The coffee was absolutely amazing! When I visited, the staff were friendly, though they seemed a little reserved at first. Once you interact with them, they're pleasant and welcoming. The ambiance is quiet and cozy, making it a great place to get some work done or study. I noticed a lot of Cal State Fullerton students working here, so it's definitely a popular study spot. Prices are a bit high for coffee and tea, but I truly love this place. We usually go to study since UCR has a remarkable lack of study. spaces off-campus. And, I am not a student, so don't feel comfortable going to a campus library--even though I'm a UC alum. We tend to post up a while and order the large carafe for about $25. We prefer the tea with some cream, no sweetener added. The coffee is great if you prefer coffee. It is a great deal compared to the single drinks that average $8. The desserts are great. I really like the milk cakes--they taste like tres leches and I am a big fan. The pistachio and Biscoff ones are especially good. Highly recommend and enjoy coming here. This used to be a spot I'd come to if I was in the area, but now it is the destination! Everything on the menu is delicious. I struggle to ever choose just one dessert, so we usually get a few and share. The management really makes us feel taken care of, no matter how busy it is. Overall: a cute place and concept( pretty expensive and hot or miss food ---- My number one gripe is that there were no prices on any of their items in their display case for food and desserts. How are people supposed to know how much things cost? If here is enough room to have the name of the product on it, it's not hard to put the number of dollars it costs right there next to it. The coffee was an iced pistachio latte for $8.50, and various food items that we had no idea the totals until charged for the bill, I don't remember the exact number but I was kind of shocked at the total price of everything which I think was high $30s-40s? The interior was super cute with their red chairs and their story concept on the walls. The seats were comfortable and it was pretty crowded in the coffee shop with students and people working on their laptops. The food wasn't that good. For the prices we paid I kind of expected more, especially from that chicken roll item. The chicken was very dry and the flavors were lacking. It tasted like something you can get frozen from the stores that you just microwave or air fry.I enjoyed the cheesecake, but I didn't really like the pistachio milk cake, it tasted Joe they just mixed their milk solution with pistachio pudding powder (based off of the to bright/unnatural green color of it) and didn't flavor it with any real pistachio nuts. I enjoyed the coffee as well however I feel that the prices of everything was expensive especially when we didn't even know the prices of 3/4 of the things we purchased. I understand that we can ask how much each thing cost but how annoying would it be to ask about every single one. It would be very annoying and such a hassle for the cashier too. On the plus side parking is easy bc it shares it in a pretty big plaza. Was pleasantly surprised by this coffee spot. The service was spectacular and the ambiance was fantastic. The inside of this spot is so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately I was unable to stay but it was so nice. I got the matcha latte and added lavender. It was very delicious. Prob the best matcha I've had thus far. I also got the biscoff cheesecake and it did not disappoint. It was super creamy and not too sweet. I will definitely be going back and try the other pastries and coffee. My iced Qamaria latte tasted better than I had expected it to be! I liked the balance of sweetness, coffee strength, and spices. It seems like they've got the recipe down to satisfy as many palates as possible haha, you can't go wrong with this drink. There was a long line, but it moved fast. Staff worked quickly to accommodate the influx of customers (it got crowded and stuffy in there!). The friendly gentleman who took my order was informative and seasoned in customer service. We also tried a few of the sweet treats. The pistachio milk cake and baklava were delicious. Brownie cookie and rose milk cake were decent. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Music was playing, and it was just a nice ambiance, very cute decor, loved the couches. They have tables as well. This cafe is beautiful. It's not as large as their other location in Rancho Cucamonga, but that doesn't affect my time spent here. They still offer the same sweets and drinks. The cakes and Turkish coffee are the stand out items on the menu. My favorite is the rose milk cake and the Qumaria and rose lattes. Everything is really good though. What stands out at this location is the hospitality and customer service. I've never experienced a more welcoming or generous exchange as I have here. My first impression of this coffee shop located in University Village was that' it's popular!! At 4 p.m. on a Tuesday it was completely packed except for one seat (mine, thank you). My second impression was that it was beautifully decorated, with good lighting both overhead and natural, comfortable seating options (stools, chairs and cushiony pretty couches), clean bathrooms (ask for the code), and best of all the staff. I happened to mention that it was my first time visiting and the gentleman (perhaps the owner?) thanked me for coming and generously offered my a free pastry! I chose the pistachio baklava to accompany my hibiscus refresher. He was so friendly and nice. After paying, you get a pager that buzzes when your order is ready, which arrives on a beautiful tray to carry to your table. I appreciated the two large containers with ice water for self-serve to supplement your hydration at the front counter. The pistachio baklava (5/5) were crispy and flaky on the outside dense with pistachio goodness on the inside and well soaked in honey--high quality, delicious, some of the best I've tasted. The hibiscus refresher at 100% sweetness was refreshing and just right. ( you can ask for less sweetness as you like). About an hour later, I realized that my phone only had 10% charge left and I had neglected to bring a charger with me. Here I was in a cafe full of college students, most of whom had chargers on display (but clearly using them), so I chanced going up to the front and Ranaa if she could do me an unusual favor? Without hesitation, she offered to lend me her charger. So kind and above and beyond! I returned it to her a half hour later and she simply smiled and said she was glad to be of help. Wow . I really enjoyed my leisure reading today, even more so because this cafe was so hospitable. If I lived closer I'd be here all the time! As it is, I will return when I can! read more

