NY Strip Steak Fries
Christina N.

I came here for a birthday dinner with family and absolutely loved it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very cozy with dim lighting and candles on every table, a case with silverware against a wall, quite homey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A large group dinner, dates/anniversaries, and families were there, so while it is higher end, it's not restrictive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff here is so kind and attentive, there wasn't a moment when we had to ask for something as they thought ahead for us. I started with a Summer in Provence cocktail, strong and slightly sour. For appetizers, we got the Coquilles Saint Jacques (scallops) and Country French Meatballs. I found the scallops to be salty due to the bacon, but they were cooked perfectly. The meatballs and the sauce were much better overall. For my main, I ordered the Salmon en Croute. The pastry on the outside was flakey and crispy, the salmon was juicy, and the sauce was creamy. Every aspect of this dish wonderful and worked well together, it was also a larger portion than I expected. I also tried some of the Magret de Canard (duck), which didn't taste strongly of cherry (a positive for me) and the duck was tender. I get why this dish is a popular one here! Lastly, we ended our meal on the creme brulee, sorbet and ice cream, and the chocolate mousse. All of these were hits and I would recommend them all.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a very cozy family owned restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is very nice. And very friendly. Service is on point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere- Cozy and quiet[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have extensive wine list and pretty good menu. We tried salad. Trout and salmon. Salad pretty simple and fresh. Trout was great i asked for no sauce. Salmon juicy and delicious [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you looking for boutique French restaurant you will enjoy a nice relaxing atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parsley parking or i think there is a lot across the street as well

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a beautiful restaurant with great service and even better food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My coworkers and I enjoyed a delicious business dinner here!

Decided to try this place out because I saw it was new in the area! We ordered the cherry duck and lemon caviar pasta and both were delicious. I especially liked the duck because it was juicy and salty and went well with the sweet and sour sauce! The pasta tasted freshly made and had a generous scoop of caviar on top. For dessert, we got the pistachio berry tart which was surprisingly soft and the chocolate mousse was very smooth. The service was fantastic and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the inside is decorated very nicely![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only thing is that parking can be a bit difficult to find but there should be street parking and nearby lots.

This is a very cute little French restaurant. The food is AMAZING! The portions are reasonable and not overwhelming and the wine list looked good. The service was attentive and friendly. It started slow but for a lovely evening, it was perfect! You don't want to rush through this evening. Everything we ordered was top notch and a great change of pace from other places that need to turn the table to get another party in. Highly recommend!!! Can't wait to have occasion to go back!

This place is a gem. The staff are so friendly, receptive, and kind. We came for our 25th anniversary we were welcomed with a smile. The food is well flavored and not over the top with seasoning that you are not aware what its origination was. We had fombay shrimp, coquilles saint jaques, Cesar salad made table side, magret de canard, and salmon en croute. Each dish was simply presented and the food spoke for its self. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is beautiful, quiet, romantic, and clean even the chandelier was not dusty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can not say enough about this quaint place.

We had the lemongrass beef and fish sauce wings to start, and they were damn good. I had the hot stone pot fried rice with grilled beef for my main, and loved it. The rice at the bottom got crispy and chewy and added so much to the dish. My friends split the hot pot pho for two and it looked amazing too. So far, the spring rolls, the pho-nomenal, and caramelized fish are all 5/5 taste wise. Wow! The place is quite polished ready to serve business lunch and dinner dates. The decoration is quite modern. I like the overall vibe. The price of the menu reflects this but everything I ordered so far is so good that the price tag may be worth it. The staff is really nice and friendly and I already know what to order for my next few visits. Parking may be a challenge but it's not really a busy area. If you cannot get street parking, there are parking lots within walking distance either to the left or right side of the restaurant.

One of the highlights of the night was meeting the owner, Jason. We bonded over our shared Cantonese backgrounds and even got to meet his aunt, who was visiting from California and happened to be sitting next to us. It made the whole experience feel incredibly welcoming and personal. We ordered the Dynamite Roll, which was a solid choice with 8 generous pieces, and the Szechuan spicy wontons, which were juicy with just the right amount of heat. If you visit, definitely grab a seat at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, engaging, and really add to the experience. We were treated to a complimentary shot of Jäger with Jason and even got to sample their Lychee Pearl cocktail because the bartender had made an extra. The cocktails really stood out. Instead of masking everything with sugary juices, they use extracts and creative techniques to build balanced drinks that complement the flavors beautifully. Jason also mentioned that their cocktail specials change every month, so we already told him we'll be back regularly to see what new creations he comes up with.

