I was excited to try their cereal drinks, but unfortunately, those are gone as they change their drinks bi-monthly. So I ended up getting their Matcha on tap which is vanilla bean matcha and oat milk. I got the large with the vanilla cold foam and it was $9 and some change. It was really good but a bit on the sweet side so keep that in mind. The inside is really cool and stylish with pops of bright yellow, and they have the cutest cups. Gotta come back soon! read more

Solid new coffee spot in the Riverside plaza area. We stopped by for a quick cappuccino after breakfast. Everyone inside was pretty friendly and our drink was out in just a few minutes. There's a good amount of seating inside and it was pretty packed on a holiday. The space is clean and nicely decorated. We happened to get seating at a table where you can doodle on some paper! The drink itself was pretty good as well. Overall this is a solid spot for some coffee! read more

Mikey G's was right next door to where we were at. We were able to park our car right in front do the thrift store and walk over. You can also park across the street in front of the goodwill. Right when we stepped out, we were very excited about the art on the sides of the building. They had photos of mice that were cleaning! It was very silly but cute. Once we stepped inside, we didn't immediately order. There was an old television with a webcam attached to it, to which we took a photo with. The coffee barista was very sweet and patient with us as we admired the decor and took our time looking at the menu. I decide to get their latte with vanilla bean syrup, while my fiancé got their tonic with mint. The drinks came out fairly quickly. We noticed several tables to study at with an interesting transition towards the back of the store. There were numerous people studying/doing work when we got our coffee. The coffee is strong and decent. I would say there's nothing unique about their menu; you've got the bare necessities. If you just need a good cup of joe with a quirky design, this is the place to go. Not bad for being new! read more

Finally was able to try Mikey G's today at their second location! There is parking across the street to make it easy to walk over. I ordered an iced vanilla bean matcha with 1/2 sweetener and oatmilk. The matcha was pretty good and great price. It was a little more on the milky side but still good! Service was great, the girls taking and making my order were very sweet! There is seating and space inside but this location is smaller on the inside than their other location! You know I have to pull up to a new coffee shop in Riverside. Finally stopped by this location (2nd? I think?) of Mikey G's this morning. Ended up having to park across the street at Goodwill because it was busy with the line out the door. Love the vibe and energy of the place. Yellow hues everywhere and spacious. I got the lightning milk with Reese's puffs cold foam and that cold foam seriously makes all the difference. It's literally like drinking the cereal and it's super delicious. They're card only, fine by me, but worth noting if you're tryna pay in cash. Definitely will come back to try some other stuff. I'm eyeing that lucky charms matcha. read more

New coffee shop in town! Wonderful, friendly and welcoming service. Luv how they revamped this location. Inside seating with waiting area bench and couch. Tap to pay. Traditional real coffee drinker menu, matchas and seasonal breakfast inspired drinks. Staff were very helpful customizing a drink for my liking they're awesome. It came out perfectly. The cortado was a smaller shot and will well poured latte art. Fresh bagels and cookies were available at the time we stopped in. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu. Limited street parking in front with goodwill parking lot right across the street. It's a smaller side street easily accessible. Since it's fully opened they have added bagels to this location's menu. The bagels are definitely a tasty addition and we spoke to one of the owners who confirmed they are made by them at the other location and not bought from a vendor. The blueberry cream cheese was a nice addition. The pizza bagel is an instant favorite. The staff is friendly and service is consistently fast. The drinks were so fantastic! We had the lightning milk with the Reese's puffs cold foam. It's a great balance of coffee and sweet, peanut buttery goodness without being overly sweet. The banana bread hojica tasted like your grammy's best slice of banana bread mixed with a lovely black tea latte. My first time trying hojica, but definitely would order again! I didn't taste the latte, but my friend was very happy with it. Service was friendly, made great recommendations, and prepped quickly! The vibes of the shop are rad. I love Mikey G's! My roommate and I have a tradition of trying their matcha flights every month. They always have great service and friendly employees. All their drinks are made with excellence. When drinks were ready, one drink was made incorrectly plus I wasn't sure which drink was mine since I modified it, nothing was written on cup so I could clearly distinguish it from the other drink I ordered. The best thing about my visit was the tasty bagel. Lastly worth mentioning, I'm not a fan of toddlers running around. I want to sit and enjoy my breakfast not see and hear running toddlers.
