What's more, we were left high and dry by another company on Friday afternoon and needed everything set up the following Monday morning. Daniel was incredibly responsive, and provided detailed and reasonable pricing. We were able to fine tune the details and he promised his staff would be there to set up first thing Monday morning. Luke and Yavik completed the setup efficiently and took feedback about placement of cameras and microphones. As a result remote viewers had a perfect bird's eye view of the proceedings. Switching A/V contractors midstream was--albeit stressful--the best decision I made in planning my event . I was putting on a VERY high-dollar 500-person event at the Santa Clara Convention Center Mission City Ballroom. I was originally working with PSAV, the Convention Center's in-house A/V shop, but was disappointed with the lack of customer service and delay in response. I contacted Daniel Wisholek at Corporate AV and immediately felt at ease. I could not have felt more comfortable with their level of service--especially as compared to PSAV who was generally unable to answer my questions or even respond to them in a timely manner. Daniel was able to strategize with me and provide me with four different quotes just on the first day of talking with him. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and asked the right questions to make sure that the event went off without a hitch. He was also friendly, easy to work with, and incredibly responsive. In addition to the quality level of service and products, Corporate AV cost significantly less than PSAV. I was looking for a local place to rent a projector and screen... thanks to Yelp, I've found Corporate AV! Daniel assisted me in taking my reservations and has offered a great price for the rental. What's awesome is the service and their rental policy. Most rental charges you by the day regardless which day it is. Corporate AV does NOT consider the weekend as a day or even two days! I was charged one day rental from Friday pickup to Monday drop off. That's sooo freaking awesome! Their service was right on! Daniel was considerate and offered a great deal for the rental. As soon as I arrived, his team brought out the projector and screen right away and assisted in loading the screen in my SUV. I've already reserved the projector and screen for my next event. i needed to rent a lighting kit at the last minute for a wedding i was shooting and Corporate AV had what I needed available. Their office is local and open to the public. the rental process was fast and easy. Their kit was ad advertised and had more items in it that I expected. The only knock would be their retail hours, but it seems as though it isn't their bread and butter, they are more corporate set up vs. individual rentals. read more

Corporate AV rented me a flat screen, stand, Arri light kit, and pipe for drape last week in San Mateo. They were on time with the delivery, even though a mix-up on our end delayed our arrival for a couple of hours. They returned a couple of hours later to drop of the gear. On the load out, they were on time as well. The rates were a lot more reasonable than I expected being in the San Francisco metroplex; and the gear was all delivered in great condition. Corporate AV did the sound system for my daughter's wedding at the Mountain Winery. There were 2 outdoor locations to set up - the Vista Deck where we had the ceremony, and the Chateau Deck where we had the reception. We booked an AV technician from them as well to man the system during the wedding, similar to corporate events. We did not want a band or DJ, so used music off of playlists on the MAC for the reception, and live music with a violin and cello for the ceremony. Corp AV did a wonderful job at every phase. All the communications was through email - I never needed to go in to talk to anyone. Michael Davidson, my contact, was extremely responsive - I usually heard back within a few hours, and never longer than a day, even on weekends. I outlined our general needs, and he sent back complete proposals for all the equipment needed, including spare wireless mics, mic shields to avoid wind noise at outdoor locations, etc etc. He knew exactly what would be needed for our outdoor ceremony,and the best setup to amplify each type of instrument. On the day, the setup crew was ontime, quick and efficient. The AV tech (Christian) managed the sound very well at the ceremony, and though some participants spoke far louder than others he kept the volume just right. At the reception, the speakers were set up around the dance floor, and the music was loud enough to keep the dancers going, but Christian kept it at a level that people at the tables could carry on their conversations, which really made a difference to everyone. I've been at a lot of weddings where as soon as the dancing started, non-dancers could just as well leave since the volume is at such a ear-shattering level. Overall, great attention to detail from the AV tech. I'd recommend them for any event, and will go back to them in the future. read more

I was throwing a celestial theme party for my daughter's first birthday. I wanted it to be fantastic while staying in budget. I checked a number of places for lighting and decoration ideas and finally I saw CorpAv site and found it to be very competitive. I initially spoke with Daniel who gave me pretty cost effective ideas. After that, Jack finalized rentals and one of their representative visited the place with some sample lightings. I hired another decorator and even they mentioned that they can't beat corpav pricing, so I rented all uplights and gobo lights from CorpAV. Although during the setup, we realized that one of the gobo light is not working. Jack promptly sent one technician with one extra projector. He fixed it but again it went down during the party. I'm not sure if the lights were faulty or we didn't put it right. I'm still giving them 4 stars because of their pricing and good customer service. read more