There is a good reason why this location is always so packed out! The kindness, drinks, snacks, ambiance, and attention to detail are truly unmatched in any other cafe. My go to orders have been the Qamaria Latte or the Adeni, a little less sweet for both. They are always consistent and well caffeinated. Their refreshers, although on the pricier side, are amazing as well if you are opting out of caffeine. They taste fresh while not being too sweet. I highly recommend their saffron milk cake; I always look forward to this treat. The cream on top compliments the milky cake so well, and the subtle saffron flavor is just not found elsewhere. Many cafes have good drinks or food, but Qamaria Yemeni, with their attention to detail and kindness, have truly set themselves apart. Nearly every table has an outlet, and there is a greatly appreciated range of seats and tables to choose from to match your party size and goal. I love coming here to get my coffee/dessert treat afterward a meal. This is a busy spot since a lot of UCR students come to study here. Depending on the time of day, you might not find a spot to sit in inside. There are a lot of employees working so it's pretty quick to get your drinks, but I have had to wait about 20 minutes during the busy rushes. I typically get an oat milk pistachio iced latte. It's not very strong in coffee flavor, as the pistachio cream flavor dominates, but it's still very tasty. It's sweat and creamy. I would suggest adding an extra shot of espresso or doing less pistachio cream since the price is already $8 and change. The other coffee I really like is the Turkish coffee. If you've never had Turkish coffee before, keep in mind that it's a bolder flavor and that it's a small portion. There's something for everyone here so I highly recommend stopping by. read more

We came at the perfect time as there was no line and were greeted warmly. It was around 6:15pm and were able to grab a table for the 3 of us. Place is nice and clean. Lots of outlets for working/ studying. It was a bit noisy but not overtly loud. Here's what we ordered. Mango cheesecake: 7/18 not bad but not amazing. Needed more mango flavor. Maybe add puree in the mix. Biscoff tres leches cake: 8/10 not sweet if that's what you're looking for. I would have liked it to be a bit more wet and would have liked the topping to be thicker as the ratio seemed a bit off. Mocha coffee add cold foam: 8/10 I liked it. It isn't worth 9+ dollars for a small size. I would never order this again for the price. Also, they don't make their syrups on house. Only the brown sugar is what I was told. Pistachio late: 7/10 again 9+ dollars and not worth the price. Matcha late: haven't tasted yet. Brought home for tomorrow. We spent nearly $50.00 for 3 drinks and two desserts. Would we come back to try other things. Maybe, but not worth the costs. If you are going to charge premium pricing, please make your syrups / sauces. The brand of syrups visible are the same ones that klatch and other places use. But 8-9+ dollars for a small coffee, no thank you. If it was to go meet a friend and hand out, maybe. read more

I came to try the coffee and treats w my 3 year old for a girls day. I had the iced pistachio latte and we got a slice of coffee cake. My daughter liked the cake so much she said "can I have this for my birthday, a whole cake!"
