I would not recommend this company to anyone for snow removal. Golf Meadow Estates in Woodridge IL hired them to clean out parking lots and walkways. Common sense would come while people are at work so the parking lot would be easier to get done right. We are last on the list and when they do come they don't do the job. They will take a blow through the middle of the drive then leave the rest all over making this dangerous to drive or walk to our apartment. We have to call and complain to get more done. I am disgusted and fed up. Now we have to go out and try to clean up some with shovels so we can come and go to work. I think that the owner needs to start caring for the customers. If someone gets hurt because of this crappy job they are the ones to be held responsible as our association that paid them for a service that they choose not to do right. I live in a complex in Woodridge, they are absolutely horrible. Each week they arrive I think maybe the grass will be cut properly. As always I arrive to home to see no. All I see is the track marks of the wheels. I never seen a landscaping company that provides such horrible services!!!!!!! read more

July 23, 2020 I highly recommend Cornerstone Horticultural Partners as a FULL SERVICE landscaping and maintenance partner. As I see it, just about anybody can mow your property or cut down a dead tree or even plant a tree or bushes you might have already chosen, but from our experience, CHP is much more than that. We have used CHP to remove dead trees, when the ash borer problem a few years ago killed the ash trees on our property. After consulting with CHP we chose maple trees of two different varieties, as to best compliment our home and property. CHP removed the dead ash trees and provided beautiful healthy young maple trees that are now flourishing on our property. When we wanted to add landscaping around our pool to provide us with shade and privacy, CHP was a valuable consulting partner. They provided options along with their expertise on what would look best, thrive in the setting we had and would give us the look and privacy we wanted for years to come. CHP provided a computer rendering of what that would look like in advance and once the job was done, it was a mirror image of the rendering they provided in advance. All of the trees and shrubs they recommended and planted are thriving now, quite a few years later. We have also found that when we have any bushes or trees that are damaged and/or struggling, from nature, such as fungus or bug infestation, CHP is able to tell us what might be saved with treatment vs. what would be a waste of their time and our money. We are completely, 100%, satisfied with all the work we have had done by CHP over many years. If you just need average mowing or some pre-selected bushes or trees dropped into the ground there are probably many options, but when you want something done right and can benefit from expertise, consulting and professional guidance, I can think of no other landscaping firm that I would more highly recommend than Cornerstone Horticultural Partners. Cornerstone was thorough, highly communicative, and had fantastic follow up. They have preformed two jobs for us. First, a retaining wall with pavers, grasses, and perennial installs. I should have paid attention to the review from Ruth L. My experience was similar. They were to build a retaining wall with American Heritage Boulders of varying sizes. First, they started without putting any base for the boulders (18-24 in. in diameter). I had to tell the worker that without base, the boulders will sink. Next, I asked him about back filling, and he said he was going to use dirt to back fill. Now, there are big gaps between the boulders, and not back filling with gravel and landscape fabric would allow dirt to run through upon getting wet. I could go to Home Depot, and the teenage seasonal employee could tell me how important putting a base down is when constructing a retention wall. Supervisors and Owner were dismissive to my concerns and comments. There was no English speaking supervisor on site, until I called the office. Horrible experience, and I cannot recommend Cornerstone Partners. I decided to go with them because they were local. read more

I spent a year and a half at Cornerstone Partners, and I can't say enough good things about the experience that I had while I was employed there. I was an account manager, and once I came in I was given a good portfolio of clients to start off with. A few things that I enjoyed the most while being employed was never compromising what we stood behind as a company for any client, or employee. Our name was always most important, and we would never bend the rules, or steer away from what it meant to wear the cornerstone blue everyday. Family was always first, we always made sure that we were prepared for every task that we did, and every task was always clear, and if I needed help I always got help. We always were advanced on the technology piece of it, but if there was ever any help needed with a time tracking question, or anything computer related the question could always be answered. One story that I will always tell is when we were on a deadline with a project that had to be bid on, and it was something that we prepared for all week in order to meet this deadline. Something got changed by the client, but the deadline stayed the same. Myself, my manager, and Turk all stayed the entire night, and into the next day in order to ensure that the project got turned in on time. That really opened my eyes to show me that this is a team company. They could have easily just told me that I needed to get it done, and if not then It's a big loss. They stayed by my side and helped make sure we all got the project done. This was all the time. If once of us ever had a big project we always made sure we worked together to get the job done. I left the company to pursue my coaching career, but I know that if I ever come back home to Chicago that I have a company I can call to come back to. read more
