I was very impressed with how they accommodated gluten free dairy free needs. They have an entire menu dedicated to it, and the servers and kitchen are super patient and accommodating. Our salads were delicious/ meats cooked perfectly / ver well seasoned and delicious dairy free dressings. French fries hot crispy - tasty gluten free bread, and excellent service. It has a darker interior with dark wood tones and a moody steakhouse vibe which not always my favorite but I get the desire to have that winery feel. I feel lighter and brighter colors would have been nice as the interior rooms don't have windows so it feels a little constricted (for me at least)... they do have outdoor seating and that would be my choice ! Would definitely go again !

That was a really lovely evening marred only by less-than-attentive service, and missed value. We felt like an afterthought to our server, and felt that we were waiting too long for small things - like refills, or just to see our server. Otherwise it was a lovely evening. The PBJ Old Fashioned was ok. I'm a big fan of Skrewball, and was surprised to see a drink using it. At the price point it was nice, but not as good as just a straight up double Skrewball. The sweet wine sidecar was .. unnecessary but a nice, very sweet - almost Sangria - after chase. The bread was interesting, and I can be quite critical of bread. From the photos I was worried this would be overly yeasty, like the pretzel it was emoting. Never the less I found it to be warm, and quite nice. Soft. The outer shell was more pretzel but the inside was more boulle. The egg rolls were delicious but the show stopper was the Cashew Dipping Sauce. Holy wow was that good. Sweet and a little tangy. Not at all what I was expecting, and I wish I had ordered MORE of that for EVERYTHING. The main dish was the Parmesan crusted mahi mahi. Very delicious. I hate broccoli, but whatever that was that looked like anorexic broccoli, it was good. Quite good, reminding me more of the taste of asparagus. The whipped mashed potatoes were just mashed potatoes, nothing remarkable, and not really much remarkable about the dish itself, it was just good. Well prepared. Nothing unique or surprising, just good. Happy. I really had a good time and it was a good date. The alcohol and food selection is broad enough to fit many palates. Two drinks, appetizer, Mahi Mahi, all came to about $95. With tip it pushed that over $100. Was it worth $100? Nah. It really wasn't. The prices are a bit high for everything. You could find equal value for less at Ted's Bulletin, maybe even Cheesecake Factory. The value does not match the price, and the constant hard sell of the wine club was annoying, when our server was around to talk to us. We felt like an afterthought. So this was a tough review. I liked it as a good date spot, a place to impress a date. But the cost-value was off and the service brought it down a bit. I would return if I wanted to impress a date, but can't see this as a regular spot.

Came back for lunch a couple weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. Cindy was my server and, honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better, more attentive person to wait on me. She was super friendly and personable and made great recommendations. She went above and beyond to ensure I had a good experience, too, and was good at anticipating my needs. Food: This time around, I ordered the chicken Madeira. It was good AF. The red wine sauce wasn't overwhelmingly red or rich but hit my taste buds perfectly. The mashed potatoes were bomb. I wish I'd had more asparagus but I ordered the lunch portion. lol Egg rolls: I never go wrong with the over the border egg rolls and they were extra good this time around. I asked for extra sauce and really had a time. I love how consistent CH is and I have yet to have a negative or even meh experience at this location.

Came here for dinner, based on a recommendation. You walk thru a wine tasting area before getting to the actual restaurant. Has an elegant, sports bar vibe. Coopers Margarita - standard margarita, nothing more nothing less. Paloma - it was ok. Nothing really stood out, including the flavors. Steak salad - very tasty. Not crazy that it's served on iceberg lettuce but the steak and dressing are delicious. Key lime pie - tasted like it came straight out of a box. Not horrible but disappointing, nonetheless :-/

Another fabulous visit at Cooper's hawk. It's our go to place to bring friends, especially since we get to drink our wine :) December has the best menu for dinner! Butternut squash ravioli with lobster, scallops and shrimp and the surf and turf has stuffed lobster! What makes the restaurant so special are the wonderful people - Kayla did a fabulous job as our server today - Cindy is always so sweet and wonderful and Anthony is a fantastic manager.

