    Dirty martini

Fabulous all around. I started with a dirty martini and we had a mix of different plates. The tapas were great for sharing and I feel like we enjoyed the majority of what we ordered, especially the mushroom arancini! Oh and I enjoyed the salt and vinegar chips!

We decided to try Corsica this past weekend and were here around 4 p.m. on Sunday. At that hour, only a few tables were occupied. The young man who greeted and seated us was very friendly and told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a 4-top table as it gave us room to spread out. Our server was prompt in getting to us. He gave us both a wine menu and a food menu, which also included cocktails, mocktails, and beer. One thing we didn't care for was the tiny print on the menu. And the lighting is on the dim side. Even with my reading glasses, I had trouble reading (and, yes, I do have an appointment to see the optometrist). For our drinks, I ordered a mocktail called "raspberry beret" which consists of: "lapsang souchong tea, raspberry shrub, pink peppercorn, aquafaba, lemon". This drink was okay. However, I kept tasting an ingredient that had been used before but couldn't quite place. My husband ordered a non-alcoholic beer. It turned out that they didn't have it in stock, so my husband got a Peroni instead. We ordered one small plate "jambon" which is a French ham. It was okay, but on the dry side. We ordered two large plates. Our server said that each large plate serves two or three people. This surprised us, but we decided that if there was too much food, we could take the leftovers home. My choice was "Chicken Genovese" which consists of: "potatoes, green beans, and agliata verde." Before ordering, I asked the server if the chicken was white or dark meat. He said "white meat". It turned out to be half of a small chicken. Thus, it had both white and dark meat. I looked up "agliata verde" and found that 'Agliata verde' is a delicious pate or spread made with crushed garlic, olive oil, fresh herbs, lemon juice, and fresh tomme cheese. If tomme is unavailable, you can use ricotta instead. The chicken was cooked correctly and had a nice crispy skin. The agliata verde did indeed have a noticeable, but not overpowering garlic flavor. The green beans and the potatoes were undercooked. My husband chose to get "Baked Lumache" which is a pasta dish. It consists of : "pomodoro, ricotta, lemon zest" He really enjoyed this dish and ate most of it, minus the small amount that I tasted. We were getting full, so we told our server to bring the check. My husband went to use the bathroom, and while he was gone, our server brought over fresh napkins and two spoons. He told us that the manager was sending us a complimentary dessert. It turned out to be creme brulee, which we shared and enjoyed. The manager, a young woman, checked on us more than once as we ate. After we finished the dessert and paid the bill, I approached her to thank her for the creme brulee. She said she hopes we will return and mentioned that on the weekends, they have a brunch that they serve until 3 p.m. Perhaps, we'll give it a try :)

Went to Corsica to celebrate our cousins birthday and it was a great time. We ordered a bunch of small plates. One of my favorites was the ratatouille that I pictured here, and also for larger plates we ordered the New York strip. The steak came with a broccoli Cesar salad that was made perfectly and paired well with the steak! We also tried the sea bass, shrimp and carrots and all were so yummy. Our waiter Ryan was truly the best, and helped us out the entire time. Highly recommend this restaurant, and makes a perfect girls night out!!

Food (5/5): The all day happy hour until 6 is amazing! We had the sangria and lager and also tried the monte cristo and feta appetizer! So delicious even if the portions are small (they are tapas!) Service (5/5): Bartenders are amazing and very kind! Ambiance (5/5): What a beautiful new restaurant in RTC!

I used to go to the Mon Ami Gabi that was located here, and was excited to try this new restaurant. I didn't realize that it didn't open until 2pm on a Friday, so I just walked around until they opened. I was seated immediately and the server greeted us a soon as we sat down. The menu has a variety of small plates and large plates. We ordered the New York strip, (this can take up to thirty minutes to prepare so I would recommend ordering this early on) grilled mushrooms, swordfish, and mussels. Overall, the food was prepared well and the food was decent. I wouldn't say I was blown away as I was struggling to find menu items that really piqued my interest. Our NY strip was slightly overcooked as we had asked for medium rare and it was more medium to medium well in some spots. I really liked the fries and Caesar salad it came with though. I hope they switch up their menu items and add more options. I would certainly go back if that is the case.

