Cold cheese inside the enchilada that was covered in a cold red sauce
    Rodney R.

Wanted to try a different place for some "Mexican" food. Photos on yelp looked good so I decided to come dine in. I ordered the enchilada plate and the guy at the register repeated back "ok, the bean and cheese enchiladas ".. I asked him to explain how they make their enchiladas, he said they come with bean and cheese. Got them to make mine with cheese and onion rolled up, and a side of chips and queso. Queso came out quick.. it was served on a small styrofoam cup.. that had the lid melted closed. Once I opened up the container, I dipped a chip into the white queso and saw how runny/watery it was. About two mins after, my plate was ready for pickup. Presentation looked amazing! I did notice when I picked up the plate to walk over to my table, the sauce was really runny. Then on my first cut into one of the large enchiladas I was a bit aside myself. The cheese stuffed inside was still cool (nowhere close to being melted), I took a bite and felt the cool was of the enchilada sauce. I'm guessing they don't serve up enchiladas like back home. The warmest item on my table was the runny queso.

$54 dollars in food. ICE COLD

NEVER ORDER IN ADVANCE. ORDER WAS PLACED AT about 3:45pm Picked up food, WAS ICE COLD. I was told we can just reheat it. It's ok. No, when you pre plan a meal and happen to arrive early and the employee tells you, no sir it's been on the counter for 30 minutes since I started my shift. Hopefully manager or owners see this review.

Three Taquitos with cheese and guacamole. A little thin on cheese and guacamole but Taquitos are very meaty and crispy.

There's a new kid in town.... An authentic style taqueria you would find out west that is conveniently located along Route 66 here in St Roberts/Waynesville area. They're still going through some opening month jitters but the food is worth going through it. If you just show up be prepared for a bit of a wait. I've started to order over the phone in order to cut down on the wait. What I love about having a "taqueria" in town is you get fast food prices but restaurant quality food. So far I've had the Taquitos, regular Taco Combo and Carne Asada. Been happy with all of them. A friend, who's from California as well, made a comment about her dishes needing more salt and I did notice that with my last meal. But I have high blood pressure so I'm ok with that. lol

Antionio's is just as delicious as our first visit! Service was quick and very friendly!

We've been here several times. Breakfast burritos are good, Taquitos were good, the birria tacos are delicious. Tried a chicken chimi, the chicken was dry but that was before they were officially open so will try again. The carne asada tacos were just ok. My husband always gets a California burrito and likes it.

All negative reviews on here are all from white people who think Taco Bell is Mexican with bland palates who think Kraft Mac n cheese is the real deal lmao. Do not take their opinion Anyway, Food is good and authentic; service is great. Place is super clean!

This is all I could eat of my food. I had to throw away the rest because I couldn't stand to eat it. This is the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. Food was bland. No flavor at all. They put all the condiments under the chimichanga so it was all mushy. It's my first and last time getting food from here. ( I've had a better chimichanga from the frozen section of Walmart)

He had a turkey club and I had a turkey avocado sandwich on multigrain. For sides we had cucumber salad, potato salad, and mac & cheese. A word of surprise, the potato salad is served warm, but it was really tasty. The only disappointment was the mac & cheese, which was grainy and soup-like with very overcooked noodles in it. They had no discernible shape and almost seemed like egg noodles oddly enough. We enjoyed our drinks, sandwiches and salads very much.

Such a cute, cozy place. It was like stepping into a warm cafe in another land…read more I started with a seasonal latte that had hints of toasted marshmallows, cinnamon, and pumpkin. Followed by a Monte Cristo. The bread was so light and fluffy. The saltiness of the meat with the sweetness of the bread and sugar with a little spread of raspberry preserves delighted the tastebuds. The side of fruit was large and seasonally appropriate. You order at the counter, where I think the owner was taking the orders and the accent definitely sounded authentic German like the name of the restaurant. She was lovely. Everything is made fresh so sit back and relax and the dining area is designed perfect for that with couches, cozy chairs and comfortable seats at the tables. I looked up what the name means: "Drachenfutter" is also a term used to describe gifts or treats that someone might bring home for their significant other when they feel guilty about coming home late or drunk. True to the "gift" part of the name, you can take yummy homemade treats home with you and they do have a section of gifts you can buy. A nice gem of a place along Historic Route 66.

Pro tip: please check their facebook page for updated hours, contact information, and menu of the day. I stopped by to place a carry out order. The team was so welcoming and friendly. That perfect sincere hospitality you don't see too much anymore. The space is absolutely adorable and comfortable. When my order was ready, I was handed a bag that easily weighed five pounds! I went with the blackberry fried chicken. This is like nothing I've ever had. The chicken was super crispy like Korean fried chicken and just covered in a sweet sticky blackberry sauce. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Every single bite was perfect. I went with the macaroni and cheese and greens for my sides. Both came served in generous portions of deliciousness. The greens might be a little spicy if you don't like heat. My order came with two cornbread muffins. The meal was a very generous and a filling one. I also picked a slice of peach cobbler cheesecake from the dessert case. While tasty, I would have preferred one or the other. Both cheesecake and cobbler in one dessert was just a little too much for me. But delicious nonetheless. I can see why this spot comes with such great accolades for food service and hospitality.

This truly is a hidden gem in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri!! We went to visit my daughter for family…read moreday and graduation from basic training and all of the drill sergeants raved about how this was the best soul food restaurant in town. They didn't lie. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was also impeccable. The waitress was so nice, and she gave us history on the restaurant and her family. There were pictures of her family on the walls, and they even had a tree branch with wooden portraits of family members (family tree). It was so cool!! The food was so good!! We had the chicken wings, greens, mac and cheese, yams, and catfish. The portion sizes were huge, so we had food to go. A person in our party had the red beans and rice and fried corn and she said the red beans and rice was some of the best she has ever had, and the sauce on the fried corn was good. The cook's husband came out and talked to us at the end of our meal and gave us some background on how he was also in the military, retired and is now working at the restaurant with his wife along with his government job. Everybody was just so nice and welcoming, and it definitely was a great experience. The prices for the food was very affordable considering the portion sizes. We have to go back in January for her next graduation. We will definitely be going back to eat there. I can taste it already!!
