We have booked Vegas (twice), Cancun, Puerto Morelos (twice), Punta Cana (twice), Jamaica and Puerto Vallarta. Last time I called I worked with Shawn, and she was the best! I had a specific time for a vacation, a budget and higher expectations to satisfy a birthday trip. She checked all the boxes, all while having the upmost of patience with me while I whittled thru the possibilities. She is already looking for another trip for us for Christmas. We have referred friends to work with The Vacation Superstore and I forward the weekly emails to all my friends looking for a vacation. The service Shawn provides is top notch! I did not know that this agency does not book directly with the resort; they use a larger agency, Funjet Vacations, to book. In January, I called to ask how to access my reservation on the resort website so I could confirm my request for double beds and have our 4 rooms located close to each other. Barb was out of the office. John answered my phone call. He told me he would get back to me with the answer. Even after follow-up with him, he did not respond to my request. At 3:30 a.m. on the morning of travel we got an email notice that our flight out of Omaha was delayed 4 hours which meant we would not be able to make our connecting flight. I called the agency for help. The on-call agent told me that she called American Airline and was put on an 8-hour hold. She told me to go to the airport and work this out ourselves. There are 11 of us traveling. She did not help us look for other options. We looked online and could not find any flights for 11 people that day. I called American Airline and made travel arrangements myself. I was not on hold for 8 hours. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule flights for the next day. Barb told me that because we changed flights without their help, they would no longer help us with the airline booking.

Given that I have a unique middle name, I made sure to spell it for her over the phone. When I received my tickets, she spelled the name wrong. I immediately alerted her of her mistake, and she ordered me new tickets. These tickets were $100 more than I originally paid, and she would not reimburse me even though it was her own negligence that led to this. On top of that, it was her responsibility to make sure that everyone in my class was on all of the same flights, but to my surprise, she gave me a different return flight home from everyone else in my group. When I emailed her about it, she ignored me. I cannot stress enough that if you want to use a travel agent, do not use Laura Dennis. If you do want to use her, make sure you've got a basic name and are traveling solo, otherwise she will mess it all up and then never get back to you.

Wedding planning was tough but with the help of Tracy, the honeymoon planning was super easy. We picked a destination that not a lot of people typically go and she helped us customize our trip to fit our needs. She also was very patient with us when we ran into some small problems overseas. The last time I called, I did not call his direct number, I told my sad story of not getting called back to the person who answered and I said I hope nothing has happened to Corey, and she said "No, he's here..I'll transfer you.
