I love finding great coffee spots, especially Cuban and Puerto Rican cafés, so I was really excited to try Cortadito. The café is absolutely adorable, and I loved the cute cups and overall vibe. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. They forgot my coffee at first, and the staff seemed rushed and not very attentive. I understand it's Las Vegas and things can get busy, but for the price, I expected better service and quality. My coffee wasn't enjoyable, and I ended up throwing it away. My chocolate croissant was also hard, even after it was warmed up. I was really looking forward to this visit, so it was a letdown. Came across this Cuban coffee shop in the Flamingo hotel next to the Cuban restaurant, Havana 1957. I ordered the tres leches latte iced and found that they charge $1.00 more for iced, making my drink almost $11! I will say it's one of the best iced coffee drinks I've ever had. The next day I ordered the caramel flan latte also iced but because I asked for skim milk, that was also $1.00 more and that drink was $13.89!! I'm in town treating myself and taking a welcome break from Starbucks, but come on. And these were the regular/smaller sizes, not even the larger ones. Wow. Way too pricey for every day. Found this cute spot at the Flamingo this morning and it was worth every penny. There are no substitutions food comes how it comes. I was pleasantly surprised how much i loved everything. We tried the tres leche latte we just added our owj sugars. We got the breakfast sandwich and even with mayo it was not dry. The breakfaat wrap was so good lots of flavor and the guacamole is so fresh. The empanada we had to try it too was worth it. Tasted like all the empanadas I had growing up so authentic. 100% perfection! We arrived and got our order in. They didn't have chai lattes, but I got a vanilla latte. The wait wasn't long. The drink was amazing! Very creamy and strong! Returned to the Cortadito Coffee House and had an amazing Cortadito (a Cuban coffee drink made with espresso "cut" by a small amount of steamed milk). Since there was a good amount of customers already enjoying their purchase, I placed my order on their existing kiosk screen. The process was user friendly and was presented in a timely fashion. Its cute little coffee shop is located inside the flamingo hotel. We got two lattes and a chocolate croissant and a beef empanada for $37. It is quite overpriced, but the empanada was delicious and the lattes were very good. The chocolate croissant wasn't warmed so it was just OK. The service is very quick and efficient. It comes with sprouts and sunflower seeds sprinkled on top. There's a lot of avocado, definitely get your moneys worth! The avocado toast as a whole was pretty basic as there was not much flavor. It's made with a multigrain slice that is toasted, tasted a bit stale. If you want to add egg, you have to go to their associated restaurant next-door. I will, however, admit that if you are looking for traditional Cuban coffee, you won't be getting that here, so I understand the disappointment with that. And I will also say that pricing here is pretty high. Service, however, is great and the people working here are friendly and accommodating. I was pretty bummed out. I was really hoping that the Cuban style cortadito would be the same as the ones in Miami but it's not. I was thinking the classic style cortadito here was going to be sweet, creamy, strong, and that flavor of Cafe Bustelo or Cafe La Llave but instead it was watered down bitter espresso which was an Italian roast they were using. I could've had better from Peet's coffee honestly. We also didn't enjoy their Tres Leches iced coffee; this was bland and unsweetened. It basically tasted like a regular iced latte. This place is an embarrassment to Cuban food and Havana 1957 brand. We love visiting Havana 1957 in Miami and were surprised to come across it here, although we only had time to stop by for a coffee at their adjacent Cortadito Coffee House. But then again, it's Vegas, the tourist trap of the world, so staff doesn't care and clearly management could care less about keeping the quality of the name. I ordered the bon bon. Look at my picture to see how small the cup is, and that cup wasn't even half full. Sure, the drink is an espresso shot, but how small is that shot? Go to Porto's in LA for a cortado and it's 3x the size. Get a cortado in Miami and it's as big as a regular coffee cup. The worst part? They still charge $6.50 for this drink when it's not even a whole drink. absurd. read more

After a stellar meal the night before, at the affiliated Havana 1957 restaurant next door, we gave Cortadito a try for breakfast. My wife's first comment was "I have some suggestions to improve their processes." We stood in line, waiting to order at the counter, and after a long time in line, noticed people using a self-service ordering kiosk nearby. One member of our party abandoned the line and ended up ordering well before the rest of us. Essentially, they have the regular line where you wait for someone to hit the buttons on the POS screen, or you can just take the self-service route for the same results. Since self-service goes so much quicker, their queue for making coffees is overwhelmed with those orders, so people who have spent time in line to order also find themselves being pushed back in the order preparation queue by self-serve orders that keep arriving. The people preparing the food were working diligently, but are at the mercy of a badly constructed ordering process that punishes people ordering at the counter. The food and coffee were fine, but we spent much more time getting breakfast than we wanted to. read more

Cortadito Coffee House is a cuban cafe/bakery located in the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. The iced drinks here are $1 extra, which was disappointing because of how hot it was when we were there. They also ran out of the plain banana bread and some things in the pastry case, but we ended up getting the chocolate banana bread, a chicken empanada, a strawberry and cheese pastry and a guava and cheese pastry. For drinks, we got an iced tres leches latte and a pistachio latte. Our total for these were ~$65, which was so overpriced. The 4 pastries tasted good, but they were so expensive and small. The coffees were strong, but there was no pistachio or tres leches flavor in either of the lattes. NO FILTERED WATER. I first had cortadito coffee in Miami last year. Miami is also expensive but I don't remember having to pay for ice, nor do I remember paying 26 dollars for two drinks. I know I got an extra shot in one drink. It wasn't the price that made this place average, it was the lack of urgency, and lack of filtered water. Apparently they don't have a water filter to hand out safe drinking water!? I'm drinking coffee from you guys! it may come from a mastrena or different source but you should provide water to paying customers. I'd understand if it was someone who didn't buy anything, because that would be time consuming and a waste of resources, but you are a coffee establishment. Water should be essential to the brew. You can adopt what Starbucks does and charge 1.00 for the cup. I was also second in line and it took forever to order. The pistachio latte was okay. Came here and tried the espresso with condense milk which they call a "bon bon" and an empanada. Prices are a little on the high side but consistent with what you should expect at any Vegas hotel. The coffee was very good and the empanada was also good. I will definitely go back for coffee and try some other things as well. There is a Cuban restaurant next door they has a nice bar and does live music which likes nice as well. The coffee shop itself is nicely designed and is a nice place to sit for a while. read more

The customer service at that cash register was very friendly, but then they lost my order and I had to wait while others after me got theirs. I noticed the girl making my coffee was very slow and nonchalant, she also touched money in the cash registered and back to my drink- which from a germ standpoint, was concerning. This is a new Cuban coffee shop located inside of the flamingo. Right off the bat, I had trouble getting here, as there isn't a lot of free parking options nearby. Definitely recommend coming here if u are staying in the hotel. There is a parking lot nearby, but technically it is only for the business there, and they could have your car towed. Now the coffee shop. It's a quaint little spot, with a nice feel to it. The prices a fairly high, as to be expected inside a casino. The drink I got was decent. Pretty good espresso flavor, but nothing to write home about. Service was good, the person that took my order was very sweet.