Cucumber salad (my fave thing we ordered)

Stopped by on a Saturday night around 5/6 and it wasn't too busy! But by the time we left, this place was bumpin. We dined here with our 1 year old so I definitely recommend getting here early if you have a kid and ordering early on, because the service slowed down a lot by the time we left. We ordered: - the chenille (a solid mocktail) - the chicken liver mousse (fine--but I don't love chicken liver) - the salt and vinegar chips (we enjoyed these) - the cucumber salad (loved this--reminded me of a similar cucumber salad I had at Torrisi in NYC) - grilled chicken thigh (really enjoyed the curry yogurt this came with) - rigatoni bolognese (good, but it was missing something? I think the pasta water needed salt or something) - farro risotto (good, love the crispy rosemary) - bastian meatballs (fine, not as tender as the Barcelona albondigas) - NY strip (my father in law loved this) - the almond cake (super moist--like an olive oil cake) I'm disappointed they didn't have the cacio e pepe available and the cream for the almond cake was missing, but I think the food will be better once they work out the kinks. Overall, the vibes are great. The service was good, minus it being slow once all the people arrived. The food was fine/good--I would put it at the same level as Barcelona. Nothing was blow your mind fantastic, but Corsica is a solid joint to eat at with groups.

Stopped in on a Friday for a quick bite to eat before we headed to the club, really nice space! Had some prosecco as well as a wine tasting (small amount, but nice!) did some apps, all done nicely! We were so hungry I forgot to take pics of the food, gonna have to come back!!! Our waiter was supper attentive and if you need GF options, you are set!!! Come check it out!

We came right at 4pm and were the first ones in. Staff were all at the bar, but greeted me nicely when I walked in. The host was gave us a great table that could accommodate my friends stroller. There is a nice happy hour menu. Ambiance is modern and lively. Fun place to meet friends or have a date!

It's sister restaurant Barcelona is a favorite of mine. Trying this new restaurant and I have to say it is very different than Barcelona. The concept is relatively the same but the tastes are totally different. Case in point, Corsica's mussel are in white sauces and a bit bland. Most of the dishes are Tapas style and there are couple of bigger dishes for sharing like the New York Strip and Pork Milanese. Having tried both, I prefer Barcelona over Corsica food-wise. We went to it couple of weeks after opening so services were still fine tuning. As far as ambiance, it is like Barcelona with a bar in front and seating in the back. My biggest disappointment is that the bread is not free. Worse yet, It is expensive and small when you do order it.

Tried out this new restaurant in RTC and I have to say I am impressed! I was worried there wouldn't be much flavor because it is a French restaurant but that simply wasn't the case. Everything had great flavor! The service was friendly and the manager checking in on us several time to insure everything was to our likely. The ambiance is lovely; low lighting and open seating. Of the drinks, the wolf pack and Tiki baby were our favorites. Out of the small bites we tried, the grilled shrimp and the broccoli we will be ordering again. The steak frites were the best I've had in a while and I will be back to order that again! The mussels and ratatouille did not impress and were not dishes I would order again.

    Grilled Chicken Thigh

A Tasteful Blend of Italy and France in a Relaxed, Elegant Setting Nestled in Reston Town Center (former location of MonAmiGabi), this Italian-French restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience that effortlessly blends the warmth of Mediterranean hospitality with refined European flair. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance sets the tone--relaxed yet sophisticated, with warm lighting, tasteful decor, and a layout that invites lingering conversation and second rounds. The bar staff here deserves special mention. Friendly, experienced, and clearly passionate about their craft, they elevate the pre-dinner drink from routine to memorable. The drinks menu is both creative and classic, and it's clear the team behind the bar knows how to strike that perfect balance of precision and personality. Now, let's talk about the food. From the Small Plates: The grilled shrimp was a standout--perfectly cooked and begs to be eaten with the sourdough bread. The grilled chicken thigh - I would recommend asking for it "lightly charred" to get the perfect char-to-thigh-meat ratio. It paired especially well with the accompanying mustard sauce, which adds a gentle zing without overpowering the dish. Mussels lovers will find a refreshing twist here. The preparation deviates from traditional European styles, offering a bold medley of lobster broth and fennel greens that somehow still feel cohesive. I recommend it for those with a more adventurous palate. From the Large Plates: The Chicken Genovese is generous enough to split--especially if you've already indulged in a few small plates. The chicken is remarkably moist and flavorful, with every bite infused with the rich, herbaceous Genovese sauce. The accompanying potatoes soak up all that goodness, while the green beans offer a fresher, more restrained contrast, keeping the plate balanced. Dessert: If you've saved room (or even if you haven't), the almond cake is worth it. It's a hefty slice, easily shareable, with a delicate almond flavor that doesn't lean too sweet--an elegant end to the meal. In short, this restaurant is a gem--perfect for a date night, an upscale group dinner, or even a solo treat at the bar with a beautifully mixed cocktail in hand. It's rare to find a place where the service, drinks, and food all hit high notes so consistently. Whether you're there for a few small plates and a drink or the full spread, you're in for a memorable meal.

