I pulled over and gave Accel a call, and their mechanic was able and willing to slide under my car and detach the rest of it (it's not essential for vehicle operation) to get me safely back on the road until I have a chance to get it replaced. It only took a minute or two to undo a few screws, but I was still willing to pay something for his time, which he declined. Any place willing to squeeze in the time to help someone in dire straits for free can certainly be trusted to give a fair deal on regular repairs and maintenance!

They never called so I called them and they stated they were waiting on parts and would call with update. Again never called. I called again and this is now 5 days later and said they found something else wrong and now we're waiting on those parts. Finally 1 week later it was ready and the price was way more expensive than what was quoted Overall I would not recommend them for repairs, communication is non existing. Not only have i been trusting them to fix my vehicles for over 10 years, but all of the mechanics will take the time to explain anything (and everything) you need to know about what was wrong with your car and why you need to fix it- or why you might be able to wait and fix it in the future. My car [always] tends to have issues at the wrong time in life when pennies are being pinched, but i have always been left with a feeling of comfort knowing that i wont be taken to the cleaners from having to fix something that doesnt need to be fixed, or that im buying random new parts that dont need to be replaced. This place is one of THE most honest and reasonably priced auto shops in town. Im happy to say Im a customer for life. Ive even used their towing service multiple times, and they've always come to my rescue quick, got the job done safely, and got me back on the road in no time (tire change). Their shop is ALWAYS busy, so they must be doing something right AND, imo, doing it well!