Cooper's Hawk Winery - A Must-Visit! I was in the area for a work trip and needed a place to sync up with my team for dinner. Cooper's Hawk happened to be near our hotel, the photos looked incredible, so we decided to give it a try and wow, I'm so glad we did. When you first walk in, you're greeted by a beautiful store-meets-bar setup. I was immediately obsessed. The wine and champagne glasses, the aesthetic, the entire vibe, I wanted to take it all home. It's such a visually pleasing and welcoming entrance. We didn't have reservations, but the hostess was extremely friendly and sat us right away. Our server (I wish I remembered his name!) was wonderful. Since it was our first time, he walked us through the menu and pointed out the chef's specials. What really impressed me was how each dish is marked with a notation that ties directly to the wine that pairs perfectly with it, basically the VIN number of its ideal wine match. I thought that was such a thoughtful and unique touch. For food, we ordered the crusted mahi-mahi, chicken potstickers, and tuna sashimi. Everything tasted just as good as the photos if not better. The tuna sashimi was incredibly fresh and beautifully simple, not weighed down by unnecessary garnishes. The sauce it was paired with added the perfect touch. The chicken potstickers were so good we practically turned them into a shared entrée. And the mahi-mahi? Absolute perfection. We were too full to try dessert this time, but honestly, the entire experience from start to finish was amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the food, all outstanding. This place is absolutely a must-try!

Michael was a wonderful server. He was fast and friendly, and helpful. This place is also my "go to" when I travel to this city. The wine choices are endless, the food is always great quality and flavorful. The ambience is modern and comfortable, and a it's a nice social, meet friends, or date night type of atmosphere.

This place is close to my work place and i have never come here before. We went for happy hour and the drinks were okay. The food however was amazing. We loved the shrimps. It was so crispy and such a large portion. The burgers were also amazing and so are the sliders. It was not bad money wise either considering $8 a drink. They also have a wine member where you get free wine every month. It gives you a chance to try the different type of wines. It has differnet level but for $24.99 for a large (double the size) this month.

My first wine tasting at Cooper's Hawk Winery was delightful! The ambiance is an upscale contemporary relaxing environment. Very welcoming and inviting! After sipping different wines, my choice of savor is pure sweetness. I truly enjoyed my time here! Oh and yes, I left with 2 bottles!

Ambiance: this is a chain restaurant which I do enjoy. There is a bar for wine tasting as you come in. They have merchandise that are super cute. You can dine at the back bar or in their main dining room. I've seen some private rooms as well for parties. Service: I usually go for wine tastings and pick up a few bottles since I'm a member. The bartenders are great. Trevor helped us and he was very attentive and sweet. Food: I didn't eat this time around but I've had great meals here before.

Everything is great at Cooper's Hawk. Take your pick. Have never been disappointed. Two favorites are the short ribs and the prime rib sandwich. Staff is friendly and attentive.

We came here as a party of 8 on a Saturday during the holiday season. My daughter has celiac so when I found out that they have a separate gluten free menu (that's quite extensive!) I was very excited. I called ahead of time to find out their celiac protocols and was pleasantly surprised to learn they gave a separate area of the kitchen for gluten free foods and a separate fryer as well! They even brought out a delicious soft gluten free bread at the start of the meal! My daughter does not currently have any symptoms so if she were glutened we probably wouldn't know but it seems they are aware and knowledgeable on celiac safety. She absolutely loved her bread and lettuce wraps and steak and multiple desserts (the crème brûlée and s'mores pot)! For those of us without celiac we started with the pretzel bread and calamari (both great)! I had the surf and turf with filet and lobster. The lobster was a tad overcooked and the filet just a bit salty but overall still good. My dad ordered a blackened salmon which looked great! For dessert we had the crème brûlée, s'mores pot and chocolate cake -- all good! So happy to have found a place that has so much awareness on celiac, will definitely be back.

We did a wine tasting and had lunch. The wine tasting was amazing and the server was informative. For lunch we had the Brussels sprouts and Ellie's chicken (gluten free) it was so flavorful and again our waitress was attentive and very nice. We love Cooper's hawk!

