From start to finish when working up the quotes for our home, vehicles, business truck and trailer, everyone at this office handled it like they were the owner of the company, had the answers on the spot and knew the answer to every question we asked - it was awesome! By the way every person we spoke with spoke so highly of Suzanne and how involved she is in creating a team environment that's second to none. They definitely love what they do and who they work for. We also love and appreciate how in sync everyone is when it comes to staying in the know when their policy holder needs help with something. It doesn't matter who takes the call or replies to the text/email, they're always on it and always offer top notch service every single time. Oh, and by the way, I found it even easier to get answers on the fly via tex rather than calling which I love. Call, text or email... they're always responsive. For me, texting is the win and I get my answers fast. Their app is fantastic, I love how each member of the household can pay their part for their vehicle and have access to the app with their own username and password. It's also great for monitoring your driving habits and keeping an eye on how the teen driver is doing. I saved the best for last.... when we switched we got higher coverages plus an umbrella policy and lowered our bill from Farmers by just under $300 a month. I was skeptical at first but with the Drive Safe app and everything else we ended up in a better place when it comes to insurance and the savings was so great we can afford to do more things every month or save that cash for something bigger like another vacation or project around the house. Failure on so many levels. Ask to see the emails where he makes promises where he never follows…read morethrough. We finally had to threaten legal action of his mistakes. He has caused us nothing but headaches and time from our schedule. He blames everyone but himself. His office never follows up, sends wrong information, inverts numbers. We almost had a policy cancellation twice. #1 due to customer letter from our old agent (see email where he said he would take care of it, never did).. and never getting our Escrow company to pay our premium. Although he inverted numbers in the policy he blames Umpqua. Granted at one time his daughter was very sick and he was distracted, but after that no excuses. He just fails on many levels. Distracted, makes mistakes, does not contact. Several times I have received emails or messages on FB where he says "I did not think it was that important and/or you're in a rush" I have been asking for a binder / rider for 3-weeks now, no follow up. I can't say there is anything wrong with Nationwide yet, but I can say if you decide to try nationwide to find a better agent or a trained Monkey. I know they trained monkey will fail too, but at least he/she will be entertaining. Note, once we threatened legal action for his failure on every level he dropped us as a client and we now are handled directly from the home office. I gave ONE star since there is no way to give ZERO. Updated 6/26/2015 -- Complaint Filed with Nationwide Advocacy 800-882-2822, should have is license revoked. Getting worse... seeking litigation against Allen & Associates for Loss & Damage due to not writing the policy correctly and / or notifying the insurance company. Filing a complaint with the Oregon Insurance Board and notified the home office. They are trying to fix the mess he created. We are now out nearly $2400 in fines from lack of escrow due to him not creating or filing or writing the policy.

The initial valuation was low by about 5k, but after providing the documentation they asked for on the car they came up to what I thought was fair. After all the horror stories I've heard about dealing with your insurance company to get a claim, I've gotta say Alex was right there helping me from day one. Not only are their rates as good as I could find, the service is AMAZING! I have a friend that just went through something very similar and his outcome was not a good one.
