Ok so this is by far my go to pizza 9/10. the guy that is working the phone at 5:18pm on Friday night had a nasty attitud, didn't give me a price, a time or even asked my number. It will be at least an hour and hung up lol. I'm all about customer service so this guy gets 0/10. read more

I used to get their meatball sandwiches growing up, and a visit to Cortina's was a must when I came back to town from school. Not anymore. Folks, you all aren't losing your minds. The recipe has been changed. The sauce is more tomato-y, less of that slow-cooked, rich, wonderful umami meat flavour. I just tried one more time tonight, thinking (hoping) it was a one-off. Nope. The same. Over-priced and unremarkable. I mentioned my experience to my cousin and she said her husband had found the same thing. Cortina's was the pride of Sudbury for their subs, I would tell everyone to try them when they came up for tournaments. Sadly, no more. Mouth watering. Great business was opened in 1964. Ongoing today. In 1989 there were 22 cortina businesses throughout Northern Ontario. A Good business will never die. I've had many flavours of pizza in Sudbury & I still favour Cortina. Kitchen Sink rocks! read more

I ordered delivery about 3 weeks ago and I gotta tell you the lady I was talking to seemed uninterested. She took my order without even asking me if I wanted anything else and did not say goodbye or thanks. The meatball subs we ordered just had what tasted like burnt hamburger. First time I tried their meatball sub was around 1980's. Their sub was absolutely the best. There were two locations in sudbury one was on bancroft drive at second ave and the other was on Barrydowne. Fast forward to today there is only one location left it is the Barrydowne location. I bought two subs the other day. I am so disappointed I had to open a yelp account to voice my opinion. The sub did not have meat balls at all. It had slices of what looked like minced meat or spam cut about 1/4'' thick and their famous sub sauce they used to have is no longer. Did you guys lose the original recipe. Wow what happened do the owners hate or not care about customers at all. This was the absolute worse sub I have ever had. 15.00 wasted. I do not recommend at all. read more

I visited Sudbury this weekend Dec 14 and we ordered pizza it took an hour to deliver when we got our pizza it was half cooked the bacon was still almost raw and the dough was not fully cooked. We paid 40 dollars with tip the actual pizza was 37.50 for a large all meat pizza that we couldn't even eat. We ended up ordering dominoes. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy if I had any. read more

My go to for meatball subs. Love the pizza also. Would get it more but it's a little pricey.

Husband bought pizza here so I didn't have to cook. Crust was nice n thin but it tasted sooooo doughy!!! The toppings were ok. The pizza was way over priced. Going to try another pizza place next time. Definitely not worth it. read more

Ok pizza but very lite in the sauce. 4/5 for the crust and 3/5 for toppings. Not a huge selection of toppings choices. Is recommend the meatball subs over everything else. Best ones in the city read more

What can I say about this place there pizza is to die for add meat sauce to your pizza on top of. There normal sauce makes the pizza even better there meat ball subs are best in town only thing they need to do is lower there prices its a bit to high read more

1st of all pizza wasn't the best , crust was hard and tasted of old yeast.. 3 large costing close to 80 bucks so overpriced for the low quality of pie .. will never buy from them again.. and wouldn't recommend to anyone . read more

I tried to order a pizza and 2 meat balls subs when i stopped in at the barrydown location on December 29 2015 at 5:30 pm. The servers there were so extreamly rude and obviously did not want my money. when asked how long for delivery was told could be 3 or 4 or more hours and that she was not a fortune teller. There was more to her fantastic attitude but i wont get into every thing her beautiful mouth barfed up. will never support that location or perhaps even that company again and plan on spreading the word. if this is how the customer is treated i have to question how the food is treated. read more
