Pretty spring flowers!

This Stop & Shop is a good market for all basics. It's actually much better stocked than it's sister S&S on Kingsland Road. This S&S is very clean. Also, prices are less than some other area markets. It's best to log on to their app.and clip on their special coupons. Please don't forget to redeem your App."GO" points because you can receive a lot of money off your next purchase. You can use the "GO" points for gas purchases too. Your "GO" points add up quickly on purchases. Do keep an eye on your "GO" points because the do expire. Their Delicious Deli Ready Made Egg Salad on a Croissant and Endangered Species Chocolate Bars are Must Haves!!! A large parking lot is available.

Upon arrival there was no wait lines to complete shopping. The freezer isle was pretty empty as well as the non diary milk section. All other isles were decently stocked. Service personnel were very friendly make my shopping experience pleasant. Cleanliness 5/5 Sanitation r/t pandemic 3/5 Service personnel 5/5 Overall experience 4/5

Have been pretty happy with Stop n Shop in Clifton. The have higher prices but they are less crowded than shop rite and the parking lot is safer than ShopRites parking lot where my car always got hit or dinged. Very convenient location. Also has a pharmacy and bank inside.

This review is only for the Floral Department.... If you are in need of centerpieces you need to go see Andrea-she is awesome! Long story short I was supposed to get them done elsewhere and after the sample came back terribly (I could have done a better job) and only a week before the event I was scrambling to find someone else to do it....luckily my mom knew Andrea did great worked and she was able to come to the rescue! She put together beautiful hydrangea and rose centerpieces and was so great to work with. She put my mind at ease after the frantic mess I became after the first place.

OMG - so glad this stop & shop opened, and I can finally escape the awful, awful Shoprite.

STILLLLLLLL my favorite super market chain by far…read more We're frequenters of the Stew Leonard's in Paramus and have probably been there more times than we can count. We decided to drop by this relatively new location on a random Saturday in Clifton since we were nearby ... and it's safe to say that this one is as good as any. On the day that we went, samples were being given out everywhere we turned. We couldn't avoid a sample station if we tried! There were so many samples that my wife and I wondered why we even had lunch prior as we could have had a WHOLE MEAL there! Anyhow, having been open for about a year (as of May 2025), this Stew Leonard's is as brand spankin' new as it gets. Like the Stew's in Paramus, I love how everything is so neat and organized. In addition, I love that they lead you through their supermarket with a one way pathway instead of it being like the wild west like other supermarkets. If you've been to a Stew's, they have all of your favorites here - including the ever so aromatic bakery section which always smells like deliciously soft and fresh donuts. If you're craving cooked foods on the fly, there is also a buffet, made to order pizza and sushi. The major highlight here for most people, especially kids (and myself), is the ICE CREAM PARLOR near the entrance. There, you will find some of the best soft serve ice cream your tastebuds ever had - in many flavors I might add. I did have a few gripes, but they were mostly minor. First, the dining area for those who want to grab a seat to eat at was a bit on the tiny side with just a few tables. Also, the curb of the supermarket outside was also small. The moment you walk out of the supermarket you're literally on the road, so you've got to hold onto those kids to prevent them from getting run over. If you've never been to a Stew's you're in for a real treat because you'll probably want to buy everything. If you've frequented a Stew's before, then everything you've come to know and love about Stew's can be found right here in Clifton.

That was my first mistake. the guy picked up the basket and ran off. The head cashier I guess not sure asked if I was to go to security to right a report. again being embarrassed I said what good would that do. I will never shop here again

It's very convenient to have right down the street, no need to pop onto a highway. Some of the reviews say the prices are higher, and that may be true. I haven't taken this into consideration when shopping, because it's very convenient so I'm willing to pay more. They are open until 8PM on most days, which is great and unusual for a place like this as well. Grateful to have this place in town!

You may not ever…read morecome across this review because you are busy searching restaurants in NYC for your next first date...BUT, you will be missing out. Lucky Farmers Market is a non-descript bodega perched in a four deep mini-mall on Bloomfield Ave. in Verona (co-occupied by Subway and double Krauszers). Sounds awesome, right? Actually, it is. Inside is where you actually get lucky.* Fresh fruit and vegetables in droves for way less than your not-so-supermarket. From gargantuan Asian pears to three kinds of cucumbers to berries of all kinds, Lucky will not let you down on the fruit and vegetable end. This is not a full market so don't get all, "That dude said this place had everything," because they don't have everything. They just have good produce, a smattering of market items (good, healthy options) and THIS IS WHERE YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION - a full-time sushi chef that churns out the best sushi around, restaurant or not. Yes, a small bodega will give you excellent sushi in a plastic container and you won't have to overpay for it. If you take anything from this, just get the Tuna/Salmon sandwich sushi and thank me later. Lucky is my go-to spot for the items I rely on - fruit, vegetables and sushi. I do the bulk of my shopping at a regular, large and fat market, but I get all my fruit and vegetables here and I get dinner here 2x a week, every week. Everyone who runs this place and works here is super friendly and a pleasure to see every day. In a pinch, you can get flowers here which actually last a while too. What else is there to say? If you don't ever have a reason to go to Lucky Farmers Market, no one will care (not even your Mom), but if you do have a chance to swing by with fruits, vegetables, sushi or something interesting in mind you just might have found your spot. ____________________ *Well, you might not get lucky if you are thinking something other than groceries or sushi, but I get Lucky almost every day.
