I was in town for business and ended up spending a lot of free time at the Rainbow Centre mall downtown and eating a lot of fast food (whoops). I usually don't care much for the customer service at fast food places especially the ones in food courts, but the customer service reps at this place were SO incredibly nice. I don't know, maybe I was just feeling lonely in a city where I knew no one, but they really were very friendly. I was impressed. Moreover, the owner of the franchise happened to be there and I talked to him for a while, really nice man. He actually gave me some freebies (free cookies - free stuff's good stuff)! Which I definitely was not expecting, but it just goes to show that they take their customer service really seriously. I had a great experience here and I hope they do well.

For me, Sudbury was a cross between the setting of a David Lynch film, the 1950s, a blue-collar hell hole, and a land devoid of color and glee. Having said this, the bright colors and the festive music of La Casa Mexicana attracted me in. The server was very friendly and had a smile. She was also prompt. No problems with the service. The food, however, was bland. But let's face it, i knew Mexican food in the middle of a damn coal mining town would probably not offer an explosion of happiness in my mouth. But the food didn't make me sick, so that is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1. Also, the prices were too high. I guess it was my best choice for food in the area, because the only other crap I could find was fast food (yuck). But if you can find other restaurants, I would highly recommend you try one of them over this place.

There are two places to order and on this particular day they were only receiving orders from one spot. This was not made clear (with a sign etc), and many people waited in the wrong line for a while before they were told to line up again in a different line. I find the menu very difficult to read and that can be intimidating when you go for the first time. If you are a vegetarian, you don't have too many options. There is an eggplant sandwich and a vegetarian pizza (that you have to wait 15 mins for). For a place that prides itself on being fast it was anything but. Also, the panini I ordered wasn't grilled. When I think of a panini I automatically think grilled, otherwise I would call it a sandwich. So I was disappointed over this. I got the fries with slaw and BBQ combo. Again I was disappointed when they gave a vegetarian meal gravy instead of BBQ sauce. This is what they gave everyone. So.. false advertising. I didn't ask to get it switched because the person I was with said they got the same stuff the last time they went. If the service improves it might we worth a visit for meat eaters. Since I am such a list person here are the pros and cons in list format.... Pros: 1) consistent 2) good prices 3) they have a loyalty program that if you accumulate 10 topper's stickers on bills you can redeem them for a free pizza. It is great for students. 4) They don't normally burt the crust. 5) You can get a half-and-half pizza (ie: one half with the toppings you like and the other half with the toppings that your roommate, etc. likes) 6) You pizza is ready quickly. 7) Great location. Cons: 1) I have had better! 2) They aren't generous with the toppings. 3) They aren't the best for substitutions. They will do some, but nothing too complicated. 4) The crust is more dough and not crispy on the bottom.. and lets face it when it comes to pizza that matters most! ... I think this comes at the cost of pumping pizza out the door fast.