She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and struck that perfect balance of checking in without hovering. Great service can elevate a meal, and Maria did exactly that. The food was excellent. The paella was delicious, the patatas bravas were flavorful, and both the pork belly and bacon-wrapped dates were standouts. The sangria was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. Now, I've had Spanish food in places where it's a little more authentic and refined, so this wasn't necessarily the best Spanish food I've ever had. But considering we're in Virginia, Barcelona absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, the patio setting, and especially the exceptional service combined to create a five-star experience. If you're in Reston and looking for a memorable dinner, Barcelona should be at the top of your list. Ask for Maria if you can she is fantastic.

It's a nice atmosphere, not too stuffy but elegant enough for a nice dinner. The drinks are good, well mixed, and nice options whether you drink wine, beer, cocktails, or non-alcoholic options. The food, however, is very mediocre. They started with an amuse-bouche that was a fruit tart with cheese. Nice, light, and well balanced. We ordered the tuna tartare, along side a Japanese sweet potato dish and a salmon tartare that were both specials. The tartares were fine. Something you would get anywhere. The presentation was nice but their crisp or cracker was kind of useless as it doesn't have the structural strength to use as a vessel to eat the fish. The sweet potato was probably the best in terms of flavor albeit very rich. The main course is well things really fell apart. The beef dishes people ordered were either under cooked or over cooked. I got the grilled prawns which were limp and mushy. The veggies were underseasoned. The braised beef was small. I think everyone was underwhelmed with the main course. It's fine as a after work dinner spot but if you care about food, there are better options nearby.

Level G2East. Take the elevators up to 1, cross the plaza directly across from you (towards the metro) and the hotel entrance (not the residences) is under the awning on your left. Pro tip - restaurant is cashless, so have your card handy. There wasn't a bar tender available until 11, so unfortunately we didn't get any mimosas (which we were planning on for our bubbly brunch!). The scones (at $10) were delicious, particularly the lemon curd. I just wish you got more than 2 for that price. Several of us ordered the eggs Benedict. Eggs were perfectly poached and the bakery style English muffin was perfect. I found the Virginia ham overwhelmingly salty, but the salad was a nice compliment. The waiter was awesome and so nice. Staff wrote my friend a congrats card, as we were celebrating the soon-to-be birth of her baby.

The free popcorn still isn't good or all that enjoyable, service can be hit or miss, drinks are expensive, and the food is very good. The Reston location does have plenty of large TVs, making it a solid place to catch a game. This was a guys' night out for food and drinks, but it's probably not going to become a regular meetup spot when a couple of easy changes could make a big difference. First, get rid of the popcorn, it's honestly laughable. Second, bring the drink prices down. A Wild Turkey and Coke shouldn't cost $14. We started with something to share. My biggest concern was value for the price, and the menu only had a few appetizers that felt both shareable and reasonably priced. The Bavarian Pretzel was good, although I wasn't a fan of the mustard dip. At $10, it's a decent value for two or three people. The chili nachos were tasty, but $18 is just too much for what you get. Even if they doubled the chips and chili, I'd still think they were overpriced by a couple of dollars. I'll definitely give them credit for the entrées. On my last visit I had the jambalaya, which was excellent. This time I ordered the Peruvian-spiced half chicken, and it was fantastic. I ended up spending almost $100. I had a good time and enjoyed the food, but Open Road has moved into my "splurge" category rather than my monthly hangout spot. Our server may have been new because service was slow, and the kitchen was also taking a long time to get food out, especially for a Friday night. I'm giving the Reston location four stars, just like Arlington. The food was tasty, I had a good time, and I'd come back, ... but.... the little things, especially the drink prices, lopsided menu pricing, and inconsistent service, keep it from being one of my spontaneous go-to spots.
