    Dirty martini

Fabulous all around. I started with a dirty martini and we had a mix of different plates. The tapas were great for sharing and I feel like we enjoyed the majority of what we ordered, especially the mushroom arancini! Oh and I enjoyed the salt and vinegar chips!

Went to Corsica to celebrate our cousins birthday and it was a great time. We ordered a bunch of small plates. One of my favorites was the ratatouille that I pictured here, and also for larger plates we ordered the New York strip. The steak came with a broccoli Cesar salad that was made perfectly and paired well with the steak! We also tried the sea bass, shrimp and carrots and all were so yummy. Our waiter Ryan was truly the best, and helped us out the entire time. Highly recommend this restaurant, and makes a perfect girls night out!!

Food (5/5): The all day happy hour until 6 is amazing! We had the sangria and lager and also tried the monte cristo and feta appetizer! So delicious even if the portions are small (they are tapas!) Service (5/5): Bartenders are amazing and very kind! Ambiance (5/5): What a beautiful new restaurant in RTC!

Stopped by on a Saturday night around 5/6 and it wasn't too busy! But by the time we left, this place was bumpin. We dined here with our 1 year old so I definitely recommend getting here early if you have a kid and ordering early on, because the service slowed down a lot by the time we left. We ordered: - the chenille (a solid mocktail) - the chicken liver mousse (fine--but I don't love chicken liver) - the salt and vinegar chips (we enjoyed these) - the cucumber salad (loved this--reminded me of a similar cucumber salad I had at Torrisi in NYC) - grilled chicken thigh (really enjoyed the curry yogurt this came with) - rigatoni bolognese (good, but it was missing something? I think the pasta water needed salt or something) - farro risotto (good, love the crispy rosemary) - bastian meatballs (fine, not as tender as the Barcelona albondigas) - NY strip (my father in law loved this) - the almond cake (super moist--like an olive oil cake) I'm disappointed they didn't have the cacio e pepe available and the cream for the almond cake was missing, but I think the food will be better once they work out the kinks. Overall, the vibes are great. The service was good, minus it being slow once all the people arrived. The food was fine/good--I would put it at the same level as Barcelona. Nothing was blow your mind fantastic, but Corsica is a solid joint to eat at with groups.

I used to go to the Mon Ami Gabi that was located here, and was excited to try this new restaurant. I didn't realize that it didn't open until 2pm on a Friday, so I just walked around until they opened. I was seated immediately and the server greeted us a soon as we sat down. The menu has a variety of small plates and large plates. We ordered the New York strip, (this can take up to thirty minutes to prepare so I would recommend ordering this early on) grilled mushrooms, swordfish, and mussels. Overall, the food was prepared well and the food was decent. I wouldn't say I was blown away as I was struggling to find menu items that really piqued my interest. Our NY strip was slightly overcooked as we had asked for medium rare and it was more medium to medium well in some spots. I really liked the fries and Caesar salad it came with though. I hope they switch up their menu items and add more options. I would certainly go back if that is the case.

Cocktails, service and food are all set good! Some of our favorites are the Lemon bucatini, Bolognese, Meatballs and Arancini. Love the frozen Citron Sunrise is such a treat during the summer. Sit at the bar, the service is great!

Went with my siblings sooo we ordered a lot & they gave us free two plates because they were sorry that it took longer but I didn't even notice. The waiter we had was super kind and i appreciated that she always checked up on us. This sister restaurant to barcelona was so good and the vibes/ambience was great! Great social hour. If you don't know what to get-- Get the broccoli caesar and chicken thigh!!!!!! Picasso - grapefruit honeydew melon lemon rosemary: 8/10 bc too much ice but flavor is good. Tiki baby- pineapple lemon lime sage cardamom 6/10: a little too sour but first taste was delicious. Porto cooler- raspberry scrub, lemon 7/10 a little too much wine flavor but I'm a sucker for a good raspberry. Rigatoni bolognese: 6/10 too salty and maybe a little under done but still a solid bolognese. Grilled chicken thighs: 10/10 hints of curry and soooo juicy best thing by far. Bastian meatballs: 6/10 jus average meatballs nothing crazy but still good. Broccoli caesar 9/10 very very delicious and refreshing. Corsican frites: 8/10 good sauce it was like a thick creamy sauce and I love fries soooo. French onion soup: 4.5/10 too salty and the sourdough was built in but we wanted it separately. Vinegar potato chips 7/10 good garlic aioli sauce. Cacio el pepe: 8/10 the noodles were soooo yum and I love the consistency.

Stopped in on a Friday for a quick bite to eat before we headed to the club, really nice space! Had some prosecco as well as a wine tasting (small amount, but nice!) did some apps, all done nicely! We were so hungry I forgot to take pics of the food, gonna have to come back!!! Our waiter was supper attentive and if you need GF options, you are set!!! Come check it out!

