As a local, Cornerstone has the best subs in all of Lebanon. It blows the sandwiches from the chain restaurants out of the water. Very friendly service overall, I usually come here once or sometimes twice a month. I'm always greeted with a smile and fast, friendly service. The ambiance of the restaurant is very hometown pride style, with Lebanon Yellowjacket pride all over the walls. I cannot believe I passed this place up. Delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered the Italian sandwich, toasted, and will never go to the chain sandwich shop just up the street again. The homemade bread is as so tasty and fresh along with the giant pickle slices, it was over the top yummy. I could only eat half of it because it was so big. My boys both got Stromboli, same story as the sandwich, fresh, big and super tasty. The service was amazing. Very nice and quick staff. They are filled with Lebanon pride. The walls are filled with cool pictures of local athletes. It's not the fanciest place, but it is what you would expect out of a sandwich and pizza place. Haven't eaten there in years, decided to take the grandsons, a Monday at noon. Typical pizza joint open seating booths and tables. Ordered a large pepperoni extra pepperoni and cheese garlic bread. Server was fast, polite and seemed on it. Bread came. Looked like a sub roll cut in half with butter and cheese melted on it 3 out of 5 stars. Pizza came apparently the kitchen or server got it wrong.... The cheese was so thick and ran off the pizza... very little pepperoni, even the grandsons scraped off the cheese and complained about the lack of meat, sauce was thick and didn't compliment the pizza it created a mess. That was a 2 of 5 stars for accuracy and edibility. I always try and leave a cash tip and did! Mentioned cash is better for taxes, she reminded me there are no taxes on tips, I replied oh that's right. Her response " At least that's one thing Trump can get right" well thank you for making it political! honestly, this trip broke my heart. Typically, we have friendly and above expectations waitresses and food. While the food was super good, the service was awful. My partner accidentally spilt his drink and was trying his best to clean it up. The waitress looked at the spill and walked away. I'm being nice giving two stars, my sandwich was TERRIBLE. Over $17 for a large Ruben add grilled onions and some chips. The service was the reason I gave it two stars, I hope their pizza is better and I'll go try it. The wheat bread on my sandwich tasted gluten free it was so dry and flavorless. There was more sauerkraut than meat and almost zero thousand island. True American pizza experience! Do you like salad bars with more dressing options then vegetables? How about lemon power for your water? Cornerstones has that! Don't write home just yet, because when they bring you that hot steaming pile of dough and cheese topped with your choice of toppings and grease, served with a stack of styrofoam plates. You might actually think you're at home...if you were a broke person with little too no taste. Overall it was a lunch. One last thing , No Breakfast Bacon! The restaurant itself isn't much to look at, it could use a fresh coat of paint and the carpet in the dining room needs to go but otherwise the place was doing a brisk business for a Tuesday night. I was torn between the pizza and a sub, after looking over the menu I decided on a pizza. Pepperoni and extra cheese, simple and it should tell me as a diner if they use good quality cheese and meat for their pizza. Overall I wasn't disappointed but also not terribly impressed. The pizza came out about 15 minutes after I ordered, looks good and smelled good too. The taste wasn't bad but didn't blow me away either. It was good but not great. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and the price was reasonable for what I got. I will try this place again the next time I am in Lebanon, next time I will get a sub. read more

One of the Best places to eat in Lebanon for a quick inexpensive tasty meal. All of the subs are delicious, but my favorite is the Genoa and Provolone. Half subs are about $4 and whole subs are about $7, extras are free. Their pizzas are good, too, especially as a side to round out your meal, if you have a family or a hungry boyfriend/husband . You can call in an order ahead of time (which I recommend on busy nights) or eat in. Remember to grab a menu to go, so you can call in a future order! Found this place on Yelp while visiting Bennett springs park. We drive the 15 minutes into Lebanon to get a pizza and it was worth the trip. Bread is made fresh daily and the service was wonderful. I am giving this place 5 stars, for service and small town vibe. If you are driving through for some non-chain food--this is it! We ordered two large two-topping pizzas and cheese bread for $16.99. Can't beat that deal! Seemed like they knew everyone in there and they for sure knew we were outsiders but they were super nice. Perfect small town feel and the pizza was really good. Marinara needed some salt and was nothing to scream about but the cheese bread was yummy. Pizza took awhile but was flavorful and the toppings were fresh. Seems to be a favorite of the locals. However, the building and décor are very dated and worn, though reasonably clean. We had pizza which came hot with generous toppings but otherwise *very* plain. Plain dough, soft on the bottom; plain sauce from the jar; plain topping likely from canned or frozen; Styrofoam plates; plastic cups; paper napkins. We didn't have any of the sandwiches on the menu which, if good, might bring in a regular lunch crowd in need of a quick, diner meal.