But if you go the small plate route , you'll want to order between 3 and 4 items per person. The large plates are meals. The atmosphere was as expected. This would make a good date night. You could dress up or you could dress down. Either way, you'll be right at home. Our waitress Gabby did a great job and she was super helpful. My wife is allergic to rice so Gabby made sure to check with the chef about cross contamination and what was good for her on the menu and what not. Super appreciative of that. My wife tried two different sans spirits drinks. The espresso tonic. I tried it also. Big no! It has tonic espresso and grapefruit juice. Those did not vibe. We sent it back. She then tried the Purple Rain and loved it. All in all, it's a good spot and I'm glad we tried it. I think next time we will go exclusively with the large plates. The small plate route was kind of expensive for what we got and we didn't get a lot of food. We both actually left hungry. We are not drinkers but we accompanied two of our friends who are and they enjoyed the wine selection.

Food is OK quality and prices are reasonable if not inexpensive on their specials, like the steak and ribs for only $25. Good flavor and cooked ok but a nice combo for the price. Service is OK with some wait staff being more efficient than others. There were some who knew their customers by name and took time out to talk with them but that slowed down service a little for the rest of us. Nothing too bad but you might wait a bit for refills or something you need after your food or drinks arrive. The entrees seemed, to us, to be too filling. The bacon cheeseburger consists of: "100% angus burger, apple-wood smoked bacon, vermont white cheddar, canadian cheddar, sliced tomato, and crispy leaf lettuce". We both ordered it cooked medium. The dish comes with fries. To drink, I had ginger ale while my husband had a Heineken 00. Our server was friendly and efficient. He made a mistake, bringing my husband a Coke instead of the beer. My husband corrected him. He apologized and retrieved the correct drink. The burger was dry and overcooked. It was more on the medium well side. In one way, I didn't mind that as I didn't end up with greasy hands or a burger that falls apart. The bacon and the cheese provided some relief from the dryness. The fries came out hot, which we appreciated. All in all, it was an OK experience; we would consider going again sometime.

Like Trios, but even better. Get ready for a bunch of superlatives…read more.. This place has some similarities to Trios in Merrifield. Both Heirloom and Trios are attached to--and share a kitchen with--a Roadhouse Grill, and all of them are owned by the same parent company. However, Heirloom is much smaller, which I suspect makes it easier to control quality. Based on my experiences--one visit here and many visits to Trios over the years--the quality of just about everything is better at Heirloom. My meal consisted of their Smoked Manhattan, the Burrata salad, and the Heirloom Burger. (The burger was so good that they named the restaurant after it!) The Manhattan was one of the best Manhattans I've ever had. It had a wonderfully mellow, balanced flavor that edged toward sweet, despite being made with rye. Maybe it was the aroma--and eventual taste--of the large toasted marshmallow suspended over my glass where the cherry would normally go? I guess, to be sure, I'll have to go back and order another. The Burrata did what all great burratas do: each bite felt like a mouthful of sunshine. The cheese, tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette combined to create pure culinary happiness. The only better burrata I can recall was at Mikrolimano in Athens. However, once you factor in travel time and parking, Heirloom is definitely the better value. The Heirloom Burger was absolutely delicious. This past week I've been waxing poetic about burgers because one of the Hackney's restaurants back home is closing after 70 years, so emotionally, I'm not prepared to bestow any new burger honors just yet. However, check back in a few weeks, and you may very well see this review updated to say that the Heirloom Burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Other logistics... The service was OUTSTANDING. We were seated right at our reservation time, greeted warmly by several staff members, and waited on nearly hand and foot by Alex. She explained the menu, helped us select our beverages, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the meal. It was attentive service without ever feeling intrusive. Parking is free after 5 and on weekends in a multi-story garage about half a block away. Happy hour is 5-7. They call Heirloom a speakeasy, but it feels more like a small restaurant with an eight-stool bar and a few high-tops. It's intimate compared with the Roadhouse, but not exactly speakeasy-intimate. And, finally, Heirloom is inside Roadhouse. You walk down a hallway, turn left into a very short hallway, open an unmarked door, and then go through a second door marked only by a red rose on the handle. I suspect the obscure entrance is their justification for calling it a speakeasy. But with food and service this good, they can call it whatever they like.