We came right at 4pm and were the first ones in. Staff were all at the bar, but greeted me nicely when I walked in. The host was gave us a great table that could accommodate my friends stroller. There is a nice happy hour menu. Ambiance is modern and lively. Fun place to meet friends or have a date!

The restaurant has a nice ambiance with music playing. Our waitress, Gaby was amazing. I have a rice allergy, and she took care that there was no cross contamination with rice products in my food. She even marked my menu on which items I should not order. The shrimp was spicy and delicious. The asparagus was delicious with a nice sauce. The meatballs and beef small plates were okay. The espresso tonic was not to my liking. I switched it out for the purple rain which was really good. It's a little pricey.

It's sister restaurant Barcelona is a favorite of mine. Trying this new restaurant and I have to say it is very different than Barcelona. The concept is relatively the same but the tastes are totally different. Case in point, Corsica's mussel are in white sauces and a bit bland. Most of the dishes are Tapas style and there are couple of bigger dishes for sharing like the New York Strip and Pork Milanese. Having tried both, I prefer Barcelona over Corsica food-wise. We went to it couple of weeks after opening so services were still fine tuning. As far as ambiance, it is like Barcelona with a bar in front and seating in the back. My biggest disappointment is that the bread is not free. Worse yet, It is expensive and small when you do order it.

The miso eggplant was a nice sized appetizer for sharing and was seasoned nicely. The chicken ramen was also the perfect amount of spicy, had a good ratio of noodles to broth to vegetables, and was presented well. Food is OK quality and prices are reasonable if not inexpensive on their specials, like the steak and ribs for only $25. Good flavor and cooked ok but a nice combo for the price. Service is OK with some wait staff being more efficient than others. There were some who knew their customers by name and took time out to talk with them but that slowed down service a little for the rest of us. Nothing too bad but you might wait a bit for refills or something you need after your food or drinks arrive. We had cool fries and it took a bit for the staff to come back to our table to check in the dining room. Similar response time for wait staff outside when we needed condiments that were ordered but didn't come out with our entrees. The choices were: outside, the sports bar, or the dining room. We chose the dining room. A large group of people was sitting at a table. We were given a booth by the window and right by the server's station. Looking over the menu at home, we both decided that we would get a bacon cheeseburger. The entrees seemed, to us, to be too filling. The bacon cheeseburger consists of: "100% angus burger, apple-wood smoked bacon, vermont white cheddar, canadian cheddar, sliced tomato, and crispy leaf lettuce". We both ordered it cooked medium. The dish comes with fries. To drink, I had ginger ale while my husband had a Heineken 00. Our server was friendly and efficient. He made a mistake, bringing my husband a Coke instead of the beer. My husband corrected him. He apologized and retrieved the correct drink. The burger was dry and overcooked. It was more on the medium well side. In one way, I didn't mind that as I didn't end up with greasy hands or a burger that falls apart. The bacon and the cheese provided some relief from the dryness. The fries came out hot, which we appreciated. All in all, it was an OK experience; we would consider going again sometime.

Upon our arrival, we were seated near a window overlooking the sidewalk where we were able to watch people passing by while enjoying our candlelit meal. 10 out of 10 for atmosphere at this charming and cozy table. The service was prompt and attentive. We started by enjoying a few of the craft cocktails, which were simply wonderful and the product of a talented and adept bartending. If your idea of a good cocktail involves slush or machines, this is probably not the place for you. I enjoyed a dirty martini, as did my youngest daughter. My oldest daughter enjoyed a French 75. All lovely and all perfectly mixed. I would return here if nothing more than the cocktails! For starters, my daughter shared the Pate De Campagne, which consisted of country style pâté, cornichons and toast points. They loved it! My wife enjoyed the Salad Verte and I loved the Roquefort Salad. Both salads were simply marvelous and went well with the freshly baked bread. On to the main event! Fo her entree, my youngest daughter had the Roasted Cornish Hen. She had never had Cornish hen before, but this particular rendition made her a fan of the dish. Perfectly cooked, juicy and savory. My older daughter enjoyed the Salmon en Croute. The salmon was perfectly cooked to the correct temp and the pastry was spot on. A lovely dish and one I will try on our next visit. My wife and I each devoured the Chicken Paillard. This is one of those dishes that is so simple, but the lemon butter knocks your socks off. If it wasn't such a lovely restaurant, I might have licked my plate. Yes....it was that good. I ate every last caper! For dessert, we shared a portion of the luxurious pistachio cheesecake. An excellent ending to an amazing meal. This charming restaurant is a jewel in the heart of Herndon. I highly recommend it for your next special occasion. We look forward to returning soon!
