It is clear he really cares about his patients and wants to help them as much as he can. His office is also very helpful and makes it easy to book appointments and deal with paperwork. During and after this year's visit it felt like he was overwhelmed. A nurse asked me what questions I had for him before he saw me. I also didn't receive my lab results with his comments in the mail like I usually do. I inquired about that via email. A call came at the end of the day from the office but no message was left. The most maddening part of dealing with his office is obtaining scripts for 360 tablets for maintenance meds. The convenience of receiving an (almost) year's supply of meds all at once as well as the quantity discount outweighs 90 day scripts will refills that are normally covered by insurance. In a good year it takes two phone calls as well as requests in person to obtain the correct 360 pill script. This year it took two in person requests, five phone calls and some gaslighting from a member of his staff who insisted last year's scripts were only written for 90 days. Next year I'll take the empty bottles with me and confirm that I want the same thing.

There is a good atmosphere- everyone seems happy to be there. I worked with Sarah, Jessica, and Andreas. I liked that I had the opportunity to be seen by different therapists. They were all very capable and knowledgeable and happy to share what they know and answer questions. Most importantly, they helped me get better! In my few months there, I felt like I was getting a workout tailored just for me (which I was). I learned so much about what exercises I need to do to keep my body in good working order. Not only did they fix my back, but they helped me with a nagging hip pain that wasn't bad enough to send me to the dr. but was related to the back issue, and also helped me learn to walk the right way. The great thing is that now I know what to do when/if things go wrong again. I have a whole list of strength training exercises I can do at home tailored to what my body needs, and stretches too. I wouldn't hesitate to go here if you have any kind of physical ailment needing PT.

Communication needs improvement…read more I called early to say I was not feeling well (just had major orthopedic surgeries due to a hit and run accident - car on body - not car on car). I wanted to know if an appointment could be moved without triggering an insurance penalty / fine - because I'm a conscientious person and didn't want complications. Also called and left several messages requesting an answer to that question. I never got an answer so, despite not feeling well, I drove over (half hour each way given traffic) for the appointment. I arrived and found out they cancelled my appointment without telling me and gave it to someone else. Then they effectively made me out to be the bad guy if I requested they keep my scheduled appointment because the person to whom they gave my appointment was "elderly". Finally, they suggested I sit in the waiting room for an hour so they could "squeeze me in" later. As if they were doing me a favor. That was not workable. So an hour of rush hour driving and a day wasted - for nothing - because they couldn't return a phone call or email or text. Not awesome. Otherwise they seem like very nice people.

As a 47-year-old perimenopausal woman dealing with metabolic health issues, I came to strength…read moretraining from a very different perspective than someone who already enjoys the gym or athletics. I had never strength trained before and was honestly intimidated by the entire experience. I worried about getting injured, looking foolish because I didn't know what I was doing, and whether the effort would actually produce meaningful results. I started training with Christian in late April, and I have been genuinely surprised by the progress I've made. Physically, I've dropped a clothing size in both pants and tops, and my DEXA scans show that I've increased lean mass and bone density while losing weight in a calorie deficit, which is especially meaningful to me at this stage of life. Beyond the visible changes, I've also seen improvements in several health markers, which was one of my primary goals going into this process. For me, strength training wasn't about athletic performance--it was about improving my long-term health. One of the biggest reasons I've been successful is the coaching itself. I have low blood pressure and can become lightheaded during heavier lifts, and I also need careful attention to form and knee positioning to avoid injury while still being challenged appropriately. I don't think I would push myself safely or effectively on my own. Christian does an excellent job of finding that balance between encouragement, proper technique, and progressive overload. One of the strongest endorsements I can give is that he has developed a program tailored specifically to my goals, my health concerns, and my abilities. Over time, that has built a level of trust that allows me to focus on the work itself, knowing that each session is designed to move me safely and effectively forward. He is also genuinely passionate about what he does. Every session includes explanations about physiology, training, and conditioning, which I particularly appreciate because I came into this with almost no strength training knowledge. If you're someone who feels intimidated by the gym, is dealing with health concerns, or simply wants knowledgeable coaching that meets you where you are, I highly recommend working with Christian.

I decided to reach out and see if they could help with the pain and hopefully get me feeling better sooner. Going into my first appointment, I had zero expectations. I was honestly just hoping for some relief and to be able to move around without feeling like I was 90 years old . But wow, they really exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so welcoming from the moment I walked in. Dr. Jordan and Team SP took the time to listen to what happened, figure out where I was hurting, and really assess my injury. I never felt rushed or like they were just trying to get me in and out. What surprised me the most was how much better I felt after each session. I could actually feel the difference after every visit, and it gave me a lot of hope that I was finally on the right track to recovering. Because of the treatment plan they gave me, I was able to swing a golf club again and move around much more comfortably! I really appreciate how much care and attention they put into their clients. You can tell they genuinely want to help you feel better and take the time to make sure you understand what's going on. I'm really glad I decided to come here. I went in with zero expectations and ended up feeling way better than I thought I would! If you're dealing with an injury or pain and looking for a place where they actually listen to you and take the time to help, I definitely recommend coming to Sports Performance!

Unless you meet with her yourself, you will never know how kind, caring, and attentive she is. I have not been with a doctor in recent years who cares so much about her patients. You don't have to wait 2 1/2 months to see her. How about only days, not months? She listens to everything you have to say and then acts according to your wishes. Not next week, not next month, but the same day. She has even called me at home to follow up on important labs and health referrals. How refreshing this is in a time of 20-minute doctor visits with a doctor who is so overwhelmed with patients and bureaucracy that he is hard to reach in an emergency (most of them). I highly recommended Drs. Considine. The trip to Coronado is worth it. And, they just might take your insurance!

I asked if I could be refunded for last appt because of what happened to my son and me needing to leave after 10min of being seen. The man at the front desk could have cared less about any of this and just gave me a number to call. People are human and there is no room for it at PRN, they are rigid and have zero grace. I've also overheard the front desk talking about people they are annoyed with there. Also, there is zero free parking. The whole thing is just a big pain in the butt if you are required to be seen by PT more than once a week. It's a shame for the main PT there because he seemed very knowledgeable and hard working.
