I am a chronic relapser as I've struggled continually throughout my life with pain medication addiction. I've had many accidents and surgeries that led doctors to prescribing me heavy dose oxycodone and methadone. It felt like something I would never get out of and I had legitimately given up hope that I'd ever love pain med free. I'm always a big skeptic when it comes to treatment centers as I've been to many over the years but they really went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable experience, from the detox process to all phases of treatment. I felt I received the individualized care that I needed and wasn't just treated as a number filling a bed. They've also done a great job at staying in touch just enough afterwards to remind me of where I was and that I can continue this path of sobriety in or out of treatment. They don't give a shit if you're hungry and you run out of food. The staff flirts with the clients which is unprofessional, and it was brought to the higher-ups attention and nothing was done. Half these people on these reviews aren't even real. I'll be leaving another review. Please do not believe they refused. They force people to do them when they leave. Don't be fooled by them. I could never work for a company who cheats people and does insurance fraud. Also, please do not listen to admissions everything they tell you is a complete lie. She was unreasonable and it was a total waste of time. Trying to talk to ANYONE there by phone is IMPOSSIBLE. I left messages on every extension they had asking them to call me back, they never did! They sent my wife to the ER without just cause. They indicated that her case was too complex for them and they were not medically capable of handling her and they sent her to the ER to "dump her", instead of admitting they were not capable. There are many choices for Detox and Rehab. Don't choose this one!

Our insurance was not notified by BeachesTreatment Center about about my husband paying the $4000 so I still ended up paying 15% of my total bill. Beaches Treatment did not deduct the $4,000 from what I owed them. Also, when they took the patients out for a movie at a local theater, we all had to wear Tee Shirts with Beaches Treatment Center printed on them in bold letters. It was embarrassing and I suspect a HIPA violation. They would only allow me to speak to my family on speaker phone with their representatives listening to both sides of our conversation. I was treated like a captive. I can only say that the therapists did try to do a good job with the clients, but everything else was a horrible nightmare.

I have never had such trust in any doctor as I do in Dr. Husted and I actually enjoy going to appointments and feel better each time I see him. We have had to try many different approaches and he is always upbeat, understanding, and thorough and he comes up with alternative solutions. I can't say enough positive things about him. Truly outstanding!
