms. Teresa. We would like to give a special thanks to the owner Ms. Sabriya for always being so understanding and accommodating when Lily was sick and I couldn't pick her up right away. She took care of Lily in her office until I could finally get her. Sometimes she stayed late to care for her after hours as well. Which brings me to wonderful Ms. Kyilee and Ms. Sam who were always willing to stay after hours to watch Lily when I was stuck at work. I cannot put into words just how grateful I am for your endless support since moving down to SD with this little girl. My situation was unconventional in that I was a sole parent 5 days out of the week and this whole team of amazing caregivers/teachers had exceeded my expectations on what I could have ever imagined daycare to be. Aria could have gone to TK but I kept her at Gladys 1 more year bc I did not think she was ready for a bigger school. Now after 2 years, she has flourished so much. She eats all kind of food, actually Ms Gladys' food is the best not mommy's . She reads well, is good at math, follows Montessori. Kumon even complimented her she had passed TK level on math. This is coming to an end for Aria at ABCD as she will start kindergarten soon. It is such a bittersweet moment. But at least I know I will bring my second daughter to her soon. Thanks Gladys and Pablo for loving her, caring for her from feeding 1 spoon of food at a time. She is now ready for K, and she is well equipped because of you. This is not just daycare, it is preschool and love and heart. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

She genuinely loves the kids & builds a trusting relationship towards them. You can see how much the kids there adore her! The house is spacious, clean, with more than enough toys & books to share. The outside is perfect for growing babies/kids to socialize, play, & get their hands dirty! Cleyce is thorough with her COVID Guidelines so you feel safe. She has a husband & 3 kids; the 3 kids play with the kids sometimes too so it's nice to have a couple older kids in the mix. She used to have a couple helpers, but when COVID first hit, she had to reduce. **Note: I'm not sure how it is at the moment. Bella transitioned so smoothly (she did better than Mommy) & Cleyce even helped with potty training! I love the intimidate setting. It was so sad when Bella began to outgrow the place & ready to start Pre-k! Cleyce's home became our 2nd home & it was so hard to go. Bella still talks about how she misses Cleyce & it warms my heart so much. Anyone's kids would be lucky to have Cleyce care for them. She's the best & will always have a special place in our heart!

Now that we added our 2nd at the same age, price has double at $3,100 per month. But staff turnover, and poor morale has significantly decreased their care. Each year they'll increase the fees by 10% but staff do not see this reflected in their salaries. NOTE: the increase to fees started yearly prior to COVID, and benefits of a tuition free week was no longer available post COVID but prices continue to increase. Staff leaving after 5+ yrs of dedication due to a 50cent increase per hr was denied by management.

My kids have always come home singing songs and learning so much - by the time my oldest started Kindergarten they were already reading, writing, and way ahead of their peers - and it's all thanks to KCC. Sad to leave as our youngest moves upward and onward, but truly a gem in local childcare. We'll miss you!

The teachers are incredibly loving and thoughtful. I especially love the fact that they celebrate birthdays and holidays and create opportunities for parents to get to know each other, too. My child has grown by leaps and bounds, and his interactions with the other children are fun to see. The fact that meals are provided (bfast, lunch and snacks) is a godsend. Several daycares/preschools in the region claim to be Spanish immersion but aren't actually (e.g., they speak English to the kiddos). At Lulus, I feel like we get a truly authentic Spanish immersion program for our son, knowing instruction is exclusively in Spanish. And it shows. My son 100% understands Spanish when it is spoken to him and he mixes Spanish and English in his vocabulary regularly. I credit Lulus for a large part of that bilingual ability and look forward to seeing his fluency improve in the years to come. Highly recommend Lulus!!

I am giving Green Flash 2 stars based on a severely rushed recent inspection and the poor quality…read moreof their past repair work. Recently, I had them come out because I suspected termites in one of our rafter tails. To their credit, they correctly identified that specific spot as just fungus and didn't try to oversell me on treatments I didn't need. However, their inspection was incredibly brief. They spent only a few minutes scanning the house, didn't check the attic at all, and gave us the all-clear. A couple of days later, I had a second company come out for another look. They spent almost an hour doing a thorough inspection and found a severe termite infestation in a different rafter tail that was almost entirely hollowed out. They spotted the signs right through the paint. Green Flash completely missed this. On top of the missed inspection, the wood rot repairs Green Flash did for us 5 years ago (costing about $1,200) have both failed and need to be redone. They spliced a rafter tail that is now loose, and it turns out they miscut a replacement barge board on the back of the house. To cover up the bad cut, they glued a scrap piece of wood over it, which has since detached and is currently hanging off the board. Bottom line: They failed to do a thorough termite inspection, and their carpentry work doesn't hold up. I highly recommend getting a second opinion on their inspections and hiring a dedicated specialist for any actual wood repairs.

The person who picked up the phone was very nice and told me the soonest would be the next day morning and I could book through their website. As soon as I hung up I immediately received a text with a quote and link. Booking through their website was fast and easy. Came in today for my 9:30am appointment and Darren helped check me in, drove it into the shop and within a few minutes confirmed the crack is repairable with a cash/card quote and about 2 hour turnaround. They finished at 11:20 just under 2 hours. Cost was $242 OTD with card. Easy, fast, great service, good price

That pricing was a major selling point and one of the reasons I chose them over other companies at the time. When I recently called to schedule my annual service, I was told the program had been discontinued and I would need to enroll in a new VIP plan at a significantly higher cost ($200+). The new pricing represents a substantial increase from what was originally promised. They stated they attempted to notify customers of the change, but I never agreed to any modification of the original terms. When I asked for documentation showing that the agreement allowed for this change, none was provided. After multiple exchanges, they did not budge and continued to repeat the same generic explanation rather than addressing the core issue of honoring the original agreement. I mean if they are going to promise the LIFE of the unit and then change the policy they should at a minimum give people under the previous plan at least 3-5 years before transitioning just out of fairness, not just cut them off the next year after. It's obviously fine to charge the new price to new customers. Anyway, at no point was there any effort to resolve the situation or offer a reasonable accommodation. I've been around a long time and dealt with many businesses, I've never seen anything like this. Given their otherwise strong reputation and BBB rating, this was particularly disappointing. As a long-term retired military customer who values reliability and transparency when choosing companies to service my home, this experience fell very short. Customers should be aware that long-term pricing commitments will not be honored or grandfathered and replaced with significantly higher-cost programs based on daily business decisions.

I am incredibly disappointed with how this shop handles pricing and communication. I reached out on…read moreYelp asking for a quote to replace the display on my MacBook Pro 14" (Model A2442). They explicitly gave me a flat price of $499 for a display replacement. Based entirely on that number, I took the time out of my day to drive down, drop off my machine, and pay a non-refundable $30 diagnostic fee. However, once they had my laptop completely disassembled on their workbench, the price suddenly jumped by $100 to a new quote of $599. When I questioned why the price changed from their written quote, they claimed that the initial $499 price was actually only for a "B-Grade" used screen with scuffs and scratches on the outer casing. If I wanted a normal-looking, flawless screen ("A-Grade"), I had to pay the higher premium. They had my exact model number from the very first text. Withholding information about different "grades" of used parts until a customer's laptop is already taken apart in your shop is a highly deceptive business practice. Had they been transparent upfront that a standard screen replacement would cost $599, I would have opted to go to the Apple Store instead of wasting my time and money here. I paid the $30 fee just to get my laptop put back together and returned to me. Go to Apple or a more transparent shop that honors their initial quotes.
