    Pretty spring flowers!

This Stop & Shop is a good market for all basics. It's actually much better stocked than it's sister S&S on Kingsland Road. This S&S is very clean. Also, prices are less than some other area markets. It's best to log on to their app.and clip on their special coupons. Please don't forget to redeem your App."GO" points because you can receive a lot of money off your next purchase. You can use the "GO" points for gas purchases too. Your "GO" points add up quickly on purchases. Do keep an eye on your "GO" points because the do expire. Their Delicious Deli Ready Made Egg Salad on a Croissant and Endangered Species Chocolate Bars are Must Haves!!! A large parking lot is available.

Upon arrival there was no wait lines to complete shopping. The freezer isle was pretty empty as well as the non diary milk section. All other isles were decently stocked. Service personnel were very friendly make my shopping experience pleasant. Cleanliness 5/5 Sanitation r/t pandemic 3/5 Service personnel 5/5 Overall experience 4/5

Have been pretty happy with Stop n Shop in Clifton. The have higher prices but they are less crowded than shop rite and the parking lot is safer than ShopRites parking lot where my car always got hit or dinged. Very convenient location. Also has a pharmacy and bank inside.

    Exactly what we wanted

This review is only for the Floral Department.... If you are in need of centerpieces you need to go see Andrea-she is awesome! Long story short I was supposed to get them done elsewhere and after the sample came back terribly (I could have done a better job) and only a week before the event I was scrambling to find someone else to do it....luckily my mom knew Andrea did great worked and she was able to come to the rescue! She put together beautiful hydrangea and rose centerpieces and was so great to work with. She put my mind at ease after the frantic mess I became after the first place.

It's literally 10° outside yet everyone was out shopping. It looked like a concert in the grocery store. There's a floral shop with balloons for special occasions the moment you walk in the door. There's 13 aisles of grocery items, a meat section, cheese section, a egg corner, seafood section, hot food bar, bakery, and deli. The extra 10 min drive to Shop Rite was worth it because we saved money. We were able to find most of our items for a reasonable price. Today while checking out after I put all my items on the belt and waiting to move forward I was using the cart to keep my balance an employee came to collect the single small basket and pulled the cart away from me and I fell backwards smacking my head and arms trying to stop myself. embarrassed I said I was ok. That was my first mistake. the guy picked up the basket and ran off. The head cashier I guess not sure asked if I was to go to security to right a report. again being embarrassed I said what good would that do. I will never shop here again

It's very convenient to have right down the street, no need to pop onto a highway. Some of the reviews say the prices are higher, and that may be true. Lucky Farmers Market is a non-descript bodega perched in a four deep mini-mall on Bloomfield Ave. in Verona (co-occupied by Subway and double Krauszers). Sounds awesome, right? Actually, it is. Inside is where you actually get lucky.* Fresh fruit and vegetables in droves for way less than your not-so-supermarket. From gargantuan Asian pears to three kinds of cucumbers to berries of all kinds, Lucky will not let you down on the fruit and vegetable end. This is not a full market so don't get all, "That dude said this place had everything," because they don't have everything. They just have good produce, a smattering of market items (good, healthy options) and THIS IS WHERE YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION - a full-time sushi chef that churns out the best sushi around, restaurant or not. Yes, a small bodega will give you excellent sushi in a plastic container and you won't have to overpay for it. If you take anything from this, just get the Tuna/Salmon sandwich sushi and thank me later. Lucky is my go-to spot for the items I rely on - fruit, vegetables and sushi. I do the bulk of my shopping at a regular, large and fat market, but I get all my fruit and vegetables here and I get dinner here 2x a week, every week. Everyone who runs this place and works here is super friendly and a pleasure to see every day. In a pinch, you can get flowers here which actually last a while too. What else is there to say? If you don't ever have a reason to go to Lucky Farmers Market, no one will care (not even your Mom), but if you do have a chance to swing by with fruits, vegetables, sushi or something interesting in mind you just might have found your spot. ____________________ *Well, you might not get lucky if you are thinking something other than groceries or sushi, but I get Lucky almost every day.

Their deli workers were incompetent and rude…read more They not only got the price for my first order wrong, they told me to "Calm down" when I corrected them. Instead of apologizing for the error, they attack the customer. Who does this? Considering their high prices and lack of choices, you'd think customer service would be paramount. Instead, they overcharge and insult you to boot. I'd suggest never going there. Try the ACME or Whole Foods instead. The prices are lower and the quality is comparable. Kings doesn't live up to the name. You're not treated like one, but rather like a peasant.

I just want to share my experience having had some Thanksgiving dishes "catered" yesterday…read more First of all, everything comes "chilled" (refrigerated or frozen? when was it made? No idea). This is stated in a note at the bottom of the catering tab. At no point in the description of any food or in the process of placing the order is anything stated about the food not arriving hot and needing to be cooked . Should I have read the website more carefully? Should I have called to ask questions? Maybe. But catering is expected to be cooked fresh and hot imo and if that's not the case it should be clearly and boldly stated at every step of the ordering process. Now I was charged $25 for a delivery fee for a delivery that was taken 1 mile down the road. I expected Kings to make the delivery but it was actually handed off to DoorDash. Now, I order from DoorDash all the time and it would not cost me $25 for that delivery so where did the money go? Also, I have my own DoorDash account and a subscription that allows me not to pay delivery fees. If my food was coming through DoorDash, then let me use MY account and save on the delivery fee! It just doesn't make any sense. The food came cold as stated, which was unexpected and annoying. In addition, two side dishes were sent in plastic containers that were not oven safe. So you have to cook it AND you need pans to cook it in. The turkey came in a very cheap tinfoil pan that was oven safe but it had a hole in the bottom, which leaked all the juices. At first I thought they spilled out from the top, but after placing the turkey in the oven with stock (which I needed to have and fortunately did) it started dripping from the bottom, causing my oven to smoke. Overall, the lack of transparency in this transaction was very disappointing and I feel ripped off, especially concerning the delivery. The food, for what it's worth was good, after I took care of preparing it myself.
