Of course I needed to stock up on my stash of pumpkin seeds, trail mix, and other nuts that I love to snack on at home or while on the go. Check out was interesting, so used to being directed as to which check out register to head over to. This location customers can pick any checkout counter they wish. So I heard about Corrado's and how they made their own meals... called, Power Meals. For the price of one meal you are getting a lot of food! The menu gives you the option for 1 protein and 2 sides. You can add extra's, but my suggestion is don't get too crazy because the price goes higher and it would not be beneficial. The container is big enough that you can cut the portion into half and get two meals out of it. And, for the price of $9 (with tax) that's a truly great deal. The extra 10 min drive to Shop Rite was worth it because we saved money. We were able to find most of our items for a reasonable price. Here in Clifton every department is bigger, better, cleaner and brighter (and most importantly... fresher!) than the one in my ZIP code. (Most noticeable - the seafood department is making the honor roll with an "A" grade but the Stop & Shop in my hometown is maybe - maybe! - a C+.  When this shopping center is firing on all cylinders it's madness all around (good luck driving, parking, the speed bumps and all the people with zero qualms to step in front of moving traffic!) but if you can swing in here early enough... it's not bad at all.

They just have good produce, a smattering of market items (good, healthy options) and THIS IS WHERE YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION - a full-time sushi chef that churns out the best sushi around, restaurant or not. Yes, a small bodega will give you excellent sushi in a plastic container and you won't have to overpay for it.
