I work in Redwood Shores at the Sobrato Nonprofit Center and needed additional microphones for a convening I was hosting. I stumbled accros The Audio Guy by chance and hit the jack pot! Guy, the guy behind The Audio Guy, is reliable, helpful and knowledgeable. He came to the center to look at the sound system to ensure the microphones would connect well. It turned out I have a closed systemm and had to get an additional set of speakers along with the michrophones. I would have not learned that if he had not taken the time to understand my needs for the event. He was timely, reliable, solid setting it all up, training me on the basics and picking up the equipment on a timely manner. After our regular vendor ghosted us for an annual fundraiser, I reached out to Guy based on his reviews. I was so impressed with his customer service before, during, and after the event. We had a detailed conversation prior to the event to determine our needs. The price was very reasonable. I picked up the equipment. I got a call the night before the event to make sure there weren't any concerns or questions. That was a very nice touch. The event went off without any technical issues. Guy was very professional, prompt, and his prices are very reasonable. We had a party of 130 or so guests with a VIP type of guest list and a high profile speaker we were preparing for. Our own sound system was not up to the task and last minute, Guy came out and set us up, giving us expert advice and options and doing the final setup and take down the next day. The event went very well with the ability for a question and answer session with one wireless mic being passed around and one wired mic for our 90 year old guest speaker. For our March 23, 2019 wedding, Guy took on the challenge of providing a sound system for our beach bluff wedding in Marina, Ca. Despite the windy conditions, our guests were able to hear our wedding, for which we are all grateful. He provided a lapel microphone for our pastor and a stand-alone microphone for our speakers, and all went well. Prior to the event, Guy visited the venue to get an idea of the layout, and he set up the sound system for out wonderful harpist, Adele Stinson, who provided a beautiful accompaniment to our luncheon celebration in the resort's Cannery Room. Within less than 20 minutes I was in communication with him and let him know what our audio needs were. Guy is a professional at what he is doing and a nice person also! I needed a sound system at an event we had for our church and needed to rent out a school gym that had no sound sys. So I called Guy and he came out and was there on time and set up his sound sys which included 4 speakers, mics with stands, etc. We were able to play music off a computer and had no issue listening to the guest speaker. Guy Bailey runs a top-notch business. I contacted Guy to provide a sound system for my outdoor wedding ceremony. As a musician, the sound setup was especially important to me. I had a good amount of musicians participating in the ceremony that needed amplification. I had 5 vocalists, keys, and a guzheng player. I also requested 3 lapel mics for the officiant, my husband, and myself. He provided all of it and for a reasonable price. He was an hour and a half early for setup and he took care of it all during the ceremony as well as breaking everything down so I had nothing to worry about. It was a small party that we had at our house and all I wanted to do was mike our piano wirelessly so the guests who were in the garden could hear the music. I didn't have much luck finding someone who would do that small a job until I talked to Guy. He was totally down to earth and affordable.