intimate vibe, family style tapas. staff was incredibly attentive (like 5 employees checked on me throughout my dine...) & they took time to cross out my menu with anything that contained gluten! my server charlie was a literal angel, so sweet & energetic. the food was incredible, especially the carrots! they also offer yummy mocktails & a small portion of a rotating wine at the beginning of each meal for $5.

The paella was delicious, the patatas bravas were flavorful, and both the pork belly and bacon-wrapped dates were standouts. The sangria was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. Now, I've had Spanish food in places where it's a little more authentic and refined, so this wasn't necessarily the best Spanish food I've ever had. But considering we're in Virginia, Barcelona absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, the patio setting, and especially the exceptional service combined to create a five-star experience. Barcelona Wine Bar serves a variety of authentic Spanish tapas and plates along with a large wine selection. My mom and I were super excited to dine here as we both love a good tapas meal! The restaurant is in a great area but you do have to pay for parking (they should validate your parking though). The interior is lovely and the ambiance is unique with a rustic-chic vibe. The service was good and our server was attentive. She offered us some guidance on the menu and some recommendations as well. The workers did a great job grabbing finished plates off tables and were super friendly. Some of our food took longer to come out, specifically the charcuterie board. Each table starts with fresh, warm bread and Spanish olive oil. Some tables got balsamic vinegar added to their oil, but we didn't. They do offer refills for the bread as well. For tapas styled dinners it is recommended to order a couple of plates at once for the table to share. We started with the Aperitivo Board which included an Jamón Serrano, Chorizo Soria, Idiazábal, Manchego, Eggplant Caponata, House Marinated Olives, Pickled Guindilla Peppers, and Patatas Brava. This was a huge board with a little bit of everything. Ordering this allows you to try some charcuterie and tapas at once for a great price. The meats were lovely and the Manchego cheeses were bold. Both paired well with the olives too. The eggplant caponata had a slight sweetness to it, which I liked. And the patatas bravas were easily some of the best I've had. The crema atop of them was to die for, these are a must order! Like I stated above, our board took a while to come out. This wasn't a huge deal, but it definitely took longer than it should have and I wish our server had checked in on us during that period. Next, we order the beet salad, albondigas, and the jamón & manchego croquetas. These dishes arrived quicker and all came around the same time. The beet salad consisted of pickled beets with a Skordalia garlic spread on the bottom. The sweetness of the beets complimented the Skordalia nicely. The albondigas included 5 Spiced Meatballs in Jamón-Tomato Sauce. With a little bit of a kick to them, these meatballs were fantastic! The sauce was extremely flavorful and I thoroughly enjoyed these. Lastly, the jamón & manchego croquetas which were served with the same garlic aioli that was atop the patatas bravas. These were rich and really creamy with lots of manchego. The breading was light on the outside and the inside was packed with mostly manchego and some jamón. I didn't like these as much as I thought I would, but they are definitely worth a try. Overall, all the food was amazing and we both really enjoyed our meal. The service was decent and I thought they did a good job taking care of us. They are very friendly and will help you navigate the menu if needed. The interior is such a vibe and I really loved the ambiance. While our charcuterie seemed to take a while to come out, all the other food arrived promptly. Everything is served made to order and arrive hot to your table. The Aperitivo Board is definitely the best bang for your buck. I would 100% order this if you want a little charcuterie and some of the tapas. Could easily be a meal for two people. I would return to try more tapas in the future and recommend if you are in the area! Aperitivo Board - 10/10 Beet Salad - 7/10 Albondigas - 8/10 Jamón & Manchego Croquetas - 7/10
