I sold a property listed by corona realty. I requested the closing statement prior to the closing - I got nothing I attended the closing - they staged an unlawful dry closing - I reviewed the closing statement- and was informed at their lawyers office - i had to pay a $1400 miscellaneous fee. I refused to make that payment. I was told that if I did not pay it. I would be forced to cancel the transaction. and I'd have to pay corona realty the commission structure due to default on my part. I was frauded. I was ripped off. and I was ignored about any type of resolution or anything to remedy the situation. these people are pumping fees that I've never seen before, in my 75 + closing experiences. corona realty caters to inexperienced buyers and sellers - it is a con game and switch and bait show.., be cautious and do not trust anyone at Corona Realty read more

The office is very nicely designed and decorated. Corona Realty put on a really nice, FREE community event.. Bingo night. It was completely free. They served pizza and drinks, and there were prizes. It was a great time and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to future events with Corona Realty. read more

Since alex corona thinks blocking me on fb will stop me from exposing his shady business practices here you go: I applied for a rental through them and had to give them over the necessary amount of information than the usual rental process. Although me and my partner have more than the adequate credit, rental history and income for the place we applied for we were denied, but alex personally told me I wouldn't find anywhere in blue island that I was looking for for less than 2k. I found a place on my own so that's a lie. He said the landlord decided to rent to someone else, but a month after my application was denied I was offered the rental again so I guess no one ever moved in, another lie. Since living in blue island I've gotten involved in the community and talked to others in real estate. This man is shady. I've heard everything about how he takes advantage of poor people, sells houses that are lemons, doesn't even have a real estate license in his name, and even illegally enrolls his children in our schools whe they should be in orland, quite literally doing a disservice to his own children. I will continue to warn anyone who listens about how shady this man is. His office is run down and smells, he has a parrot in his office that is clearly being neglected, and I suspect he has substance abuse issues since the way he talks and acts is a mile a minute. Any and all Management Companies, Real Estate Company's and potential Renters BEWARE. Agents are trying to get only 1 person to put in an application even though it may be another person over 18 going to live in apartment or house if the others credit scores aren't up to par. Once confronted about what happens when you are confronted by Landlord about others over 18 and not on Lease they will take no responsibility for you getting EVICTED or the others that are not on Lease!!! Before you sign Lease make sure the Landlord knows how many 18 and under will be living there so a month up the road you're not having legal issues and Corona Realty acting like they don;t know who you are or how that happened!! read more

Sooo, my boyfriend and I went here to view an apartment for rent they advertised on Facebook Marketplace and on several other renting sites. I received a call from some guy named Alex who stated he would need w2s, bank statements and a whole bunch of other personal things. I told him I would not feel comfortable bringing these documents because I haven't viewed the apartment yet. He stated that it would be fine. Then I get another call from a lady named Rachel who confirmed my appointment that I had made with Alex and told me to bring the same documents. I told her that I don't feel comfortable bring those documents and I haven't even seen the apartment. She stated that she only wants them to see what i qualify for (yea whatever). My boyfriend and went to the office thinking we were going to meet them at the office and drive to the apartment so we can view it. Nope. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Rachel and she sat us down and asked us where our documents were. I told her that I mentioned that I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing those documents for a place I haven't view yet. She stated that she needs to see what I qualified for so we won't be "driving around Chicago" . I told her I wanted to view 1 apartment they had in Blue Island they I knew I could afford. She insisted on us having our documents and I felt pressured and uncomfortable and left. She looked offended but I didn't care because her and her staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Also, in the days leading up to the appointment we had with Rachel, Alex was texting me and sending me "updates" I guess about one of the apartments I requested to view. Stating that things needed fixing but should be ready soon. I thought it was weird because still I haven't viewed anything yet, but I was still polite and said thank you. Then the day before the appointment he send me a picture of some flooring stuff in a room and states that he's almost done with whatever but needs help getting materials back and offered me money to help. Idk maybe he texted the wrong person but the whole experience with this company was sketchy af! read more

Don't trust this company, I'm a disabled veteran that was taken advantage of by this company. I first went to seek a Veterans Home Loan and instead they put my in an apartment at 13446 Chatham St. Apt#2, Blue Island, IL, 60617. For two years I paid fully and on time. And as of February I was pressured into signing a lease for 03/31/2024. They are trying to keep my deposit because the land lady wants me to pay while she finds another tenant. I was told that why should she lose money while finding a renter. That's not responsibility to pay her bills. She's threatened to kick me out with the police even though I paid til 03/31/2024. The apartment never was worked on and they never fixed issues for the two years I was there and now want to charge me for their responsibility. Please don't trust them. The house was never with a property manager but they would threatened me and my family as if they were. Once I went to court is when I was told that Corona Realty was not the property manager but they gave me the lease and took the deposit in the business office. Ask them whatever questions you need not to get taken advantage from. Next review, IL add the text messages proving everything said. read more

Gave it one star because I had to! Agent never came to pick up sons rent. After I sat outside yesterday for 45min. So I left. A neighbor had said they would be there today. And they were late again. So a young gal came. And I asked if she had a receipt? She said no. So I told her I would not give her cash without a receipt. And left. So here comes this guy Alex. So I told him I needed a receipt. He didn't have one. So I said oh I cannot pay you. He says well then you have to come to my office an pay it. I'm not doing that. You have wasted two days of my time. Now if you know you collect money and are in this business you should know to bring recites. After he told me I had to go to them. I said I don't I don't live here. He says well I will have to put down you don't follow orders. Really. From you. I don't think so. And I told him off. I drove off called owner in Mexico and told him how horrible his attitude is and why I was mad. So I said hmm let run run an get a money order. So I go back and he says I can't take that. Really, you will take it. I'm not playing games with this group. So he took it. And I drove off. I just acquired two homes and paid them off and looking for another and an apartment building. I can tell you this. I would never use this group. Thank the Lord I went with Town and Country realty the lady was so wonderful and bought two houses in one day. My first thought was to go with this group when purchasing homes a friend recommended them. Glad I didn't. Hopefully I will not have this issue again when I pay next months rent for my disabled child. read more

Let them know my situation sent over what was asked for and Oscar advised me meet them at their business. Walked in no one was wearing a mask for one. Then as soon as I talk to Oscar he shoves a mortgage application in my face. All I came for was to see the place I wanted to see. So I'm like that's no why I'm here and then he says the place I wanted to see that's still on Facebook Marketplace right now has been rented out. Then he proceeds to ask me the same questions about what I'm looking for and pushes me to try to run an application when I have no idea of what they have to offer. A huge waste of time!!!! Everyone I encountered at this office were very pleasant and welcoming. I had the privilege of meeting with Josselyn. She was extremely helpful. She seemed to be very knowledgeable and was very patient as I asked a lot of questions. I am hopeful that she will be successful in helping us find a new place to call home. read more
