Wow! Had this company paint our woodworking years ago & we were royally overcharged. There were shortcuts taken: the tops of the door jams were NOT painted; no one would notice them not done, correct? We did- sadly after the bill was paid. I called & left a voice message but no one got back to me. Figures. This company rep talked a good talk about integrity, good workmanship, blah blah but we were screwed. Do NOT use this company. If you do get other estimates so you are not naive like we were. Too trusting when hearing all the places the company had previously done work for....Good they had all that other business ( for them!) but we certainly paid for lousy quality!!! I hired Cornerstone Painting Contractors, Inc. to paint the interior of one of our cargo buildings at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. The building is 24,000 SF and 100% occupied by our Fortune 500 Company tenant. Not only did the Cornerstone Painting personnel interact with our tenant on a very professional level, but they also coordinated the project superbly and minimized the impact of this work on our tenant's operation. Cornerstone painted the exterior of my home in August of 2013. The job consisted of one coat over a moderately rough surface. A fair amount of prep work was required but nothing too involved. I am an extremely particular person and I notice everything. Some people might find me hard to work with (read: my wife). I had major heart burn hiring someone in the first place. I generally do everything myself, research the hell out of it, obsess over the minutiae and take way to long to finish. Summer is 12 weekends, give or take, so rather than give up several of them to chutes and ladders I called the pros. Their level of service was top-notch from start to finish. They came out to do an estimate within a day of my calling. All calls and questions were answered in a timely manner usually by the top dog himself. A storage trailer was brought on sight to contain what little mess there was. The five star rating reflects a value of services approach. Their quote was very competitive with the other three I received for the sake of due diligence. Was the house corn shell blasted and sprayed in a spray booth like a model airplane. No. But it was an excellent job for a realistic price. I'm sure you could find someone to take more of your money ( I'm thinking of anyone ive ever seen on This old House) And I'm sure you could find some craigslist hacker with " 25+ years of experience" and who also does "odd jobs and trash removal" to take less of your money. If you want a solid job for a solid price, call these guys, and for crying out loud be nice to your neighbors when it comes to colors. read more

I recently had Cornerstone Painting help with some remodeling in my home. Wallpaper needed to be removed, walls and woodwork sanded and crown molding, ceilings, cabinets and walls painted. I was nervous at first of hiring someone to do the work, as I've had horrible experience with contractors at my home. My house is over 100 years old so nothing goes as planned. That was until I met the folks at Cornerstone Painting. Wow was I impressed. The owner Richard came out to meet me and walk through all of the details of my project. I had a quote emailed to me within a day and estimated start date. No detail I had mentioned (and there were many) was missed. The work was coming out so well that I kept adding on to my list. The supervisor for my project met me every morning at 8:00 AM to go over what the crew had done the day before, get my feedback on it and then go over what the plan was for the day. Every night when I returned home the house was extremely clean. I can't say enough how pleased I was with the work Cornerstone did for me. I already have them coming back this spring to finish a few more rooms. Their pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Cornerstone Painting!! read more
